Looks like we should be all bottled up by Wednesday. I'll have some overnighted to cover orders, so you can get started ASAP, and before Christmas.

Presale will be ending tonight.

The new version doesn’t have capsaicin correct? Capsaicin isn’t listed on the label but is in the ingredients list on the product page.

Product page hasn't been updated yet. Correct, no capsaicin.

In for 6 bottles. The previous version was great, but the capsaicin was rough on my stomach. Looking forward to giving the new version a whirl this spring

I was able to make a pretty incredible Capsaicin solution, and I've taken 50mg and had zero side effects....but that's in a water solution.

Haven't figured out what to do with it.

Whats the difference in the new Epitome? I have two bottles of the old and was wondering if I should upgrade.

Another question. How important was the capsaicin? Any negatives with taking it out? Added anything in its place? Well thats 3 questions lol. I have gerd but for some reason can tolerate the capsaicin in DCP quite well. Just wondering if I should add some to my stack if capsaicin has a lot of benefit. I need every metabolism boost I can get!!!

In which case you might want to ask dsade about his supersaturated liquid capsaicin concoction.

Matt has been working on some capsaicin concoctions that are incredible. I haven't tried the liquid stuff, but he had a compound that allowed me to take up to 200 mg of capsaicin with no discomfort. I think it was just too complicated and unreliable to produce.

DCP was brutal on me sometimes with the capsaicin...and I tolerate it fairly well. He had a strong dose in there.

You should see my latest monstrosity. I'm terrified to even try it. I got about 3 grams into 75ml, using a hydroxypropyl-cyclodextrin in an alcohol and CARBONATED water carrier, closed up in a sealed container for 2 weeks.

The concept/hypothesis was to use the mechanical force of the shaken carbonated water to exert pressure against the hydrophobic Capsaicin, and drive it deep (and with 100 efficiency) into the CD cavity.

What I ended up with is a terrifying almost solid "foam" and complete dissolution into regular water (after I evaporated off the original water/alcohol).

Still to scared to try it. But yeah, I did get a VERY good solution using a different method with around a solid 50-60mg/ml water solution. Doing a shelf test to see if I need preservative or not, but it'll be an option.

There will be a little less thermogenic effect, but at the same time I've made two improvements. The new Hibiscus Extract is an extemely potent PPAR-delta agonist. As well, DCP is gonna be the first to get the Mucoadhesive treatment.

Mucoadhesive - A mucoadhesive is something which, when it hits the bile-rich environment (as opposed to highly acidic) of the small intestine, forms a sticky matrix. This matrix not only encases ALL of the less water soluble ingredients (most of the ingredients from DCP are either ethanol or dichloromethane extracts, which SUCK at absorbing), but sticks to the walls of the intestines while it slowly transits through the GI Tract. The result is that our active ingredients are in contact with the intestinal cells for a ,much longer period, and absorption is enhanced markedly.

Chitosan. Chitosan is a de-acetylated form of Chitin, which is a protein that comprises things like shrimp shells*. When it's deacetylated to Chitosan, it forms a very nice free flowing powder. When it hits the acetic acid, secreted by gut bacteria, it is reacetylated into Chitin, which is a BEAUTIFUL mucoadhesive with bioactive properties of its own.

The end result is a ,much more potent formula in terms of PPAR activation - meaning enhanced liver fatty acid oxidation (From PPAR Alpha activation) and a much more enhanced PPAR-delta activation (enhanced fatty acid oxidation in muscle, heart, etc) as well as a noticeable boost in endurance.

*there is zero evidence that Chitin/Chitosan are allergens. We have put a Shellfish allergy warning on the label for liability, but I was unable to find any case studies on allergic reactions to Chitosan. As always, consult your physician.

This is a important study from the standpoint of glucose control and fatty acid oxidation, especially for the overweight.

NOTE: Solvent choice is critical to isolate the active compound in any extract.

Can you discuss the Epitome upgrade or not until near release? You explained you cant feel Epitome but I really love it. I do calorie restriction/low carb during the weekdays 800 to 1200 and maintenance/slightly above during weekend. It keeps the weight coming off. Before Epitome it was a lot slower.

Noted I also use DCP and Brite but started with Epitome. I'm 39 and lost 43 pounds this year. Took some time off from diet multiple times because of injury and gained a little back. If anyone hasnt tried it I recommend it for ongoing fat loss.
Like I said I only consume 800 to 1200 during weekdays and no slow down in weight loss while using Epitome.
Back to orginally question. Care to discuss Epitome upgrade or gotta wait unfortunately. Great products

One of the main ingredients in Epitome is the Birch Bark - more specifically Betulinic Acid. Oral absorption is HORRIBLE for many reasons - main one being that it resists being passively absorbed and transits VERY rapidly through the gut. It also has incredibly crappy solubility.

