You dont have to be sub 15% BF to cycle

At the end of the day, just enjoy making progress and being the best you can be and not stressing out, because I have been tot he point of obsessively weighing my food waiting up later at night to “get in all my meals” I mean honestly.. who the fu I wants to live like that?? Like there is so much more to life than carrying around Tupperware and a ****ing food scale and not eating out fear of not optimizeg muscle gains, but then again I was competing and wanted to be optimal. But that gets old real fast and life passes you by.. sorry about the rant I just would like to hear someone else’s thoughts on that topic

And to top it off, if all that effort doesn’t satisfy you, then it satisfies no one. If your anything like me then your loved ones could care less if your 25% body fat or 10% body fat. The only people who really take notice and care are other people living the same bodybuilder-type lifestyle. Other than that, people just want you to be happy and healthy, and that’s a good ultimate goal to have. Don’t let what starts out as being an amazing hobby turn into a source of torment.

Going back to the question that started the thread, I was just at 25% body fat, I cut to 20% and decided to start my cycle from there. I’d like to ultimately be just below 15%. I don’t think it’ll effect my health any worse just because I started the cycle a little fatter than is ideal.

And i think progress shows when youre 25% bf on anabolics anyways. I mean look at my pics. 2 months on anabolics and my body looks like a completely different person lol

Dude, you can put down some methyls, can’t you? I swear, you probably didn’t even feel lousy on that cycle, did you?

Christ’s new name: Bionic Liver

I don't believe him. My guess is, the after pics are his brother.

After seeing what anabolics can do when you finally make youself get off your fat ass and work for it ill never cut from anywhere without them again. Ive taken a couple hiatus's from training and let myself go for a bit. The older i get the harder it is to do with just diet alone. Not to mention the fact that my past opiate use wrecked my test levels so before getting on trt it was way harder. These pics are from after my last hiatus. I was disgusted with myself and hated who i had become. So i picked up some treats for a cycle and crushed the gym. If anything being on cycle makes me stick to my diet more to get the most out of my cycle. If you're 25% bf and dont know how to lift or excercise then yeah, learn how to lift and eat right and stick to it for a little bit to make sure you can. Then cycle if you decide you want to. But if you know how to lift, eat right, and be healthy while on anabolics then i dont see any reason you would have to wait and cut 10% bf before going on a cycleInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed
Hey brother I've been waiting for someone to post about opiate abuse and it resulting in crashing test levels. It's embarrassing to admit, but I had a problem from 2005 to 2011, first tried bc of an injury and got prescribed loritabs for over a month, and easily getting hooked wound up at a methadone clinic to try to help myself. Never injected or used heroin, but almost every kind of pill on the streets. Eventually my d.o.c. became methadone, and then I learned about the methadone clinic. Eventually th fam caught on and sent me out of town to in-patient treatment where I went from my usual 185lbs. to 225lb in 30 days, and then a halfway house. I finished up, was amazingly able to finish grad school and became a financial advisor.I also busted my ass at the gym and cycled epistane a couple times. Best physical shape of my life. But a few years later I screwed up and let somebody talk me into taking a free Roxy. That's all it took, two weeks later I was back at the clinic I left both my jobs and had to move back home. I got up to 160mg/d and 325lbs in a little over a year. Over the next 4 years I told my family everything and they let me wean down as I planned to originally, now I'm down to 40mg/d I've been weaning 10mg/month and soon every two weeks. I will take my last dose on Nov 30th. I Went to my primary when I was still at 160mgs, I had him check my test level an it was 135. He said once I'm off the methadone, my levels will rise again, at least into the low to mid range of the normal range. I got tested again a month ago, still at 130ng/dl. I was hoping someone here could confirm that my levels will improve once I'm completely off. And maybe how long before it would start to rise. I've used many natty boosters, estrogen regulators, etc. to no avail. I have managed to improve my nutrition and mental game and now weigh 265lb, 5'10, 34 y/o. Leaned out a lot, definitely dropped bf while maintaining muscle which is I've always been physically active and worked out. I'm just really hoping he's right and my levels get close to normal. Sorry for the long post. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Just my .02, once off methadone, after 18 months of severe oxy abuse, my test did come all the way back to the 800s and I was 31 years old. It took a good 6 months though. Best of luck bro, lots of us here that have been there too. More than you’d think.

If you're real real fat then diet is going to help most of all but there's no reason not to kickstart that into high rev with some test, t3, Clen, and anavar. I mean you're damned anyway if you don't, right?

I truly appreciate you Matthersby, that gives me so much hope. 6 months, a year, just knowing you were able to get your test back eventually and would share that assures me I've come to the right place for knowledge, support, and great advice. Addiction is a terrible struggle, I wish all those dealing with it the best of luck. Thanks again!

You’ve got a great outlook on this bro. I’ve spent the last 8 years LEARNING how to be unselfish, and honestly, since March, I get as much as I do from going to meetings on here just talking to people. You never know when you can have an opportunity to help someone or do something selfless, and for me, that’s where the magic happens in recovery.

Definitely, for some reason I never felt as comfortable at the meetings but I can tell they are a really big part of recovery for a lot of people. But the idea of helping others gets me out of my head and even if I don't have as much knowledge about a lot of the discussions, I hope I can at least help inspire somebody with personal struggles I've gotten through or that I share with them.

What goals wolud you have, that you wanted to lose almost all muscle, alomg with your fat? Serious question.

Long distance running? Could see the benefit in dropping both lean mass and fat there.....go for the mo farah look.....

Lol. I totally disagree. You have to have something moving your body forward for hours a time. I doubt that bones and ligaments would get you there. LOL.

I never understood why on almost every forum it’s “common knowledge “ not to run gear unless your 15% or lower. It truly makes no sense whatsoever and people who tell people this are the true morons. I agree that someone with say 25% bf shouldn’t run a crazy cycle with several different compounds but why not start with say 500mg test a week and maybe some anavar or even Winstrol as a finisher to that cycle. Makes no sense to loose all that muscle cutting down to 15% bf when simply just doing something as simple as running 500mg of test a week will help retain all of that muscle and more than likely gain some muscle

Preach it brotha. Just stay away from highly aromatizing compounds like dbol and trest to minimize gyno risk. ANd have an AI handy if teh nips get to itchin
