So about gainz...how’s your food intake been yesterday and today? Are you on track to accomplish your goal and get hyoooooge?

I’m noticing a trend of huge amounts of calories on work days(also insulin days) when I get home in the evenings especially. On my days off when I’m running around a lot, not so much. Still walking around over 230-232, so still a 10lb increase but I’m dirtying it up even more. More sugars and fats, easily getting 300 grams protein a day. Just need more and more food.

Naw, I played it too safe. Lot of misinformation on Lantus available online. The more experienced guys say its useless under 50-70iu’s. And then some are saying start at 10ius. Way too low I feel. I could fast and not see one smidge of hypo on 10-20.

Yeah, thats what im saying. I know guys doing 80 to 100 of Lantus...pretty hard to go hypo since its like a steady drip for 24 hours. With humulin r, i got up to 26 and felt fine..probably not for everyone...but for me, i was fine.

Agreed . I’d be lying if I said filling up that slinpin to the halfway point didn’t scare the shyt outta me though
 
So you just found a way to keep growing - make a special effort on days off work to have more portable calories around to help hit your numbers. Your needs don’t change on days off because your thyroid has no days off.

Trail mix, peanuts, soda, jerky, pop tarts all travel well, and literally any cost-effective restaurant is your oyster. Lil Sleasars is only $6 with tax for a hot pizza on the go.
 
When i would bulk, it wasnt unusual for me to put down 8 dollar burgers while on the go. All the grease makes pooping easy...lol

I am plagued with the same thing my dad has always experienced where I don’t work up any kind of appetite no matter how much of a busybody I am on my weekends off. Last night after maybe eating some eggs and bacon, bagels, and full fat Greek yogurts, I had to shove down 4000 calories from 630 to 1030. Woke up pretty full still
 
Have you tried Invalid Link Removed? They're likely a bit more expensive than whatever standard granola/cereal bars you're eating but most granola bars are about 100 calories each. The Kind protein bars are 250 cals each, with a good ratio of pro/fats/carbs. Natural, whole food ingredients means it'll probably be easier on your body in the long run. Absolutely when Frys has them on sale, I snag a big box. The shyt generic I buy is like 18 bars for $3.39 and same 100 cals but I’ll always buy organic when the price is good.
I spent $170 last week on just chicken and beef for the next week or so my budget is hurting on food.

I do my best to try and eat healthy but when I'm roaming through the grocery aisles and I see a box of bars on sale for $2, for sure I'm going to grab a bunch. Not the healthiest food choice but it's hard not to like the convenience and the price.
 
If you want a little extra calories instead of chicken breast grab thighs, season them dudes and bake em!

Psh, my go to before bed is..
Steel cut oats (mainly for the extra fiber) if you want something that doesn’t sit long, grits. Although, the cashew butter slows digestion some...

I hit my protein requirements by the time I drink my shake post workout, and have a boat load of carbs and some fats left at the end of the day...

Hey, i found protein bars at Big Lots for 35cents a bar. 600 calories, 55 protein, 30 carbs. I got a ton of them...i bought all they had. At walmart the same bar is 3.50 a bar. Check out big lots if you have them down there.

We do! And also Smart and Final. I get honey roasted peanuts, some protein bars with a shytload of cals in them, and sometimes jerky and lasagna. Oh ya, my 4lb bag of gummy worms comes from there too.

235 today. 13lbs up in 23 days. Gotta keep eating.

For that cheap though, I may just venture a little further on my lunch break to the nearest. Cause that’s cheaper than Smart n Final.

I’d never have gains if I wasn’t able to eat so much at night. I loved IF when my goals were completely different since I literally have no real hunger prior to 5pm.

Last night 4 of the 6000 cals I ate was from 7-10. That late night time is often catch up for me.

^ Anything with brown sugar is good in my books.

I’ve been adding white sugar to my peanut butter to eat at night for the extra calories, and crushing 2-3 chocolate granola bars after any meal. I can always make room for something sweet no matter how full I am and the sugar really does help me digest better.

ACV is really helping me digest faster and excrete quicker. I’m adding sauerkraut this next week and another few shots of ACV while at work so 4x a day minimum. I gotta find more ways to get more and more calories. All the ideas here have been great.
Probably gonna start having ice cream at work and at home twice a day for more cals.

It's got to be weird going so high dose to what your used to with a fast acting.
On the upside you have hypo experience with faster acting so your aware of what happens and how to deal with it. Once you start pushing doses up it could be worth carrying a heap of gummies. I would rather spend a day being a gummy pounding sweat drenched drool machine than dead.

I know hypo very well. Very distinct feeling of shakiness and clammy skin, pouring sweat and extreme hunger. It comes on quick too with fast insulin. I’m almost convinced you’d have to pin an entire ml and be fasting to see anything close to that kind of hypo with Lantus. Doesn’t mean I’ll be any less safe about it. I’ve rarely gone up more than a few IU’s at a time. And as I approach 50iu’s I’m gonna start keeping gummies in the car also. It’s so slow though, I’m betting I’d even have to time to get off the freeway, pull up to a store and buy a sugary drink. But why take chances?

The grass is so not greener here brother.. I feel like I have 6 days of shyts that are overdue. Sometimes I stress that it’s been 2 hours already and I’m still so full, I don’t think I can put anymore food in me without vomiting. I have to use 2 pillows since I can’t be anywhere near flat so when I burp up acid and peanut butter, I won’t choke in my sleep. I look pregnant from how stuffed I am constantly.

Cutting is so much easier, I melt fat off with a little T3 and practically no cardio. Maybe I’m just being a bytch but screw it, I still have 35 more pounds to go.

Lantus at 48iu’s today.

Not too familiar with that but I remember hearing gw is amazing for cholesterol . Don’t quote me
 
Your lipids are great; if total is 103-15 good that means your bad ldl is under 88. Triglycerides are also great. Mine are always great too but with all the orals my lipids are usually trash.

On my recent all-dry, no-estro, cortisol-crushing cycle my lipids went up to 240s with a similarly low HDL. Yours is dope.

HDL is just going to be bad on steroids.

Ok brotha. I got a question here. I know this isn’t the healthiest idea. But if I can get my HDL up and RBC’s are ok, what’s to stop me from just changing compounds and blasting absent orals of course? Just challenging the protocol. I know I sound like a junkie, but I have a big goal and I’d be fine with cruising for a few months before I start cutting drugs in 2019. Not a long term thing, just a monster blast for the rest the year. Orals of course with time on = time off for liver recovery.

Once i was pinning myself in right glute and trying to push the plunger down and my whole right side...lat..abs..shoulder..went into a full fledged cramp. I had to let go of the pin and then the cramp wouldnt go away. When it subsided, i tried reaching around to push the plunger down and pull it out and start to cramp again. So im standing in my kitchen..butt naked...pounding water..with a 3ml pin sticking out of my ass..half full of gear..and my girl and her 10 year old son walk through the door. Lol...true story. She knows what i do, but her kid is probably scared for life.

Am I the only one that uses a mirror so I dont HAVE to twist up like a pretzel to pin glutes?
