Cordyceps may great for a lot of people and I feel that it is behind a lot of the benefits of Peak 02 but I think that Peak 02 needs to be looked at as a whole and not as just a random mushroom blend if that makes sense. The patent holders obviously felt like the specific combination made sense or a reason or they wouldn't have added the others because Cordyceps is one of, if not the least expensive ingredient in the combination.

From feedback, it seems that a lot of people don't notice a huge difference between a good quality Cordyceps and Peak 02 but that some people do. All things considered equal, I like the studies and data behind Peak 02 and the potential outside of the gym benefits of the other ones in Peak 02.
I was going to type something up but I think that sums up my position better than I could have said.

This is what I take for PeakO2. On Amazon it’s 20$ but I take 3 scoops of it and I definitely noticed a big difference in stamina. I’m gonna give Cordy a shot from ND.

If you had to recommend just one MTS product which one would you go with to prove cordyceps worth to someone that hasn’t tried it before?

I am hoping to get more experiences shared in this thread.
It totally depends on usage, training duration, etc. Taking cordygen 5 is good for all day use. Nano2 is good for acute benefits, from the first dose.

Peak02 for me has been ehhh...ok

It's been awhile but cordyceps by themselves really impressed me

Yeah $60 for a months supply just ain’t gonna do it for me
Well it’s pre workout only and it was just to try it out. I definitely felt like it worked though, especially doing interval running after a upper body volume workout.

Anyone have any other feedback on the other mushrooms in the Peak02 blend? For me they have done nothing for gym performance.

I don't have much experience with cordyceps...but I have a crazy idea that is MAY have a fat burning effect in a way.

If you do try the ND cordyceps 10:1 extract please post your thoughts on it in here.
I picked up some from ND this afternoon. I’ll let you know. Should I start at 1g and go up from there?

At 3 scoops this product is probably pretty damn good for endurance. The tub will go quick though.
I actually started using this without any stims and felt like my workout went well after I got going. I’m to dependent on stims for motivation and I’d like to get away from that and this definitely seemed to help.

Nice man!

I did a tub of the powdered 10:1 extract. I went with 1 gram immediately. The exercise endurance is very noticeable at that dose.

We are discussing the mushroom cordyceps in general not a specific product.

MTS has quality cordyceps so IMO you can’t go wrong with any of their cordyceps products. You may need higher doses with some of them. Personally I have only used their Cordygen V02 Ultra and it was good. I believe Poison mentioned the Nano02 has a more acute effect.

Have you used any of them before?

Just took 4g Peak02 pre workout and it was fantastic
What did you notice (versus the standard 2g dose)? I could definitely use an alternative pre-workout that doesn't include simulants since I workout in the evenings.

I got a little boost in endurance and in libido from peak O2, the scivaction extend that got some peak o2 list cordyceps at 1 gram in the supplement panel in Canada

Higher level of endurance. Not like how a stimulant acts of course; just felt like I wasn’t tiring as quickly and recovering between sets much quicker. Had to cap the workout at 1hr, but certainly could’ve gone longer. I’m typically spent at 50 mins - 1hr

Good feedback and thanks for posting it. That’s how an adequate dose of cordyceps feels for me in a nutshell.

Started out with 1g with the first one. Not much if anything. Made it to 3g before I felt like my normal VO2 supplement. Now the ND was a different story. 1g of this stuff blew away my VO2. IMO you are correct with your hunch that Cordy is the driver in VO2. Now I haven’t tried any of the other shrooms solo but I don’t believe I need to.

Yeah I need to pick up that ND cordyceps, have enjoyed my Xtend Elite as of late though.

No stomach issues at all. Also something I left out is the taste between the two was different. The ND had more bland taste. Meaning I couldn’t really nail down something it tastes like. While the Wild Shroom has almost a coffee like taste to it. I felt like it had a flavor added to it.

I haven’t used peakO2 on its own, but I love quake 10.0. I did this semi “CrossFit” conditioning course (made by a power/oly trainer to address conditioning usually not present in powerlifting programs) and I switched between OL reign and quake 10.0, and noticed I had better conditioning workouts off quake, even though reign had more stims. But I see bulk peakO2 on Nutraplanet for cheap, so I’ve been looking at buying and dosing it daily.

For standalone Cordyceps, reishi, and lions mane: I’ve used RawRevelations brand and loved them all. Can’t say I had any gym performance increases off reishi or LM, but definitely felt the difference with Cordyceps. My second run was adding it to the quake and felt like my progress went quicker than most others in that 6 week program.

Typically, I lift 5x5 or peak for doubles or triples, but occasionally I’ll throw in 8x5s for squats. But during that program, I was hitting PRs every week and have since kept some sort of daily conditioning. Long story short, I love the shrooms 😂

Good feedback brother. I have had the same experience with the mushrooms you mentioned. I notice obvious gym performance increases from cordyceps and none with lions mane and Reishi.

2 caps nan02 are equal to 12gr whole herb, and I wouldn't bet nd's is equal quality. Plus, you get actigin with nan02.

I have not tried any MST products but I cannot imagine their Cordy being stronger than the ND.

Thanks for bringing this into the discussion. I wasn’t aware of this mice study. I only know the mental health studies on it.

Lions mane is the mushroom in the Peak02 blend that I have the most experience with (2. Cordyceps 3. Reishi 4. Shiitake 5. Turkey Tail). My experience has been that lions mane adds zero for muscle endurance for me. I have tried many different brands, extracts, dosage amounts and dosing schemes.

I do think it can be beneficial for neuro protection and for improving memory just not in the endurance department.

Lions mane is pretty popular now. Anyone care to share their experience with lions mane as it pertains to exercise endurance/muscle endurance?

It also needs to be noted that in the standard Peak02 dose (2 grams of 6 mushrooms) you are not getting anywhere close to the studied dose of lions mane.

Then it appears they took the idea of having high beta glucan content (immune support and adaptogenic potential for hard training athletes) and the L-ergothioneine content. All the mushrooms included have varying amounts and contribute in part to this.

So again maybe the Cordyceps is the only thing working, but I bet there’s some additive effects of each versus each on their own.

I can’t say I am convinced that applies here.

The way I see it is Peak02 is powered by cordyceps with some immune boosting properties from the other mushrooms in it. So that is a good thing.

Add some additional cordyceps to your Peak02 standard dose or just increase the Peak02 dose to get improved exercise endurance from having enough of the cordyceps.

This is what I was gonna do. Add Cordy to my Peak02. One thing I forgot to add was I just started BMP this week. Not sure how they will act together once BMP kicks in.

Lol, mst has the best cordyceps around I'd be shocked if ND even matched it.

12gr is 12,000mg.
You seem sensitive towards MST even though no one ITT has said anything negative about them. Everything ok at home?
