Nationalism is as well. I've seen this story enough times though to know where to stand.
kinda like if you are against the wall you are for open borders-eh?

as you said, just because you are against the wall doesn't mean you are for open borders, correct?
Yep, it's a false equivalence that suggests those are the only two options. I'm not saying if you're against vigilante justice, then you're for nationalism or vice versa as there are plenty of other options.

As a general rule, if a group constantly talks about violence online and then continually gets the crap kicked out of them when they show up in public, I find it funny. Not arguing that it's ethical, nice, or that it doesn't make me a bastard, but I still think it's funny.

I called 1-800-Fun-nyNo? and they said it was quite funny indeed. They laughed.

More bad news guys. There is a Betsy Ross flag that apparently is has been waving in the wind at San Francisco’s city hall since the 60’s. Looks like we lost that city to extreme racism.

You saying they are using it for racist purposes? Not even close to relevance to selling shoes with the flag that would be used by racists. If you can't see it, nobody can spoon feed it to you.

These two images are far more accurate.

And I agree with you completely. A shoe with a flag on it could be the final step for a full racist take over! We must stop them!

glad you clarified this...as a new opponent of capital punishment I don't have to look very hard to find instances of wrongful death due to vigilante justice.

Oh they're far from innocent. All the major media outlets will divide and put people's lives at risk for ratings. But even CNN can't make up anything as good as Trump saying we took over the airports during the Revolutionary War
biden says Russian election interference wouldn't have happened on his and barracks watch.....

kamalla harris announces plan for $100 billion dollars for blacks to own homes...ok, say this happens, what happens when they can't pay for repairs? new roofs are expensive so are furnaces a/c....then we have property taxes...the same issues always come up, just like the savings and loan scandal of giving loans to people without the means to repay.

you can't just give people a house without the means to maintain it....trust me, homeownership is a great thing, but it aint cheap.

it isn't a liberal/conservative issue for me, it came down to the possibility of a state sponsored execution being a wrongful death...can't support this possibility even though I feel many heinous crimes are well deserved of capital punishment.

maintaining a house is equally if not more expensive than buying a house...if you are not continuously making improvements a house will start to go in disrepair fairly quickly...my reasoning is, if you can't afford the payments then more than likely upkeep and property taxes are going to be a awesome burden.

I equate this to the savings and loan fiasco....

She's proposing that minorities in certain redlined areas can apply for up to $25k for down payments and closing costs. Nobody is handing out free houses. I don't personally support the plan, but my first thought isn't that they're going to let it all go to disrepair.

Expect to see this quote from Trump in 2002 showing up again in the news now that his buddy Jeffrey Epstein has been indicted for trafficking minors. "I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."

in the context of the guy being indicted for trafficking minors that sounds awful....as a older guy saying he likes beautiful women and many are on the younger side not so bad...ever hear of trophy wives and cougars?

So if you had a friend that was accused of trafficking minors, you would make a comment like that in public about him preferring woman on the younger side? Would you say it if he recruited one of those minors from a private club that you owned? Epstein's accusations go back to before when Trump made this statement. There's also an accusation by a woman who was 15 when she was recruited into sex trafficking while working at Mar-A-Lago.

Bill Clinton was also friends with Epstein and there were conspiracy theories about how he was involved, but those same people seem to be shutting their mouths and making excuses now that Trump is being connected.

I think you are giving Trump’s people relations too much credit. He is very much like a child. Anyone he is trying to work with is the most amazing person in the world, and anyone he dislikes at all gets a nickname.

If he knew anything of this that is surely fucked up though. No ifs ands or buts about it.

Oh, I know he does, but he also needs to be held responsible for what comes out of his mouth (I am fully aware no politicians ever are). Another interesting link is here with Alexander Acosta who got Epstein a plea deal and is now part of the Trump administration https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-labor-sec-alexander-acosta-helped-epstein-plea-deal-2019-7

A guy like Epstein probably has so many ties all across high power positions...do we have more details or proof of what was happening? Also do we have proof of who knew/participated?

I just don’t like throwing out guilt without knowing everything.

No sympathy for what happens to anyone who took part in something like what is alleged here.

I totally agree, but don't think I'd jump to defend him either or begin making excuses (you're not doing either of those).

I make no excuses for adults messing with minors-I am very much against this ....older ADULTS being attracted to younger ADULTS I have no issue with, this is what I was saying-maybe you misinterpreted my meaning.

Do you mean something else because that makes no sense?
the program would target residents in red-lined communities areas the home owners loan corporation has dissuaded lenders from investing in....I took this to mean impoverished communities.

the savings and loan fiasco was about giving loans to those unable to repay.

The savings and loan crisis was fraud and bad speculation on the part of the banks and junks bonds and all that fun stuff. I think you're thinking of the subprime mortgage crisis. I get what you're saying, but I think we just disagree on who can and can't afford a home.

lol...i'm coming from the perspective of someone who owned a house in 2008 and suddenly couldn't afford it...long story, my friend.....

but let me just say that for someone living from paycheck to paycheck there are a lot of risks involved with homeownership.

I agree entirely. If there is evidence that implicate anyone in this incredible injustice for those underage girls that could have been concluded with Acosta back in Florida and saved more girls from another monster billionaire with influence. I'm all for it.

Acosta should resign.
AG Barr should recuse himself. Again.

Let the investigation be thorough and complete this time.

He's been a known pedophile for a long time, so I'm guessing Clinton is at least smart enough to not have his picture taken with him. Even Trump's pictures are only a few and seem to be from quite a while ago, so I don't really buy any conspiracy of some plot to remove them from internet searches. Republicans were all over the flight records of Clinton on Epstein's jet to his island when Trump was running for President, but then distanced themselves when the connection with Trump became more clear.

Oh I bet they were. One thing that I hate about politics and most people is they sacrifice morals/standards for people wearing their team jersey.

Example in the 90’s was Bill was disgusting for what he did. Democrats okay with it. Now Trump is disgusting for what he has done/said to democrats but now republicans don’t care.

Clinton’s just always seem like insanely powerful people to me that can do anything with no consequence. Maybe history will show the same for most presidents, and I just think of them since I was growing up then. I don’t know.

And water is wet lol. Now pretend you walked into the bank to apply for a loan to buy a house and they said "no, houses are expensive and we don't think you'll be able to afford upkeep and stuff like that". Why should you not get a loan and somebody three blocks over with the same finances, but a different race, does? Again, I don't agree with Harris's plan, but redlining was a very real thing.

Agreed. To me, talking about women you've slept with pales in comparison to getting a blowjob in the White House lol. And I don't see how Hillary can go after all the women that Bill slept with and then try and be a role model for young women in the time of #metoo, but then I have my own biases against them both.

A lot of the power comes with money and connections. Just look at the facts coming out about Epstein and what he got away with, even when caught. Winning a presidency adds to the power, but you're right that they were already quite powerful when they got to that step.
