Im my day to day experiences typical conservatives and mainstream Repulicrats are more giving than liberals and mainstream Demicans.
Attacking your core value wasnt my point, I just smell a massive con job and I think we all need to massively worry about it if we dont want more poverty down the road.
Fun fact....the war on poverty was launched by racist and JFK assassin LBJ. Up to that point poverty was actually on a steep decline. After the war on poverty was launched, trillions of dollars were spent and after 55 years it was proven to be a complete disaster.

This is one of the core issues I think you are suggesting...the government is not very good at running its programs. In fact, it does such a poor job as to be ineffective. When the early signs of failure show, their usual response is to spend more money - a waste.
This is why the private sector is so important. The incentive systems and consequences are set up much differently. If I have a government budget of $100,000 and get the job done with $90,000 - I get $90,000 next year. If I do it with $125,000 then my budget gets increased.
This, to me, is one of the core issues in all government programs. That and the fact that not a single dollar has ever been created by the government operations- they love to say how the private businesses benefit from the roads the government built but they totally forget that they built those roads on tax dollars taken from the private, capitalistic sector. We tend to demonize the private sector instead.
But every government system I have had the pleasure of interacting with has been a train wreck - USPS, DMV, Healthcare, all of them. Sure the private sector has some train wrecks too, and I stop going there. I am forced to go to the DMV and they now control my health so how do I walk from that?
10/10 insult. Just to be clear, you know I didnt put the site up, right?
I just thought these guys would appreciate a bit of a chuckle
Lol, it was a good chuckle and...I mean, let's be real here. I often wonder how many of us are on the spectrum, including myself. No shame in that. Haha
