This Vulcan GHD is awesome. Truly sturdy build quality, very easy to assemble, impeccable packaging for safe transport, and they thought the ergonomics out well (split pads to clear your package, adjustable band pegs & handles, double adjustable foot pads, wheels). Footprint is very respectable for something to do glute-ham raises, back extensions, weighted situps, and preacher curls.

It just feels great! Worth the $570 shipped.

When I owned my gym they said these were about the only high risk item for theft from break-ins because of their value lol.

Getting some low-back specific work back into the program with the RDLs. My PR for 10 plates on Legpress was 10 reps - I was really surprised with my strength. I could have taken 900 for 15+ I am sure, but I got what I needed to drive progress & hopefully by not going til death this won’t cut into squat strength on Thursday.

Really enjoyed the vibe & energy going into training this morning. Not sure if it was the 10mg Dbol prior or the cheap new preWO, maybe both? I am really on at this point.

Just your standard plate-loaded 45* Legpress any commercial gym would have. I believe their gear is all Nautilus. It feels extremely typical.

Now years ago, there was one old hardcore gym I trained at some, and their old 45* Legpress I swear was harder, but I can’t tell you why or if it was actually. But that thing did always feel like a bazillion pounds. Probably just rusty, ungreased guide rods - that place never even had soap!

They gym I just left had a leg press like that. I can throw 800 pounds on a commercial gym leg press, but 490 (even had the 4x100# plates) on that fucker took monumental effort.

Yeah I thought it was different, that ancient one. But all the commercial places ever have basically the same feel/resistance. They’re designed to let someone feel good by putting a bunch of plates on arbitrarily lol.
 
Last week added 200mg mast e. Also just switched testosterone from enanthate to test isocaproate to use up this one old vial. The entire head slid off when I tried to pop the top, so I now had a 10ml open ampule basically. Drew everything up and deposited it in the recent empty test e vial since it was that or toss it.

No bench this morning: RSV got me pretty good yesterday with some chills & very low fever into the night. Still pretty farked up today, fell asleep working & was late to a zoom meeting lol. Missed 3 meals yesterday & was down 4lbs today, but now getting some food back in me again and planning to lift tomorrow night. COVID test today was negative, as expected.

Skin is good. Taking mucinex and blowing 1,000 tissues and hacking up all kinds of stuff still. Head is really pressurized from drainage and giving me a ton of vertigo - I definitely don’t have the balance to train standing up, but may try bench tonight.

Also no taste now hardly, or appetite, but the wife loves me and bought a dozen doughnuts so squirreling some of those away with chocolate Fairlife to try to get some calories in me.
 
Still no training yesterday as I was still pretty sick. I am full of long esters, so there was no point in stopping shots or the cycle temporarily. Just have to shift some things around in training to accommodate. Made sure I got at least 200g protein the last couple days but bodyweight is down several lbs to 244.

I ain’t worried about it. I have 850mg of test, mast, deca flowing through me saying my time is coming!

Down several lbs at least. Just did what I needed to do to maintain muscle & strength. 5lbs over the previous 4x4 day and additional volume on the closegrip work. Still sick, so I shut it down after the primary work. Felt good to have the bar back in my hands!

For sure, thank you! I figured all of that bench training is laying down, and I set the safety pins so tight that if I don’t maintain a perfect arch I will touch them, so there’s no way to drop the bar on myself.

It should get better as the sinus drainage goes away.
 
Nice work mate.

I've found sinus and inner ear infections (of which I've had many since kids!) can be difficult to shake. Fluticasone for 4 days helps greatly.

Started Raloxifene 3 days ago as I really don’t want to increase my use of Exemestane. Deca just isn’t for me; it takes more than it gives even at a very low dose. Still, planning to finish the run with it on board for now since it does pad the joints well.

Took a YOLO shot of 15mg Trest Ace about 2 hours preWO to get some more anabolic mapping done. An hour later my heart was racing uncomfortably, but by the time I was training it had calmed down and I began to feel more & more confident. I was surprisingly strong in the session, but most interesting was that I wasn’t exhausted after deadlifts - I felt like I could keep driving, getting through my accessory & cleanup quickly. It was a good experience.

Never used NPP. Deca absolutely does aid joint comfort just at 150mg, but because I’m so sensitive to prolactin and it promotes aromatization I end up needing more drugs to control my gyno even at that tiny dose - and it’s not really a good strength drug beyond the joint aspect, unless the athlete just needs more sheer leverage from volumization.

A great member on here donated their research supply of Trest to me - this coconut oil flows smoothly! Just going to use it preWO for now occasionally.

This felt really good. Just getting some extra work in. It’s deload & Christmas week, and I’m still sick, so not pushing anything. Planned some upper stuff yesterday, but I was so exhausted yesterday afternoon I just fell asleep for a couple hours instead. Also went to bed early & slept in today til 6 to keep the recovery going.

They don’t say they come with clamps, but mine did and that price was shipped. You will want the length cut down some if you mainly intend to press with them; call the owner because he will make them whatever length you want for that price. But the standard length is awesome if you want to do heavy ass rows.

Perfect deload session. Took some noopept preWO and both squat & pull technique was on fire, so I really got some excellent practice in. 14 Chin-ups at nearly 250lbs is a new best, and I was happy with the 20-rep squat finisher as well - always a solid gut check.

Strictpress starting to get some strength back, and enjoyed some heavier curling as well today. Christmas was a truly great time with family this year!

Toying with the idea of entering the strongman contest my wife is doing at the beginning of April. I really like the events as it’s a fairly static show, but a lot still has to happen for me to be able to get ready enough to compete safely in 14 weeks.

Very smitten with the effort & outcome of today’s session! First time frontsquatting in ages - kept it light & focused on racking up quality work. 20lbs added to the 12-rep RDL set from 2 weeks ago. Also pleased with both the pace & scope of accessories accomplished.

Took 3 caps of SNS Vasoforce Rush for the first time today, along with a cap of Alpha GPC, Huperzine, B complex and a sublingual Pregnenolone tab. Honestly, this was an awesome training experience!

Since that strongman show is almost 14 weeks out, dropped my total gear dosage from about 850mg/wk down to 410mg this week (210 test e, 100 mast e, 100 deca) in case I decide to do it. Figure I can run about 340-410mg for 3-4 weeks and get away without much strength or size drop off, & then ramp things right back up. Also going to pull bloods in a couple weeks & make sure things aren’t too risky to go the distance. 14 more weeks is too much more straight time to be on blast for my comfort, and I don’t have enough room to raise doses significantly over that time.

Have you recently tested out your max? Good luck for the competition.

I have an idea where they’re at for the powerlifts, but if I do the strongman show those are quite different events that I haven’t trained in years - quite intimidating!
