Unanswered Matthersby log: Old man on a mission

You ever think about just getting surgery and getting the gland removed?

They can’t remove every ounce of glandular tissue without having divots in your chest. Small amounts need to stay behind to create contour. Although being so lean as Matthersby makes it easier to leave less.

I found a good plastic surgeon who will do it for 3k...I'm considering it

That’s a bargain. Mine was 6k and don’t regret it at all, even with plenty of gyno remaining. Worth every penny. Going from being uncomfortable in a shirt to confident at the beach is priceless.

Or maybe just try to get my insurance to cover it...but then I dont know if I will trust the surgeon to not cause my chest to look deformed

Pay for who you trust most. It’s an investment in your mental health.

Yup gland and tissue/liposuction

The gland/tissue excision doesn’t hurt much at all after, but the lipectomy will have you sore bad for a couple weeks. Do it, but just telling you to be ready.

i would say thats a good set on SLDL. do you do that with straps belts ect? or raw

Last detail: for anyone planning gyno surgery, plan a month out of the gym and as much of that off a physical job as possible. I had just quit my physical job so that was no issue, but I started training legs like 8 days after and I believe it greatly contributed to a hematoma on one pec (harmless, but made me continue to need to wear hiding loose clothes for months while it dissolved away). Most of the feedback I have since read advises a real month, but I was younger and pig-headed.

Update: BPC/TB has 90% resolved a rather painful and nagging forearm/tennis elbow strain. I’d recommend it to anyone at this point with what I’ve seen it do for healing while still training at full capacity.

Good job.....looks like your legs are growing as well. I’m tall too, and have strong legs, but because I have long legs, I have to work extra hard to get them to catch up with the rest.

TY bro. They are moving along but probably not fast enough for March. Tommy is still saying CP is an option but I feel like we are leaning toward Masters MP which he thinks I would destroy. The conditioning should be everything for that because I’m probably fine with enough size for MP without any issues. I’d almost rather be the biggest guy up there and and that won’t happen on Classic. It’s a competitive division with guys, Like my trainer, competing, who would just destroy me in every aspect.
 
Shoot for the CP and you’ll crush the MP. That way if you end up not doing the CP you could always do it the next year and focus on lagging areas.
 
Go for classic physique man...you said you wanted to make it a highlight of your lifting career.

But i agree that doing men's first may be a good idea, but still shooting for classic physique eventually.
 
I’m not really thrilled about MP but I have to be honest with myself about how muscled my tall frame is and do the best with what I’ve got.

That’s my hopes. This guy won’t put in anything that I won’t make top 3. I’ve been watching his athletes and they do great even if he has to change up their division or push back a comp a few months

Thanks bro. I will probably take the easier win in March and see about putting on the leg and upper back size. And bicep peak which I have zero, for the next year and then maybe???

I've been really impressed how you've gotten this lean and been able to consistently grow. Your really putting on good size. Youd definitely crush it in MP like that

I’m really trying to convince myself it’ll be good enough. My frame is odd for this so I’m just gonna let Tommy do his thing and get me looking good.
 
Plus if you wanted to save the cp for down the road youd have some good experience to lean on. I get a little anxious thinking about getting on stage next to some of the freakier dudes... no matter what I would look like
 
Have you ever dirty bulked on gear to see how much size you could put on?

I feel like sometimes "clean bulking" is spinning the wheels..

Hah i think with gh in the mix or a heavy mix of peptides (combining ghrp and ghrh) one could get away with a higher surplus. Personally i am going to do just that my next cycle, keeping macros as usual, roughly 50/40/10 c/p/f.

I’ve got to 257 roughly and wasn’t really fat there but it was really really tough. I don’t like putting on fat anymore though so it’s hard to say which is better. With diet really dialed in though, I’ve been able to gain 20; even 30 Pounds and stay lean. I think if I had a year I could get to a lean 250. It would be tough just in the eating department alone. I’m on 4000 cals right now and losing weight between check ins
 
Finally trying to catch up on all threads. Back is jacked and front is shredded my man. Very evident the progress you are making with this trainer. Ever try deads from a 1-2” deficit? Standing in a bumper plate or mats really gets more ham activation from the movement.

Cycles over. After dropping the midweek 600 Carb refeed day, I ended at 227.7 just 5lbs shy of my starting weight at substantially less body fat and everything being way bigger and more defined. I’ve rarely cared and my trainer DEFINITELY doesn’t care about the scale, just progress in the mirror and consistency with diet.
We are taking 3 weeks off gear and Deloading. Maybe 4.
Then I believe it’s 14 weeks out and time to really work.
We will be using GH, Humalog or Apidra (fastest acting insulin I can find) Dienolone, Anavar, and possibly Winnie Mast and Primo. And most likely my new favorite Proviron for sure .
The goal is to continue to put some lbm on and continue losing bf.

Thanks brother. Im psyched my coach is not as conservative as I thought regarding gear. I’m more psyched about slin than anything else. I’ve wanted to show everyone here what rapid slin can do with quality food. Gains like I’ve never seen before.

Alright. Been cruising for a few days and won’t even hit a month before we gear back up again.
I bought a Humalog pen from a local source(a girl that needed a quick $40 for meth I found on Craigslist) I’ve got a box of pen needles being shipped to me.
I put in my order for 50ml Mast Prop 125/ml, about 3 months of GH, proviron and a couple months worth of Cardarine all shipping today
This will be my first go with GH or any peptide for that matter other than BPC/TB. We are going to attempt to do the impossible and add some more lbm while in a slight deficit. This should start getting good.

I think you'll put a lot more lbm with that mix, fairly easy. Keep pushing man, it only gets more fun!
