Got 3 boxes coming to me by Tuesday.
I just bought a box and ate 1 in my car. That flavor is the best tasting protein bar I have ever had. It’s only slightly better then his cookies n cream and toffee crunch, but it is better in my opinion. You’re going to love it.

Yeah, I know this is going to be epic. However I think the upcoming PB Cookie Dough bar might end up being even better.

I wish the Outright bars fit my macros better because they are indeed tasty on the couple I have had and that new flavor is highly enticing. Just a bit too much of a meal replacement type bar than what I typically go for calories, carb, and protein-wise. They need a "lean" bar with about 200 calories and another 5 grams of protein in there, a few grams less sugar, and it would be golden.

The macros do not bother me too much, but the sugar content is concerning in my opinion.

But damn these are a nice tasty treat! They are easy on the stomach unlike a lot of bars out there.

The sugar content is all-natural (honey or maple syrup) for the OG/Vegan/Sunflower
nothing to be worried over.

3 new products coming from Nutrabio

hate seeing companies trying to profit off the situation like this by putting stuff out with labels like these... none of these products will help this situation. just a shiitty, underhanded way of selling more garbage

if you want to help the situation, turn your production facilities or r&d onto to something that will actually help. make soap. make sanitizer. make masks. not fcking vitamins and calling them "breathe"

From Mark G the CEO of Nutrabio

This immune support supp, called First Response, is not for sale, it’s a project we done specifically to help police, firefighters and EMS and their families that are out there every day putting their lives on the line for all of us. And can’t forget the front line nurses... what amazing heroes. There is a shortage of important immune ingredients, so they can’t even purchase them if they wanted to. So we’re going to jump in and make sure we can help out as many as we can with what we do best. I’m really proud of the team for the effort they are putting into this community project and we hope to expand across the country.

I respect them. They’re not making some hyperbolic claims, calling it a panacea, etc. Can it be argued that this is opportunistic? Sure, but there’s nothing wrong with being opportunistic if it can actually help people, which it can. The key is to be honest and not exaggerate claims or lead people to believe it will do things it can’t, which could in theory lead to people making bad decisions or taking risks. But they don’t seem to be doing that, so it’s all good.

Actually, the research indicates that several of those products (I haven't seen the ingredient labels of these products, so I am only basing my response on the front of the label), can be immensely helpful. Not only has zinc been shown to provide an additive effect (in real-world trials) to the Hydroxychloriquine-Azithromycin combo, but anything which bolsters immune defense (especially in ways specific to the Corona virus) will not only help stave off the debilitating effects of the Corona ovirus, but will lower one's risk of contracting it in the first place.

Don't listen to the mainstream media, which says things like Zinc, Vitamin D or Vitamin C don't help with the corona virus. When a corporate giant like themedia, or even the Gov., says something like "Zinc hasn't been shown to help treat the Corona Virus", you are receiveing a heaping pile of deceptive bullshit. When you hear comments like that, what they are actually saying is "there haven't been any studies which have diectly examined the effect of (insert product here) on the Corona virus". Well, no ****. The Corona virus is brand new. So, of course there haven't been any studies demonstrating that.

However, this does NOT mean that there isn't an abundance of evidence which shows that certain products may help fight off the Corona virus. For example, we know that steroids will improve the performance of someone competing in a strongman event, but since there haven't actually been any studies done which examine the effect of AAS on strongman performance, the media (or anyone else) could technically claim that steroids have not been shown to improve strongman performance.

Now, anyone here, if they heard something like that, woud immediately reject it...because we know better. Well, it's the same with the claims you hear from the Media (and certain people in the Gov.) regarding the Corona virus. Just like we don't need a study to show us that steroids improve strongman performance, neither do we need a study which directly examines the effect of natural products on the Corona virus in order to draw conclusions. Just as the evidence available to us regarding AAS (both scientific and anecdotal) allows us to answer questions that haven't been directly addressed in clinical studies, so to can we conclude that certain natural products are able to help us treat the Corona virus.

By abandoning your trust in the media, learning to read through the lines and educating yourself on these matters, you will be much less likely to be fooled by the type of preposterous claims that many Americas fall for every singe day.

There is a reason why the Gov. and media purposely attempts to disaude citizens from using these natural products...and it is called "Big Pharma". They are by FAR the largest lobbying group in the world. They have paid BILLIONS of dollars to politicians, media and other corporate interests in order to buy their support. They've had more influence in Wwashington and the media than any other industry in history.

The bottom line is that we know for a 100% fact that many nutraceuticals help bolster the immune system in ways that would directly benefit those suffering with the Corona virus. In fact, many natural products interact with the specific receptor systems (and other pathways) through which the corona virus functions.

At 100mg for the whole ORAC Blend it can't have to much caffeine, but I would hope for none. It seams to me they are putting caffeine in everything !

Hopefully they will actually put in a decent dose of D3 instead of what is in the original pak which is minuscule for athletes.
Hopefully, but if not at least it’ll always be an exceptionally cheap tiny adjunct anyway. Anything less than 5,000iu and I have to add it for sure anyway. Been running 10k+ typically for a decade now.

Vit. D is such a tough one to determine correct dosage if you don’t monitor it regularly on blood tests. Some people don’t need any at all, some need 10k, some just need some amount seasonally, etc. Lot of variables at play.

with all the other stuff that has zinc....??? how much zinc can you take before it becomes toxic?
No idea, but probably more than you think for a short spell, like many things. N=1 here, but supplemented with 80mg daily in addition to a heavy beef diet for 8 weeks last PCT and organ and blood values all in range afterwards.

Absolutely. Consider taking an office job when you used to work outside - blood is the only way to know levels.

Considering the tolerable upper limit is 40mg daily. 🤷‍♂️

Definitely wouldn't look to take these regularly and the extra zinc in some things makes me have to double check adding things together.

There are quite a few studies above that and it does seem to not be common seeing people with issues, but considering the upper tolerable limit I wouldn't go above that year round (I try to stick with 20-25mg most of the year in supplemental form).

The National Institutes of Health considers 40 mg of zinc a day to be the upper limit dose for adults and 4 mg of zinc a day for infants under age 6 months

Signs of too much zinc include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach cramps, diarrhea, and headaches. When people take too much zinc for a long time, they sometimes have problems such as low copper levels, lower immunity, and low levels of HDL cholesterol (the “good” cholesterol)

So basically if you're taking too much zinc you might actually start to think you have corona.
