No I am saying that of the people that got it 99.7% of them survived.
OK, then you misplaced a decimal point and you think 100M people in the US have been infected. Still almost 1/3 the population, but much more believable if not true.
I say maybe 10% of reported deaths are from COVID. Most reported deaths are people that died WITH COVID.
Ok, so you think 30,000 people died of Covid - which requires a 99.97% death rate again to reach 100M infected people so far maybe you didn't misplace a decimal.
Or maybe you did misplace a decimal and you think only 10M people have had this disease so far and 99.7% survive?
I don’t believe 300k people died FROM the rona. I am guessing most died WITH the rona. Most died from poor life choices. The rona was just natures way of letting them know they **** the bed.
So nobody ever dies of alcohol intoxication? They die WITH alcohol intoxication? Because you know, they died of liver disease, electrolyte imbalances, heart attacks, etc. They made poor life choices.
Likewise, I guess we can find Purdue "not guilty" since no one ever died from opioids. They died WITH opioids.
I am a Trump supporter and if this is even remotely true I don't know why he didn't beat this drum at all. I mean, he took a huge hit for so many deaths, I guarantee, and reducing it to 30,000 would have been a big win for him and I am disappointed he wasn't on this.
But I think it just is wishful thinking. You can look at the excess deaths and determine that these weren't deaths that normally occur within a typical year and arrive at numbers that support the 300,000 from there.
There are 3 things I am absolute certain of when it comes to humans:
1. There are those who know how to count
2. There are those who cant
So.....That 99.97 number we used for for younger age groups, so partially my fault for being vague. I havent looked deeper into this though on how they came up with the numbers. Of course we all know its the seniors and most unfit that have the highest rates.
Fair enough, the younger population may have 1/10th the death rate, but even that 99.97% rate seems low. If you want to apply it to one small group I can understand - but overall it is much more than that.
And yeah, seniors have higher rates of death from Covid. And this also holds true for heart disease, flu deaths, and any number of diseases. So now no one dies from the flu; they die WITH the flu because they were going to die anyway. In which case, we just increased the relative death rate of Covid if we start using that logic.
The big issue in NY were the nursing home deaths and how King Cumho sent Covid-1984 positive patients and forced them into nursing homes. He blames he was only following Federal Guidelines, but I didnt see him following Federal Guidlines when it comes to gun control, not then, not now,, soooo
I agree with the handling issues. I'm for lockdowns, but it should be up to the individual to do what they have to do within their rights. In other words, self-imposed self-preservation. I think Trump did a MUCH better job balancing than he gets credit for. It is difficult to balance freedoms vs. Safety. Normally you can only pick one.
exactly my point...now that they know they can get away with shutdowns it will be easy for them to eventually order mandatory vaccines...after that who knows? but once they have this kind of power you can bet they will abuse it!!!
what happened to resist?
f'ing sheep
All for this questioning and vigilance. I would resist mandatory vaccines and house arrest type lockdowns, etc. At the same time, I wish individuals would take more responsibility for themselves, which is probably wishful thinking on my behalf but I still hope.
bullshyt....you always have a choice--may not be a nice choice but choice all the same...force is when your choices are limited to bad and worse!!!!
how about those restaurants choosing to stay open and being fined $1,000 a day and now they are out of business---they had a choice-eh? close and go out of business or stay open and be fined out of business---some choice, right?
I don't see that as use of force. Force is physically dominating someone - which is no choice. If I can dominate you, and I come and restrain you against your will, you have no choice. Just like prisoners do not choose to go to jail. They are restrained by force, against their will.
