Our NYPD went from being our 9/11 heroes jumping into buildings about to collapse to save lives to becoming the terrorists in only 20 years.

Really sad, NYC let our heroes down. But we should have known all along as they were all dropping dead from lung problems from 9/11 particles because they couldn’t afford health care while Mayor Doomberg said they needed to prove it.

shameful....some of those guys and gals were 1st responders 20 years ago, and many more are related to the heros who lost their lives on 911---be-bitchio should be run out of town.

Gee, you don't think the Left is imposing these mandates knowing full well that first responders (and others) will protest and not comply, and therfore essential services will be grossly under-staffed (since many positions have already been defunded) - to provide the Biden Bunch with justification to bring in a federal police force, do you?

This link discusses racial undertones, but that's not the point of me posting it - it also discusses unarmed people who are killed by police.

It absolutely does happen, but again i didn't post it to open up this debate either- it was to point to the hypocrisy of using a sign that says "Do no Comply" when after police do kill someone who is unarmed, people jump all over it saying "they should of just complied!!!".

People choose not to comply for lots of reasons. The army lieutenant who was held up at gun point by officers asked why he was being pulled over, and the officers did not give him an answer. The reason cited was for not displaying car registration tags, which were actually displayed on the back of his truck. So the driver had every right to question WHY he was being pulled over.

then they pepper sprayed him and detained him for not complying. The lieutenant didn't need to comply because he wasn't doing anything that justified detainment.

The officer got fired, but how does someone like this make fundamental mistakes like that? Police don't have absolute authority, they exercise their power under law, but the law still has limitations on when that power can be exercised.

The WHOLE thing could have been avoided simply by walking up to the window, telling the person why they were stopped, having a conversation about it which would have ended with "ah, didn't see the plates back there, have a good day"
But instead they approach the window hostile and put up a barrier resulting in the officer being fired. A cop simply cannot be making such fundamental mistakes that violates a person's right.

I showed my wife the video, she does confirm the translation is accurate but she said it seems like they edited his entire discussion and pieced it together.

It should depend on the age of the student. Mature content for mature readers. Sex is a normal part of life, and stopping people from reading about it doesn't stop people from doing it.

i saw in Texas (?) they were removing books like To kill a Mockingbird etc because of its content.

Types of books subject to ban contain:

"human sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), sexually explicit images, graphic presentations of sexual behavior that is in violation of the law, or contain material that might make students feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress because of their race or sex or convey that a student, by virtue of their race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously."

Did they ban the Bible? Of course not. This type of book ban list is what happens when you let religious extremists create laws.

That is funny, I do think he is the right direction at least and have kids learning skills thats going to prep them up for success rather than this social justice warrior bullshyt. Not to say we shouldnt learn history, but critical race theory is a complete waste of time.
