You should invest in some versa grips you may never use wrist straps again. I have had mine for probably 8 years, a freinds dog even chewed a part on them and they are still working and holding together extremely well! You wouldn't have much problem using them on anything and they also offer support for pushing if used the opposite way. Excellent accessory!

Brett Wilkin (IFBB Pro) just came out with "butcher hooks" lifting straps. I plan on ordering some in the future but those may be something to look in to.
I have seen those but never used them ?
I just checked those out. They look pretty cool, and are using the same idea on how to use for pulling but they don't appear to offer any support for pressing movements if you want that. It is surprising how they offer so much wrist support for pushing without having to wrap your wrist tightly to get it.Brett Wilkin (IFBB Pro) just came out with "butcher hooks" lifting straps. I had a pair of these although they worked they were horribly uncomfortable for me.I have a pair of the Harbinger Lifting Hooks, they work well for some movements not so well for others.
Agreed, easily one of the best items I have for my gym / working out that were at or around the $50 mark.Versa Grips are great you’ll never use another lifting strap
You definitely won't be sorry if you do! My wife even loves hers!I may have to get a pair !!
2nd that one!Family, friends and customers all want to make me fat!
I hardly ever take mine off. the Velcro stopped working after about 5 years. bought some Cobra grips about 3 years ago to replace my versa's, I like them better. the strap is wider in the middle. Better for grip when I really don't need a strap. keeps my hands soft and supple. Plus I get more wrist support. a a little cheaper. You should invest in some versa grips you may never use wrist straps again. I have had both of them and recommend both. My original pair a buddy had and told me they got chewed up so he got me the cobras then one day I misplaced one of the cobras and he brought me the damaged versa grips back over. I had just forgotten about the cobras, I do think the versa's are a little better made but both are high quality and will last you a lifetime.I hardly ever take mine off. the Velcro stopped working after about 5 years. bought some Cobra grips about 3 years ago to replace my versa's, I like them better. the strap is wider in the middle. When the straps get in the way, IE: land minds or D-bell extensions I just spin them around to where the strap is on the back of my hand. still get some wrist support.

They will probably last me for about 5+ years. I almost always have them on when I'm lifting. I use them a lot! If I curl them under I can still write in my log book without taking them off. Plus they start to get a little ripe and I will throw them in with a load of hand towels. I don't recommend it. I'm just too lazy to wash them in the sink.I have had both of them and recommend both. As long as you leave the velcro together I think they should be okay in there. They withstand hundreds of pounds gnawing at them for years, I am sure they can take a little soap and water. They will probably last me for about 5+ years. Let us know how you like them! That's a good point! I still plan on getting a pair and trying them out for pulling movements on leg and back days.

To be honest after going out and looking at the price of them now, I would go with the cobras being $20-40 cheaper. As much as I like supporting the originator, I know the quality of both and I do not think that versa grips are 140% better like the price is higher.Which pair are you sold on? I might follow your review.
Oh I have done this, too many cookies can mess up my day too! Proud I only had 2 that one day and only had one yesterday. So I am doing really well!12/28/2022 Weight 181lbs
Notes; I had a heck of a sweat going on the treadmill, it felt really good. Unfortunately I let the cookie talk to me and a too many. I started to feel really bad (Sick to my stomach) by the end on the day.

we don't have a longer rope attachment at the gym. but keeping my elbows behind me did make a difference.Invalid Link Removed
@MrKleen73 sent me this video on tricep training, so after watching it I had to make a trip to Lowes and make a new rope for press downs,

this longer rope combined with keeping my elbows back, really changed how press downs hit my tri, I really like it !!
Thanks brother, It will pass. still getting in a little shoulder rehab.I wish you a speedy recovery !!
They do make a huge difference !Glad that video was helpful. I have 2 long handles I use for mine and love it!

Do you do chin ups? Chin ups are excellent for growing biceps, especially if you do the negative slowly and keep elbows out in front of the bar so it puts the load on your biceps. For you that would be a 180lb negative curl each rep.I wish I could find a really good movement that worked for my Bi's, they need the most help !!