I was able to perfect the process for making a cocrystal with Vitamin C which improves solubility, and therefore absorption, 27-fold.

ALso see the above post re: Mucoadhesive. Using Chitosan again for this purpose, which will also help absorption of the Orthsiphon alcohol extract.

I'm also swapping out the Queen Bee Acid for Gypenosides, which in addition to still potently activating AMPK, has other (blood sugar, BRITE fat conversion) beneficial properties.

Finally, I am adding in Stem Bromelain - which is a potent PDE-3b inhibitor (something I've been itching to tackle since 2005). PDE-3b is a phosphodiesterase enzyme activated by Insulin (among other things) that is responsible for crippling Lipolysis during periods of elevated insulin (post meal, etc.). The combination of the Gypenosides and Bromelain will increase fat burning rate dramatically, most especially in the context of what Epitome is designed for - specifically, those more in the overweight category.

Anyway, for this first batch I only have the resources to "spike" the birch bark extract with the BA/AA cocrystals. Future batches will be using pure cocrystals as we are able to scale up. I'm SO extremely excited for this upgrade, and will be able to keep the price close to the same.

Could this mucoadhesive effect affect other things we’re taking?

Or would it effect things only taken at the same time if so?
Only if you take it at the same time, and even then probably not much. I experimented around to find the perfect amount of Chitosan to be able to enhance the absorption of the rest of the formula, but the "matrix" will travel through the gut as kind of a unit.

THe surface area of the gut is enough to accomodate DCP and other supplements/meds.

Has anyone else tried the new DCP update yet? I’m keto, but I think it’s taking my blood sugar really low; haven’t verified with blood monitor yet but I will when I can. Also making me hungry oddly enough.

I never really looked much into Evomuse before, but I like this guy (the owner) a lot. He is my kind of formulator. Most company owners have little to nothing to do with the formulation of their products...and if they do, they just copy what everyone else is doing. You have to really love what you do (rather than just care about money) to put this kind of time and thought into making something unique and effective. He has my respect.

You know, I got 6 bottles the other day. They came late afternoon so I took 4 pills as my first dose around dinner time. I wound up having to go do some stuff and spent about 2 hours before I could eat and I was getting hangry. I didn't confirm either, but at the time I really felt my blood sugar had tanked pretty hard. I find this hard to believe because no other product I have tried, including large doses of berberine and even metformin itself, has even come close to making my blood sugar tank.

Off course low blood sugar does increase hunger, so not unusual.

I am perceiving an increase in body temp. I haven't confirmed with a thermometer, but my face at times feels like it is burning up.

It also MAY be reducing my need for sleep it seems. I normally need a solid 8 hours to function. This could be just coincidence or stress, but I have been waking up earlier and earlier even when I go to bed later over the past 4 days. Trending toward 6-6.5 hours of sleep a night and not noticing any deficits during the day from it.

I have had some Christmas cheating so I haven't had the blood sugar thing again yet, but I will be paying attention now. I may get my meter and test.

Matt puts his heart and soul into this stuff. He is a good person and good friend and he is definately doing this out of passion and is an anomaly in the industry.

When I was losing weight a few years ago (about 140 pounds or so), I was originally attracted to the unique angles he came up with and that got me to try his products. They were unlike anything else.

I then realized eventually that his fat burners were the only fat burners I really bought .ore than once, with a few exceptions. It is too bad consumers are trained to value marketing and so many of Matt's products are so misunderstood.

I have been on this for 9 days. 2 days after starting, I came down with a severe cold. Still, I've noticed some strange things that I didn't expect given my prior runs with BMP.

My appetite is really changed. I can be REALLY hungry, and then a small amount of food will make me really full. For instance, I woke up this morning starving. I had to go do some stuff so I grabbed a One bar as I got into the car. I ate half of it and had to put it down and take a break. No joke. I normally eat whatever until it's gone without thinking. The idea of not finishing something isn't in my makeup. A half of a One bar...crazy. I'm not sure if this is the DCP and I suspect one of Matt's new ingredients may have caused this - or if it is my cold - but it seems to be growing as I use it more.

I've dropped 2-3 pounds this week, while eating a crappy diet and not being able to workout in the past week. But I've been eating junk, but a little bit at a time not big huge meals.

Based on the responses of fairly quick efficacy, I placed an order for a single bottle. I have a wrestler that is dropping a weight class. Only needs to lose a little over a kilo and would like to make that weight for a meet on the 17th. We obviously are used to just cutting water weight but his body fat is fairly high (for a wrestler) at 8.9% so that is obviously preferred. Look forward to receiving the order.

Edit: receiving, not recovering ;-)
