Beginning to hope I actually tore off some kind of scar tissue/adhesion during that deadlift and not part of my actual bicep. There’s been no bruising, barely sore, and I’m basically fully functional. I was moving the 45 plates and dbs around tonight just fine. There is a remarkable increase in range of motion now with my left elbow - did less than a thumb length from the smooth tonight no problem. Probably been ~18 months since I could do that without nerve/pain issues. I was also able to lower the dbs below my chin, all the way down, on OHP, and my fingers were touching the smooth on JM Press. This is extremely exciting; I’ll be testing barbell incline & overhead ROM next week!
Also, the closegrip 350 went up so smoothly it was almost casual, even with a solid pause. Wife & I decided to play it safe and quit while I was ahead.
