So operation went smoothly, sore as hell today though. Will soon be wrapping up this thread. May post on it from time to time some miscellaneous stuff but if I come back proper I'll probably start some kind of new "getting back on the horse" thread. It's been great being part of this forum and I'm not going anywhere (literally) so will be reading and commenting here and there. Cheers for support and general interest in my cycle etc. Peace out.

Hey. PM me anytime. I’ve had 3 hernia surgeries. The third was considered a 1/100,000 likely to happen. I’ve been back in the gym many times shortly after but squats and dead’s, maxing bench is out for a while. Let me know if you have any questions and the Docs are feeding you bs playing it safe for their insurance.
 
So I'm still here. Just updating on my post surgery recovery. Doing fine. Did no training at all for 3 weeks and ate random crap so still weighed about 184 lbs but looked more skinny fat. Smaller arms, shoulder, chest and back and bit of a belly.

I've started some dumbell work now but nothing involving legs (nothing new there) or back. Diets getting back on track and currently 182 lbs but already looking improved.

Running ostarine 25mg per day and this will stay the same for another 8 weeks or so. I am going on holiday to Spain in October so don't want to inturupt a cycle in mid flow. I'll start something when I get back. Not gonna bother pct for the osta (crazy I know) but I will take a couple of weeks off. I did consider squeezing in an aggressive cycle of 4 to 6 weeks then pcting before I go but not worth it given I can't realistically (or safely) work the larger muscle groups at the moment.
 
So here I am almost 6 weeks post op. Still taking ostarine 25mg per day and sr9009 (got for the wife but she doesn't want to use it). Easing into workouts and getting itchy supplement feet. So I'm looking at yk11, possibly rad 140. Then I'm like trest and halodrol then I'm looking at anavar and winstrol.

Then I smacked myself around the head and used the money to order a barbell and 10kg plates instead. I figure since I workout at home the ability to do deadlifts, squats and barbell rows will benefit me far more greatly than more temporary anabolic fixes....

.... I'll run the trest and halodrol in a month or two ;)
 
Cool, ordered 2 10kg plates to go with my barbell. Tracked delivery says the box weighs 18.6kg... Maybe they will weigh more when I take them out of the box.

Huh... Isnt the barbell supposed to be 20kg normally? And then another 20 on top that in plates? Lol
 
And its only 10 kilos because its not an Olympic bar, all my other weight plates are standard fit so didn't want to mix with Olympic. Still a solid bar not hollow though and can take up to 330lbs so enough for me at the moment. When I can do 20rep squats with that I'll upgrade to Olympic.

I have a goal/reward for my birthday next year to buy an Olympic set.

I hate standard BB and weights lol after being on olympic for so long it just feels weird. Ill just keep my gym membership til i can afford a good stash of olympic weights a DL bar and a good power bar and power rack. Ive priced it online and can get a decent set up going for a couple grand. Until then ill just keep paying my $35 a month

If your building your home gym then start with Olympic.
I did a rush secondhand buy to get my boy started when he wanted to(nice basic set for cheap)....so now that I lift alone I have a goal if by march I'm still lifting I'm buying myself n Olympic set.

A proper Olympic set would be the dream. I would recommend getting whatever you can afford. If you can't afford a gym membership and saving up is delaying you fulfilling your bodybuilding dreams then just take what you can get.

My "gym" is basically in the same room as my kids board games, all my games consoles, my guitars and my movies collection. It's also the same room my in laws sleep in when they come to stay. I always train alone and no one that sees my weights would even know what an Olympic set up was. If I can get 20kg standard vinyl plates for £15 I'm gonna do this over paying £80 plus per plate for top branded ones. At the end of the day your just paying for heavy objects to pick up.

Don't get it twisted though if I was minted I would be in a house with a room dedicated to gym equipment and spend like no tomorrow. (totally jealous of some of the set ups on here).
 
Just to update I'm still rehabing myself post op. It's been like 10 weeks or so since my hernia and I've started incorporating deadlifts and squats to my routine. Nothing too crazy, dedlifting 80kg for 4 sets of 12 followed by 55kg squats for sets of twelve also (don't have a squat rack so playing the game of lifting the bar to my shoulders which is a pretty dangerous game to play to be honest. It's a fairly light weight but after the deads trying to lift the bar back over my head after 12 reps is a bit crazy).

Still on 25mg osta just now. Started feeling run down recently so am taking 25mg clomid Ed too then next week will stop the osta, run clomid 50 Ed then 25 Ed then all being well im off to Spain. Been osta for 10 weeks (will be 11) when I stop so may take a hefty break after that to get some time off. Haven't decided yet. Possibly go the vector/kingslayer route or at the most maybe a light andro cycle. Or I may just say screw it and to the trest/halodrol I've been thinking about for a while.
 
So I'm sitting by the pool on the last day in ibiza. Its been fantastic. Looks like I may have to do a slight cut/recomp when I get back. Damn all you can eat buffets night and day.

I don't understand it, I did a carb cycling diet. 6 donuts and pastries with breakfast, 4 cakes with lunch and 3 ice creams with dinner day one. Then only 4 donuts, 2 cakes and 1 ice cream day two, 2 donuts, 1 cake and trifle day three then repeat. Surely I should be ripped. I kept up my protein with burgers, hotdogs and all I can eat fish. I just don't get it.
 
Decided to run a natty recomp. Give all my receptors a well earned break. I have decided to call it "the magical mystery stack" but I'm also willing to accept "the placebo stack" or the "that stuff ain't gonna do squat stack"

I'm running brawns test booster along with blackstone labs recomp rx, then for fatburning I am combining blackstone labs trojan horse with brawns corti-lean (I have actually let my wife run these and they seem to work very well, it's based on Jerry wards bmr 4 supplement only you get a clinical dose of calcium pyruvate plus the 7 keto doing it this way for less than the cost of his underdosed supplement.)

I also have various stim based pres, focus supps and fatburners but will use these sparingly as I've really enjoyed the break from stims, I use outbrake nutrition syrum as my non stim pre at the moment.

Anyway ill update with progress and will post pics of anything I feel justifies it.

Quick update. Decided to drop the trojan horse cos I think it's upsetting my stomach. Everything else is still in though and liking it so far. Also changed my workout regime to Mon, Wed, Fri full body workouts.

One day, deadlifts, pull ups, dips, barbell curls. The next barbell squats, bent over rows, dumbell flies, overhead barbell press, skull crushers. Then repeat. Early days but will see how it goes.
 
Well... I seem to be getting gyno symptoms in my left nipple (always seems to be that one). Either brawns test booster is the best natural test booster on the planet or blackstone are hiding something with recomp rx.
 
So finally prepping for my next cycle. Decided on relatively low doses of 3 products. Havoc (never used before but always wanted to try it) Trenadrol and oral trest. Will start a new thread when it's underway and outline goals etc. Should be within a week.

Incidentally the recomp rx by bsl was very interesting. Got mild gyno symptoms whilst on it and I could swear I was also getting back pumps. Diet was very relaxed too but definitely looked lean and full in the mirror. Either there's something shifty going on with bsl (wouldn't be the first time) or ursolic acid is legit. When this next cycles over I think I will run build I think it's called by outbreak nutrition as that also contains it. Would be good for comparison.
