Many may not know that Kevin’s family has a deep history of type 2 diabetes.

After seeing a few BG readings upon waking and around meals the levels were too high for an optimal range to push higher carbs. It would only result in fat gain and increase his chances of a higher risk of diabetes.

We are going to allocate the timing of his carbs a lot more precise on workout and off days to help lower his BG levels and still grow in a lean state. The mirror will continue to change in his favor but there has to be small steps taken to make sure his health is in priority.

Nice, a little carb timing to get the insulin sensitivity, and metabolic flexibility back. I have to keep more of my carbs around my workouts.

Cracked this open this morning, watermelon flavor. This bad boy is packed with a total of 9 essential bcaa/eaas. The first initial taste was dam! It has a good strong watermelon flavor. The after taste wasn't as strong. All good in my hood, of course I got a good deal on it and it has what I need in it.

Crazy workout this morning in 50 minutes.* Today's challenge was getting them 60lb dbs from the knees to the shoulders for military db press. Good thing I did them first.
Got a strong 10 hours of sleep last night. I read last week that the beat rest your body can have is when you go to sleep and don't wake up until your body wakes you. Ie: no alarm clock etc etc....
Well we all know that's hard to do cause of work etc...but I did it last night into this morning.* Didn't wake up until 830an, dare I mention to my beautiful wife. ....

Off to eat and shower.* Then getting the bikes and atvs out today. Hope all a safe and productive sunday....

The biggest odd thing I noticed was people riding in and through mud but remaining perfectly clean!

Too funny man, I don't know what the hell my youngest boy was thinking yesterday. Shorts in January riding, riding in the mud. He played hard for about 3 hours, but when that sun went down....that was it.

We got venison, crushed red pepper, mustard, ketchup, and some type of Asian bread crumbs. 385 degrees for 28 mins

First time I used the baking method. I usually use a George Foreman for venison. They turned out fantastic!!!

Wait a minute this is AWESOME!!!! Did you say you put the mustard and ketchup into the meat as if it were the marinade? How simple is that! So easy I never even considered something like that.

Yes sir, throw everything in the bowl and hand mix it, make your patties. It's either the ketchup/mustard or eggs. Otherwise ground venison will just fall apart from being so dry.

May have to give this a shot with some other patties, or make a "hamburger loaf"...

Now I do this, although not eating venison. I would but the wife has no interest in game food. Doesn't like the taste, and can't get over the idea that it is Bambi. LOL

Hell I will eat a german shepard if you put enough seasoning on it. Meat is meat, if it tastes good I don't care what animal it came from.
 
My wife says the exact same thing. She has no idea how the food chain works when it comes to hunting. I have 13 acres of prime white tail hunting. My boys and I have plots year around for deer. We shoot big bucks. She doesn't mind that, but doesn't like us shooting doe. She doesn't understand, them big horned up full of test bucks don't want no 8 year old fraggly thing....they want 3 or 4 year old ripe doe. Gotta knock the old doe down. She won't eat burgers, straps, or steak. She will if it's in tacos or spaghetti, but she would rather me not tell her.

Peppers are also great for this. Green peppers or hot peppers work well.
 
soak some flavored croutons in egg and a little avocado oil over night and mix them in the venison!
then add onion and your seasoning! bam. no gamey taste.
