Elon Musk threatens to move Tesla headquarters out of California following extended shelter-in-place rules

New York (CNN Business)Tesla Invalid Link Removedagainst Alameda County, California, after local officials there refused to let the company reopen its Fremont factory.

In a series of tweets earlier Saturday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk also threatened to move the company's headquarters Invalid Link Removed or Invalid Link Removed, where shelter-in-place rules are less restrictive.

"Frankly, this is the final straw. Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately," Musk tweeted. Tesla did not respond to a request for comment on Saturday.

The automaker had planned to Invalid Link Removed to return to work by Friday, but was warned by the Alameda County Health Department in Invalid Link Removed on Friday that such a move would be violating the county's rules.

Nothing is more tormenting and terrifying to me that watching someone protest and not telling me wut the hell they are protesting about. Then I wish they would at least get up and shoot me and put an end to my misery. Say something dammit!

Well speaking during the national anthem would be disruptive and disrespectful, like the fat white dudes getting nachos and taking a leak during the song. The message of the kneeling protest has been clear from the beginning, but if people don't get it or choose to ignore the words of the protesters and instead believe the interpretation of others, that's on them.

New York Barber Fined For Cutting Hair in Back of Pickup Truck

Well, the guy was just trying to make a buck. Invalid Link Removed that a salon owner was ticketed for giving a haircut in the bed of his pickup truck. Video taken by a nosy neighbor surfaced which lead to the ticketing.

The shop owner can be seen wearing a mask and gloves. Now, he feels his Constitutional rights have been violated. The Freeport barber recently Invalid Link Removed

While his shop was considered non-essential, the owner says he just wants to stay afloat amid the Coronavirus shutdown. Do you feel he was right? Does he have the right to make a living? Should the bystander who took the video just should have minded their own business?

Freeport police issued him a ticket and warned him he could face misdemeanor charges for violating public health laws if it happens again. Police did not tell the Post how much he was fined for the violation.

lol...I was killing squirrels with a 22 rifle when I was 8. but I lived in the city and only got to hunt when we went to visit country relatives. my daughter and son in law bought a house with 15 acres attached with lots of woods, the son in law is a avid hunter...our freezers are full!!! actually he just harvested a really nice turkey yesterday.

that DP-12 shotgun is awesome!!!

I put it in my savings to help offset the 10 thousand plus Im probably going to have to pay for it over the future years whether I took it or not.

lol...trust me I aint never going anywhere close to that cesspool. I lived in the pi for seven years back in late 80s early 90's and used to visit manilla often...I would take the capital of what was then a impoverished third world country over nasty assed NYC everyday of week and twice on sundays-NYC sucks!!!

(CNN Business)Tesla (Invalid Link Removed) CEO Elon Musk escalated his standoff with county officials in California on Monday as he announced that the automaker would be "restarting production today against Alameda County rules."

The decision follows the executive's sharp Twitter outbursts in recent weeks objecting to state lockdown orders meant to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus. In a tweet on Monday, Musk said he would be at the factory, "on the line with everyone else."

"If anyone is arrested, he Invalid Link Removed, "I ask that it only be me."
