Donald Trump running for president

At the moment I dont think they would kill him, it would create a martyr. More importantly I just dont think there is a strategic advantage in doing so, plus they can interrogate him for years and by that I dont necessarily mean by force.
khashoggi is still fresh in the minds of many....

Sorry for the late response, but was stuck doing last minute work crap. He is, but people commit "suicide" all the time.
after khashoggi blew up on the Saudi's the british have got to be too smart to try that....maybe before khashoggi but I don't see it now. also the spy the Russians 'allegedly' poisoned in Britain is recent also.

It might have blown up in the "Saudi's" face but what really changed? Do they really care?

what changed is it taught them to be more careful next time...the british are different than Saudis, imo….they are much more concerned with public opinion.

Careful with what next time? They are in the middle of the worst humanitarian crisis and blowing up babies by the minute and starving them to death by the minute....I dont understand why they made a big deal about out of that geezer in the first place other than to distract people from real issues....just like they are using this entire Russiagate bullcrap, lol. Really if Saudi's have the worlds record for most beheadings the past 5 years in modern history....Kashogi was just business as usual, although not to confuse, I do completely condemning what they did with that reporter.

And why the hell are you ignoring your other boxing thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL!

Just a dislocation, he will be fine. He really looked fantastic on Friday.

going to look for a replay of the fight...it was on regular espn?

ESPN+ which you would have to subscribe to. I was able to access it with other methods. If I was to subcribe Id rather do DAZN but watching the fights is no problem for me, just cant watch them live.

Last week’s arrest of Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange by the British government on a US extradition order is an attack on all of us. It is an attack on the US Constitution. It is an attack on the free press. It is an attack on free speech. It is an attack on our right to know what our government is doing with our money in our name. Julian Assange is every bit as much a political prisoner as was Cardinal Mindszenty in Hungary or Nelson Mandela in South Africa.

They, and so many more, were imprisoned because they told the truth about their governments.

Repressive governments do not want their citizens to know that they are up to so they insist on controlling the media. We are taught, at the same time, that we have a free press whose job it is to uncover the corruption in our system so that we can demand our political leaders make some changes or face unemployment. That, we are told, is what makes us different from the totalitarian.

The arrest of Assange is a canary in a coal mine to warn us that something is very wrong with our system.

What’s wrong? The US mainstream media always seems to do the bidding of the US government. That is why they rushed to confirm Washington’s claim that the Assange indictment was not in any way about journalism. It was only about hacking government computers!

As the New York Times said in an editorial, sounding like a mouthpiece of the US government, Julian Assange committed “an indisputable crime.” But was it? As actual journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote last week, what Julian Assange did in 2010, for which he is facing extradition to the US, is no different from what New York Times and other journalists do every day! He attempted to help Chelsea Manning shield his identity as he blew the whistle on US government crimes to a publisher. The information in question included a video showing US military personnel participating in and cheering the murder of Iraqi civilians. Why is it criminal for us to know this?

The difference is that what Assange and Manning did embarrassed the US government, which was lying to us that it was “liberating” Iraq and Afghanistan when it was actually doing the opposite. Mainstream journalists publish “leaks” that help bolster the neocon or other vested narratives of the different factions of the US government. That’s why the US media wants to see Assange in prison, or worse: he upset their apple cart.

The lesson is clear: when you bolster the government's narrative you are a “brave journalist.” When you expose corruption in government you are a criminal. Do we really want to live in a country where it is illegal to learn that our government is engaged in criminal acts? I thought we had an obligation as an engaged citizenry to hold our government accountable!

As long as Julian Assange is in prison, we are all in prison. When the government has the power to tell us what we we allowed to see, hear, and know, we no longer live in a free society. Julian Assange will be extradited to the US and he will have dozens of charges piled on. They want him to disappear so that the next Assange will think twice before informing us of our government’s crimes. Are we going to let them steal our freedom?

I'll be there in two weeks and can't imagine what it will even look like now. Thankfully I saw it about 15 years ago, but agree that it will never be the same.

Very shocking people even had the chance to enjoy it the past 100 years. Wish I had a chance to visit it, Id even go to Mass just for the experience.

The blood from the current Genocide in Yemen has now officially taken full ownership in Dump's hands. But Assange is evil because he showed the world US's war crimes in Iraq!

Trump vetoes Yemen War Powers Resolution, his 2nd veto since taking office

I always thought Dobbs was an interesting figure especially from his CiaNN days,

Anyways thats another topic but I ran into this....Dobbs cites that arson was ruled out from the Notre Dame fire within hours and thinks it may have been a political decision. France has had 875 instances of vandalism in their Catholic Churches last year. Just an interesting thought.

Full article or skip link to below full Dobbs video.

when my wife and I were 1st watching the fire we both agreed that 'if' it were terrorism the French government would cover it up.

liberal group bails out man accused of domestic abuse...he then went home and killed his wife.

It doesnt have to be "terrorism" but basic vandalism by means of arson. Im hoping its not and that it was just some accident from the renovation project like loose cord or something but I dunno if they will ever know for sure.

@ax1 google-WikiLeaks spacestations and ufo's.

Interesting....I havent gone into deep depths of WikiLeaks due to time constraints and having other interests but I have no doubts that there is life outer space and that certain governments have tech 50 years ahead of its time and possibly beyond that if they have their hands on alien tech.

I just looked it up and looks like some Hitlery emails revealed the space wars...but Ive been telling people that on this forum years before Wikileaks got to it, LOL!!!! Philip Shnieder was the man! And we are talking about the human/alien wars that have and probably are still going on underground today.

AAHHHHHH The Mulleshyt Report is out, everybody stop, drop and cover!!!!

Here is what I think about the report.

Ok so anyways...

So it was the fault of the non-profit? Seems to me like the judge shouldn't have set the bail as low or at all.

Sounds like a failure of the justice system, not the "liberal" non-profit. Where did you hear about this? I haven't seen a source yet that describes the non-profit as "liberal". Bet I can guess!

the guy had multiple convictions for assault and drug crimes....he had originally been accused of striking her face and injuring her ear and cheekbone...

the name of the group who did this is 'st.louis bail project' if you show me it's a conservative group I will be happy to eat crow.
