Yeah it’s not something I’d be taking to gain a lot of size. It seems that there must be benefits aside from hardening when you are super lean
I think the SHBG is gonna be the kicker there. Having been on for a bit it is probably climbing which could limit growth.

I don’t think he’s super concerned with more size since we are are going for masters men’s physique. Not that I’m big or anything, but keeping the present condition for the start of prep while filling out muscle bellies, insulin growth mast and 600 test will do that just fine while keeping lean. Insulin changes all the rules. Just watch, it’s insane.

Depends on the show man... Masters can be the hardest competition in some shows. Also the MP guys are still getting pretty big. I think he may be doing it because you got in your own head about losing time and he is adjusting for your peace of mind. An already stressed competitor who feels they are behind the 8 ball is not likely going to have a great or enjoyable prep. No need for the added stress when your show was already at the early stages of the season and could easily be pushed back.

I dont think we are anywhere near ready.

I would only consider it if my blood sugar got out of range due to mk/gh.

It’s quite stressful and hard to manage. I’m glad to be using humalog as it’s a much smaller window than Humulin-R and will work great with gh. This last 6 months working with Tommy and dialing in diet, I’ll be in a better position to use it while actually staying lean.

Oh i wouldnt touch the stuff unless i was competing.
It took a lot to actually start using it but once you give it a whirl, let myself go a little hypo, pound some dextrose, and feel better in 5 minutes, it took some of the scariness out of it, knowing it’s always fixable. The only potentially dangerous consequences would be having it in your system and being somewhere were you CANT get some sugar in you, or going to sleep while it’s still active. So if you’re 110% prepared, it’s not super scary. It’s the unknown part of hypo that people are truly scared of, understandably too. Once you do it once or twice, you just take the precautions with no exceptions ever, and do your thing

yeah I can see that. SD sent me into a hypo episode Saturday night. First really tired, then hot, then pouring sweat and hands trembling. Ate some candy and I was fine within a couple minutes. And from what I understand that’s exactly what insulin is like. So I guess I’m less scared of it now than I was before.

Ya that’s verbatim it right there. As long as you’re not blasting 16iu, that’s the worst that would happen.

Ok. So.
Starting today:
600 test/week
4iu GH on workout days only 2am/2pwo
5iu humalog pwo no adjustment to macros. (Best believe I’ll have dextrose tabs and gummies on me though, but for 5ius I’m not even remotely concerned)
Mast P/Cardarine starting next week with new training plan.

This guy is so unpredictable. Now he wants to go reverse diet for a while, then a long prep, and do a July show. Lean recomping starting this week with mast, slin, gh, and doubling my test dose. Plus cardarine and a little Proviron. This should be fun regardless with these compounds on deck.
Here the last guy he trained that won Master MP in Mesa, AZ at the Whitney Jones Classic 2019 (same show I’ll be doing 2020) He won easily. Here’s him a week out. View attachment 189766
Dude you got that guy beat already, and look at all the good training and prep ahead of you. Looks like your trainer will start using your pics for his advertising. You’ll kill it man!

I agree, 5 ius is nothing to be concerned about. My slin run got up to 20 iu..but I think at one point I shared my protocol with you. My carb intake during the 8 hour window was through the roof. I ran novalin R. Jesus did I pack on size. I hit 340 pretty quickly. My suggestion is to consume a carb rich protein rich drink during training to shuttle nutrients into the muscle at the most important time.

I’m afraid I’m not privy to that information, just following orders. It could just be to offset some of the insulin spillage and keep fat gain minimal.

My understanding of growth is on the limited side, I’m doing a lot more research now that I’m using it though.
So, I don’t know if I can attribute it to both or one or the other, but I was down to 224.2 last Thursday and after doubling my test and 3 days of growth, I ballooned up to 237, which is much more water than I would normally put on from most drugs in just a few short days. Also, the combo of site injecting Tb/BPC plus growth and my forearm strain pain was cut in half fast. Don’t know if it’s all 3 or just the growth helping out. I know it’s not drastic, but I think I’m going to just absorb the expense and stay on year round. Generic is only $200 a month and I need some anti aging in my life these days.

I like the idea of staying on for longer periods of time. I’ll be out of mk677 soon so I’ll be switching over to just gh for quite a while. Then probably just go back and forth with short little breaks as needed

For both of you if you are going to stay on either make sure to keep an eye on fasting blood glucose levels and A1C.

Very much this. If A1C starts creeping, you need to take a break.
Yes that’s why I was suggesting breaks in between. I certainly didn’t mean indefinitely. I do have a glucose meter

Are you running a 5 day on 2 day off protocol (or something like that) with the gh or just running it ed? Just curious???

Well technically 5/2 since I workout 5 days a week but only day 3 and day 6 off it/No GH, and possibly since I don’t use insulin on off days too and they work best together. I’m tempted to invest in a year’s worth and run 2iu at night on off days though. I feel like I could benefit from it all around. I’m quite baffled with this water weight though, I even preemptively upped my AI prior to bumping up my test and I’ve got about 12-14lbs if additional water on me. Could just be the upped test, Insulin and the GH all together since jus test doesn’t give me this much water. I was always on Trest back when I used insulin in 2016 so I don’t recall the water weight since I had a good bit of bloat on me back then.

Both GH and Slin should be adding intracellular water retention; don’t hit your estrogen too hard or you will be limiting the big IGF1 increase benefits from GH. If the scale goes up but you look alright, don’t worry about the numbers my man.

