As a brit, this is so foreign to me, people rarely ever talk or advertise who they vote for here, at most you might see the odd campaign sticker in a window around election time. The thought of someone being attacked would never occur to most here, you would be shocked if you got a dirty look because no one gets this partisan about politics, barring climate change and things of that nature but never over party allegiance. This is one trend i hope never crosses the Atlantic. Bidem repeatedly has stated that he wants to ban semi-automatic weapons - which means he is either CLUELESS about the subject matter, or he knows what he is up to and wants to take away everything except shotguns and revolvers. Although these two ideas are not mutually exclusive, it is probably a little bit of both with him, he has made statements which suggest the latter is his goal.
Yes! You know, it is funny how fast you can become a convert. In March I walked into a couple of gun stores looking for a gun, with no clue. One gun store even yelled at me a little and told me they were there to sell guns, not teach me about them - which I took as them being sick of answering the same questions 1000 times because so many of me were suddenly buying their first gun.

When I was in high school 91-95 at one point in gym class we did archery with compound bows. (True story, I hit a bullseye on my first shot and my gym teacher accused me of lying about never shooting before!)I remember when hunter education was taught in school. Yep we had archery, hunter education, welding, wood working, and auto tech classes. Girls learned to sew and cook. Unless they were butch then they were in the shop classes with the boys. Criminals (for the sake of this argument we will say black) mistreating and using brutal or deadly force against law enforcement is likely very high, even before all this pandemonium. It’s a good sign that the shootings of the 2 deputies the other night is receiving its rightful spotlight in the media as opposed to being swept under the rug. Of note, the suspect has been described as being a black man.
I visited Niagra about a month ago, incredible place everybody should go but the city is the most torn down and dangerous city in the entire state even with one of the nation’s landmark tourist sites, and that’s another blue area!!!!!!

People will argue that police officers should be trained professionals that are skilled in de-escalation. This may work in some of the lower risk encounters, but it’s not feasible or relevant in many cases.
It is much easier to believe the media than to take things with a grain of salt and look at the big picture and actual statistics. That takes a thought process that BLM supporters are just not willing to invest in.
