It’s not so much enthusiasm for me as much as being realistic. These are the times we live in whether we like it or not, and the China virus is going to be right there with us whether we like it or not. No vaccine = more individual restrictions and it just might spare you from debilitating illness or worse.you are ok if i don't share your enthusiasm for these vaccines?
Oh, of course...they love to talk and keep the ball rolling. The longer the threats can be prolonged- the more opportunities Congress will have to propose “COVID relief bills” to finance their agendas.Just an update on covid variants... after the UK and South African strains, they are now talking about a new Brazil strain. Super contagious, getting better at dodging immunities, yada yada....
Yes, I was never particularly afraid of contracting the virus myself (I’m not afraid of death regardless), but I wasn’t a huge fan of potentially having lasting complications from even a mild to moderate illness. Nobody wants that! From my experience - you’re flat wrong man. The people who are having longterm effects from this are not just unhealthy people. Ive seen several people who are telling me they still dont feel right - exercise intolerance, palpitations, fatigue - months and months after they had recovered from the acute infection. Every single one of them that ive seen has been <40 years old (2 less than 25) and were non obese and had zero signs of metabolic disease.
I know thats a personal anecdote that I cant say for sure correlates with the overall population of covid “long haulers”, but that has just been my experience so far.
