Wife Has COVID-19

what if the government mandated vitamin D passports lol
what if frontline doctors who are actually treating covid patients became more involved in setting guidelines, instead of just administrators?

wouldn't that be tremendously exceptional?

To each their own but living in South Florida and going into Whole Foods and 90% wearing masks, wtf. Go to Publix maybe 50% wearing masks. Sorry the whole mask wearing is a joke, oh well my opinion. Do what you want, just don't tell me what to do.

Apparently a combo of benadryl and lactoferrin has shown effectiveness

great find...but isn't this the kind of stuff that many doctors said about ivermectin?

while the findings are encouraging, ostrov cautions against self medicating....wait for it--here comes the calvary of doctors against this just like ivermectin-i would put money on it.

remember when biden told states to give $100 to people for getting vaccinated?

surprise, doing something is better than waiting for your oxygen levels to drop

surprise, i agree with you....!!!!!

merely pointing out that i wouldn't be surprised to see a score of doctors discrediting this, same as they have ivermectin.

Yeah soon FDA will come out and say how dangerous that combo is. Ridiculous how this is playing out, just shows you how dumb most Americans are.
a guy hiding in his basement because of mental illness got more votes than any president in history.

i guess we got the government we deserve for being so fucking dumb.

I wear a surgical mask (not n95) for 8-12 hours a day at work (minus a lunch and 10min break). Running up and down 2 flights of stairs regularly and throwing freight (40lbs to 85lb boxes) depending upon the load that shows up that day. I have no problem breathing. Its all in your head.

Maybe your body has just adjusted and it’s all in your head that it’s all in everyone else’s head? 🤣

i see where there are long, very long lines to get tested in many places---here where i live it's about the same as before holidays---anyone having long lines to get tested where you are?

Behold! $cience!!!!!

Total BS. I caught the coof 2 days ago from one of two people I work with. They were both:
•fully vaxxed
•fully boosted
•fully covid suppositoried

So why does Marxist news network insist vaxxers can’t spread it and shouldn’t quarantine? $cience!

I am not vaxxed, never will be, and will end bloodlines if anyone tries. I will be the only one boosting myself

The two vaxxed from work have been annihilated and are on day 7 of misery. Day 3 today for me and I have bounced back, just a tad bit weak from lack of food intake. Fahk that pencil necked, limp dick fauci and all his fellow droogs.

Follow the $cience……

I wasn’t able to find this data. Has anyone else?

I'm responsible for testing at my job, in other words I personally test everyone on an FDA approved antigen device. I've tested many hundreds of people. I've had more positives in the last month than the last 2 years total, and they are all vaxxed. I myself am not, and have not have covid as far as i know, and I do not mask or wear gloves when testing. None of the few unvaxxed around me are testing positive either.

this flies in the face of what we are being told by government agencies/mainstream media--thanks for posting real-life experience...of course there is the fact that for you skill set being in great shape is a must-eh?

This is wild. Will you keep us updated?

Sure, I'm in good shape: three 1.5hr bjj classes most weeks, plus 2 kettlebell workouts (300-500 wings + 200-300 pushups). I also always take ZMA, MST's MVP multi, fish oil, curcumin (currently Helios 100!), 5k iu Vit D, and ECGC when I remember, plus whatever test booster I feel like (currently Dermacrine). But I'm also 47, don't sleep enough, and I'm as exposed as it gets, so 'at risk' (lol whatevs son).

Hey guys been gone for a few days. Had the covaids. **** hit me like a flu. Not the worst flu I’ve had but it was terrible fever and aches for 2 days. Probably not top 5 for me but possibly top 10 in my life. Then a couple days mild fever and got a pretty damn sore throat. Could not get monoclonal because in my area you have to be high risk to get it, otherwise they just wait to see if you have to go the hospital. Totally shitty healthcare system. If I was rich I would have been treated and better in a day probably. Anyways just feel a little weak now, but happy to be done with this ****.

I never had breathing issues at all so I never had anxiety about that. Being that anxiety is a comorbidity I would recommend anyone who gets it to take it serious, but also take it confidently.

Hope everyone is doing well, and getting Covid changes none of my beliefs in being against government tyranny. If your beliefs crumble in the face adversity you miss the beauty of the rugged American spirit. Just my opinion. Glad to be back.