Meh, I’m bad with water. Right to lower abs and lower chest and it looks awful. But this combo is leaving me pumped and full 24/7. Just gonna forget about conditioning for a few months and trust the aggressive prep coming up. It’ll all come off. Decided to keep aromasin 12.5 eod and just keep ralox daily at 30mg. The water is helping me anyways.

I always thought GH was an expensive waste, but I can say just after a week it’s the missing piece. I’m full of water but I am seeing great results after just one week. Super full, and the gains with aas and insulin are amazing, after every workout, it’s like your pump doesn’t leave you. I love the stuff and I’m sold 100% on it.

I mean a lot of the Slin fullness will leave when you stop it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not facilitating better longterm growth - or that you can’t frequently have it on board. Trust the coach! You are looking good man.

So my NY Resolution is to juggle my responsibilities better and maintain b-a-l-a-n-c-e. I really struggle with this and I feel like when I excel in one area, several others suffer. I have enough time to devote to all areas of my life and do well in each area.

Balance means it all works out in the end, but don’t kid yourself into thinking priorities or energy doesn’t ebb and flow. When you compete, energy shifts to that focus. When you are pushing on a big project at work, don’t expect lifting to shine its brightest. If you are remodeling your house...you get it. Anyone who tells you they are always giving equal amounts of energy to training, work, family, self-development, etc is a liar. Or else all those things are extremely mediocre at the time. You think the guys building the first rocket to make it to the moon or a Mr. Olympia is living balanced at the time?

Definitely not. And I think that’s why (besides an obvious lack of genetics) I wouldn’t even be silly enough to try and pursue any kind of actual bodybuilding over a local old man’s men’s physique show. I’m just not willing to short change my education or relationships. I always look at videos of advanced athletes and wonder how they can maintain a healthy relationship at all, let alone raise kids. And I’m not even considering all the travel and competition, just the lifestyle alone. How bout 12 weeks out and 2 hour chest/back session is lined up, and your kid has a performance at school, or your anniversary is coming up and you both work late and your wife wants to go to a fondue place and you’re bringing your little Tupperware of food and need to leave by 9pm so you can get enough sleep, or you can’t dial in your ancillary and your dick doesn’t work for 3 weeks. I don’t know about you guys, but this shyt really doesn’t fly for me, forget about being in the last 6 courses of your degree program and have to choose between failing a class or your workout. I don’t have a choice, my life still needs to progress during and long after this little hobby has ran its course. There’s no choice: this shyt takes a backseat more often than not to my daily life. I guess my only goal is to not ignore obvious opportunities to do what my coach is asking me to do when I can. Like anything else, I thought there would be another opportunity right around the corner to train this weekend and sure enough there wasn’t. So I wasn’t able to get to the gym Fri-Sun because I had all 4 kids and no Sam(coast guard drill weekend) to basically take it in the ass with the house/food/kids/chores while I ditch out for 1.5 hours and hit the gym.. And then the one hour I had on my lunch break Saturday, I ended up taking a nap because I had stayed up Friday to complete another assignment. I’m literally still furious with myself that I didnt budget my time and figure out a way shorthanded to get a quick workout in. There is time for me to do all these things and not suck at all of them, I just have to want it bad enough and seize the opportunities when they’re there, but you’re right, I’m not lying to myself and thinking I’m giving any one of them my very best. Just don’t want to fail at any one of them. Not a pity party right now either. I’m extremely blessed to be in a situation where 1. I have essentially a free bachelors and masters lined up through my employer 2. Have a great relationship with my kids and pretty much unlimited time with them via a decent trust/relationship with their mother 3. The resources to afford a coach and insane amount of supplements that goes into doing a little competition 4. A great job that does not interfere with training/eating goals, I can even workout on a lunch break.

Rant over.
Thanks Hyde

Any upcoming pics?
Thursday my friend. I’ve got ALOT of water so it’s hard since last week was my best front shot to date but I’ll try, my legs are getting better though.
This may be just me and possibly going from 300-500 test(not likely) but I hold a good 10lbs more water on GH. Like an easy 10lbs in the AM too. I thought slin too but I literally haven’t pinned it in 5 days and the water is steady as I’ve pinned 2ius every night growth, 4ius on workout days. I know it’s a long term drug and I shouldn’t notice anything yet, Bullshyt, I’m running this stuff the rest of my life on and off. It’s awesome and I never thought it would be.

Was about to say, it ain't competition time yet so just ride out the process and carry some water. People worry to much about looking good now sometimes which can get in the way of looking great later.

That 10 lbs is nothing with your muscle mass if looking full you are gonna look big and lean. We know the process don't let not looking as tight get into your head.

Always good to hear stuff from you bro. Reassurance is helpful with this. I’m excited for it though and just want to be the best that I can be. I don’t even try to compare myself to anyone impressive in this sport. I’m ok with that. Just want to look really solid in 5 months.

Couldn’t even make a fist the first half of today. Playing with AI and lowering sodium. Enjoying the strength increase.
Mast was started Sunday at 125 eod
1 week on test @ 600
Worked up to 5iu slin on workout days. Overdid it with carbs the first few workouts just out of respect for it. But it’s 5iu’s so not much to be scared of. Gh every day at bedtime 2iu, 2iu post workout 5 days a week. Love the stuff, exceeded my expectations in one weeks time.
BLOATED 237 lbs. up from 224 last week.
