Yeah we do
By your logic the United states govt still owns GM
Yes they do, they own just about all of us.

If bernie pushed through Medicare for all...the govt would then own the means of production for healthcare, a bail out does not work that way
Smh, ok
They're redistributing wealth. What is owned?
You say that because of what the DoED did to you.
I say it because it's not true and I dont subscribe to that way of thinking
I say it because it's not true and I dont subscribe to that way of thinking
Umm...the whole healthcare industry?
Does the government punish you for productivity? Or you have a loophole?
That's your definition of ownership? Haha
Does the govt force me to be productive in the first place?
That's not at all what has been proposed. Drug companies would still be private. Hospitals would still be private. You are drawing a line between bailouts not being socialism, but calling socialized healthcare socialism based on ownership alone. What specifically would be owned by the government?
Does the government punish you for productivity? Or you have a loophole?
Good luck with that one, lol!
I answered that question....health care
There would be no private owned health care insurance companies, it would all be run by the govt..so they run that industry without competition, they also get to dictate the prices they pay to these privately owned hospitals..similar to what Medicare does now
The govt would effectively be the only show in town and own the health care industry like I said
So you're using a different form of the word "own" in this instance, but a literal one in the example of bailouts. Cool.
Ok but you didnt answer the question
The govt would effectively be the only show in town and own the health care industry like I said
When your born you already are in debt over $40,000 just for accepting to be alive the very first day! If only you understood your choices before you make that exit!
Nope same definition
One example the govt doesnt own a company
Other example, the companies are no longer there and the govt owns the whole industry
So you're using a different form of the word "own" in this instance, but a literal one in the example of bailouts. Cool.
K..dodging it
The govt doesnt own you, that's just a lazy way of conspiracy style thinking
Private drug companies. Private hospitals. Privately run clinics. However you have to justify it to yourself.
Good luck not paying your slave masters a portion of your blood, sweat and tears. Your gonna have their militants knocking at your door at gunpoint asking you where there money is.
I'll be fine thank you
Merriam webster is my own dictionary now? AwesomeI think I know him from browsing the official DoED forums, he was talking about how he started publishing his very own dictionary.
Merriam webster is my own dictionary now? Awesome
It's cool tho...the govt is evil, they own us, all leaders should be locked up for war crimes hahaha get that goofy ass YouTube conspiracy way of thinking out of here
Your now adhomening your way out of this. Im glad I have woken you.
the govt is evil, they own us,
all leaders should be locked up for war crimes
get that goofy ass YouTube conspiracy way of thinking out of here
Smh are you purposely being ignorant on the topic? Generally curious
=your born 10s of thousands in debt by default, stealing at gunpoint the fruits of people's labor and penalizing productive activities.
=the war in Iraq and weapons of mass destruction, the overthrow of the Ukrainian government, creating, training and funding terrorists groups with Osama Bin-Laden as their leader, overthrowing the President of Iran, Vietnam war and agent orange, invasion of Cambodia, Iran Contra, Operation Northwoods, destroying Lybia, etc......
So excuse me, what conspiracies? Is that the way the DoED conditioned you to think?
Hahahahaha
Yeah yeah we know...govt bad..lock up everyone blah blah blah
Is the doed the only response you have because most of what we are discussing isnt even in the same realm
I've asked you repeatedly to clarify and you keep answering "health care", but then only focus on Sanders' wet dream of socialized healthcare. Even in that there would be private health care businesses. The government doesn't own anything in that scenario. It's simply redistribution of wealth to privately owned businesses. It's the same net effect as bailouts.
Me? Hahaha ok budNo, you watch and read too much fake news. haha![]()
Wrong...again
As currently written we wouldnt have private insurance companies...the only exception is things like plastic surgery... being on a board like this we know a lot of insurance companies dont even consider that "healthcare" and more so cosmetic
So his medicare for all plan isnt something like canada where you have public and private insurance, it is much different
If someone says health care, what do you think? Not sure what you need clarity on....insurance companies gone..govt steps in and plays the role of insurance companies...minus competition and the govt dictating what they will pay for services
There could still be a strong market for health insurance even if healthcare was completely runs healthcare. I would certainly still consider it at the right price.
There wont be a market if Medicare for all doesnt let it exist
There 100% absolutely would be. Why not? Do you even know what insurance is for?
Why not? Because Medicare for all abolishes all private health care
With a small opening for plastic surgery style supplements
You dont get to pick between your company insurance or medicare or keep both...you no longer get that option
This is why it's considered a socialist idea
Reading some of these posts is such a self esteem boost. Like going to hick town Carney...where I live..and walking by the games and listening to the methed out white trash all call me big guy and winner. And observing all the white trash with their beaters on an no teeth with fat girlfriends and fat dirty kids...I suddenly feel very good about myself. They are probably Trump's focuse for support...I just laugh. But thats like half of the US.
I cant believe you dont even know what insurance is.
Insurance measures a risk and puts a market cost on it.
So lets say you want to be insured that the government will give you timely treatment or the proper treatment. Medicare bureaucracy can delay the treatment either through slow payment or force your doctor to either find an alternative such as a generic or different treatment in order to delay premium care. Insurance can get your back for that. Or what if you cant get care because the system is broke, or some bureaucrat looks to make cuts an put you in a hospital basement to rot away to death just like the VA did to our vets?
Insurance isnt supposed to be a "healthcare system" anyways, that happened starting with managed care under Nixon that became nothing but a collaborated ponzi scheme.
The way it ought to be is patient pays doctor and insurance is there just in case something really bad happens. As it is today real proper health insurance doesnt exist. With government taking over complete management of health insurance through medicate this would re-open the market for real health insurance to make a come back.
Health care is health care, insurance is something different by definition and its authentic intent so the market would absolutely be here if we had medicare for all.
I suggest you read the Medicare for all proposal

Trash is trash..black, brown, yellow, or white. Its unfortunate, but it is true. Like I said..Im not a liberal.
You want me to read a proposal? What proposal? What is it exactly you want to point out as I honestly dont think I am going to go through that at the moment. More than likely, I wont be voting for these big government goblins anyways.
Some people are. Fact. In my opinion.
I suggest you read the Medicare for all proposal
A majority of ppl think of health care as their private insurance company...and those are gone under this plan
So essentially the insurance that is there just in case...isnt there because it no longer exists
