At the end of the day, just enjoy making progress and being the best you can be and not stressing out, because I have been tot he point of obsessively weighing my food waiting up later at night to “get in all my meals” I mean honestly.. who the fu I wants to live like that?? Like there is so much more to life than carrying around Tupperware and a ****ing food scale and not eating out fear of not optimizeg muscle gains, but then again I was competing and wanted to be optimal. But that gets old real fast and life passes you by.. sorry about the rant I just would like to hear someone else’s thoughts on that topic
And to top it off, if all that effort doesn’t satisfy you, then it satisfies no one. If your anything like me then your loved ones could care less if your 25% body fat or 10% body fat. The only people who really take notice and care are other people living the same bodybuilder-type lifestyle. Other than that, people just want you to be happy and healthy, and that’s a good ultimate goal to have. Don’t let what starts out as being an amazing hobby turn into a source of torment.
Going back to the question that started the thread, I was just at 25% body fat, I cut to 20% and decided to start my cycle from there. I’d like to ultimately be just below 15%. I don’t think it’ll effect my health any worse just because I started the cycle a little fatter than is ideal.
