What I said is that no elected official was in ANY real danger.
Unlike a lot of people, I try to avoid making up stories in my head and then believing they are real because I made them up. Seeing a guy with zip ties MAY indicate that they intended to take hostages, but it doesn't mean they absolutely did - just like I can and do walk into a store with a gun - but that doesn't mean I am going to murder someone.
I find it interesting that your "very violent" example consists of a large group of people yelling and punching glass doors...while police officers stood still and no one ever touched anyone or hurt a single person until a cop shot one of these "very violent" people. Was it violent? Sure. It was scary and out of control and ridiculous. Was it to the level of, "these guys are going to kill someone"?...I honestly, thankfully, don't know. Some of them may have intended such an action.
The beating of the officer is obviously wrong and not included in what I am referring to. I am just referring to how ridiculous it has become that we get fed these narratives that feed more narratives and have no basis in reality. They could have happened, thankfully they didn't. But lots of things could have happened and we just don't know.
But, as you say, out of all the people there I do believe there were some crazies that would have hurt someone. But, they never would have gotten to the politicians.. as has been said,, there were automatic weapons ready for a blood bath if needed and it only took a single bullet to stop it.. that doesn't sound like a reaction from a group of people who came prepared for fighting, taking hostages, etc. Either that or they are the weakest, dumbest fuarks in the country... or both.. it could be both..
I hope I explained what I meant the way I intended...
Hate to tell you, but Trump is not the cause of all that has happened. He is a symptom of it. Politicians lit this fire, and they stoke it. All of them. They should all take a hard look at themselves and what they are causing. Biden and Pelosi are two of the most divisive people - way worse than Trump. Trump has had one of the most successful foreign policies in the last 50 years and and Biden calls him a clown and incompetent. Pelosi talks about how important it is to help people, then goes home on vacation to eat her ice cream while people suffer, and now finds it more important to impeach a president with 9 days left in office and spend the beginning of the next term doing so, rather than prioritize things that matter.
Sure, Trump is inflammatory, but if he played it like he was going to pack it in and just give up - there would have been a real riot at the capital shortly after the elections with 5-10x as many people. A lot of people waited and hoped instead, because he was fighting, and they had time to cool off a little.
Is it "praise"....no because I am not 100% sure it was intentional, although with the government knowing things Trump may have known there were movements and he had to appease them to avoid things - and it all culminated with him giving a concession speech where he could say he exhausted every legal avenue. So who knows?
You reminded me of something else. A couple days ago they were writing articles about "another capitol officer has died" and making it sound like it was from the riots - but not disclosing the cause of death which right away made me think suicide. Turns out it was suicide.
I have two thoughts on this.
1. He is the one who shot the woman. We will see of the name of the person who shot her is ever released. My guess is it won't be if he killed himself later.
2. It was a guard who knew something and it was "suicide".
This tinfoil you sent me is extra thick, nice stuff.