Oh and my 6 year old son got it and he literally has had worse colds. So don’t be afraid for healthy kids either in my opinion.

The sore throat was by far the worse symptom for me. Felt like strep x2. Then the lingering lethargy for like 8 days. Glad you crushed it.
So strange how it take some people out so hard. Maybe we are just becoming super
Sick as a society? It’s hard to fathom “healthy” people dying from it. Maybe they had something underlying that covid hit?

maybe my wife and i do truly have Superior Genetics?
back before we got covid [march 2021]we were told our age group-over 60 would be hardest hit and we were fearful of getting it..but when we did get it symptoms were much milder and shorter lasting than many of you guys on here who are much younger?

well I made it to TN and back for Christmas and didn't get sick. for the flights I did zicam nasal spray after (has eucalyptol). but I also was doing all the regular supps/vitamins.

Yea that was the worst for me too. Yea I’m still beat and I imagine getting back into a workout routine is gonna start off weak but what can we do.

Yea I wonder if there is more to some of these cases because honestly I’ve been sicker and never once had some kind of fear I wouldn’t make it. It wasn’t pleasant or anything but like not lose the bill of rights worthy you know.

Like you I’d want to know more about people who seem healthy and are hit hard.

I wonder if your cardiovascular endurance plays a roll. I hate cardio…kinda wish I didn’t. I’m gonna get an exercise bike soon to get some in weekly I just can’t get more time at the gym than I already spend lifting.

How long ago was your infection? It seems that antibodies from prior covid infections may start to reduce after a period of 6 months similar to what looks to be the case with vaccinations. In either case protection against infection from Omicron appears to be similarly low with two vaccine doses and with having a prior infection, so either way vaccine passports are not really making sense to any degree as only those with a booster shot appear to actually be protected to any degree against omicron infection.

After two doses, vaccine effectiveness against symptomatic Omicron infection ranged from 0 per cent to 20 per cent. Following a booster shot, effectiveness ranged from 55 per cent to 80 per cent.

Based on the report's analysis of individual risk factors, the odds of reinfection with Omicron are 5.4 times greater than those with Delta.

Healthcare workers exposed to SARS-CoV-2 in the pre-Omicron era had 85 per cent protection against a second infection over six months after the infection, according to a study, while "the protection against reinfection by Omicron afforded by past infection may be as low as 19%."

I had covid over 18 months ago and still have the antibodies. Quit believing the b.s. about antibodies only lasting a short period of time. My wife has had antibodies going on 14 months now. They don't want people thinking antibodies will last but the fact is they don't have a clue!

Great post as I feel the exact same. How people can't see that this is all about control just baffles me.............It's all about control- if the gov't cared about our safety they would focus on treatment and not just tellilng everyone to get the jab.

How do you know? Which test are you getting?

covid is a respiratory illness--having a strong cardiovascular system could only help...

None
do they tell you symptoms? curious how many are losing taste

None have that so far. It's all sniffles, sore throat, tires for a day or 2.

As an aside, my daughter flew to Wisconsin with her boyfriend, came back new years eve. They both felt the above symptoms by new years day, not getting worse at all 2 days later, actually he's almost back to normal. They could find a testing place without a 6hr wait, so they haven't been verified by testing but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

From a news article from today in AL:

"Nafziger and Williamson both said there is evidence that disease caused by omicron is less severe than delta, and that at least some of the people in Alabama’s hospitals came for other reasons - trauma or pregnancy, for example - and tested positive for the virus on admission. That’s something that rarely, if ever, happened during the delta surge, Williamson said."

At least some news agencies are giving more of the full story!

My wife is a public school teacher and had to get the booster shot in early December. She’s now positive for Covid. Fortunately it seems to be a mild case. She said that if it wasn’t for the positive test, she would have just taken otc meds and worked through it. We had international relatives here for the holidays, so everyone had to get tested to make sure they could get their flight home, otherwise she didn’t feel sick enough to get tested. She has also not lost taste or smell. Nothing makes sense.

biden calls covid 'pandemic of unvaccinated'

just last month biden said-'vaccinated people do not spread the disease'

joe biden-if you get the vaccines you will not get covid'

you go, joe--you are doing a great job. keep up the good work:love:
