I've decided to stop watching the news. I can't take all the BS anymore. Seriously cannot listen to another damn thing someone is all of a sudden fake hurt by that never, ever would have been an issue unless someone was looking for an issue.

The pandering is going way too far. Making Mr Potato Head gender neutral is just a PR exercise and stuff like that needs to stop.

Hey guys, it sucks to not be around, glad to see you guys keeping it all going.

All I know is that I know another group who wanted to bury history, take down monuments, ban guns and burned books.

It is pretty telling when Thor and Jiggz agree on something. Things are so extreme even people who are normally on that side disagree with it. Maybe Biden will be the rebirth of conservatism?

Haha, ain't that the truth.

In all honesty, I'm all for equality and acceptance, but I do draw the line when people impose the extremes of that onto others.

Like cool, you want to do stuff in private, go for it. But don't get all mad because a toy is called Mr Potato Head, or because some person called you 'she' instead of 'Zie' or 'them' nonsense.

Why the **** are people putting more effort into discussing toy genders than things that actually matter. Its bizarre and undermines the entire message.

Damn, we agree. No fun. Honeatly, I want equality. I love MLK's views. "I want my neighbor to have a color TV, because if he doesn't have one and I do, what is he going to want to do?"

I think what a lot of people want nowadays is privilege, not equality. We can call it white privilege and make it about race, but a feeling of entitlement is a problem nowadays for all of society, every race.

And yeah, it is hard to have a serious discussion when people want to talk about toys and chores books and cancel everything they don't like.

On the internet it is easy to come across as strongly one way or another. I'm definitely liberal on a lot of things, but also conservative on many others. I'm also liberal to a point, just as I am conservative to a point. Invalid Link Removed

Someone who worked at my previous job had a law degree, and the firm paid a salary near the equivalent of $22 an hour, but the staff were always expected to work overtime so the actual pay rate was closer to $15 an hour.

She went to school, got a prestigious qualification but was still barely managing.

Nuts. And you can't just 'get a better job', because every job has hundreds of applicants with the same quals. With bills to pay, you've just got to take what you can get and if you try negotiate a higher rate they'll just take someone else.

Sounds like they needed to make better effort to start their own independent law firm. How difficult is it to go online and provide your services at competitive costs and work out of your home? Without that middle man you can make alot more and save the clients money as well.

There are plenty solutions to these problems, or perhaps if you started at that $15.29 an hour job as an entry and hustled your ass off the company may deeply reward you in the future, or you take those skills to go independent. And maybe if people stopped taking these jobs at $15.29 you would put employers in a situation where they are forced to give out a greater entry level payment, but people give in....they love the salary when they get hired, next day bark and complain.
