LOL, right! I doubt I get an erection with all that old, fat people around me. I choose that sport for joint rehab + cal burning, not for sexual pleasure, you perv!
Yeah, I had to cancel my gym membership for budget reasons and stopped working out at the park because of scheduling. Ate like a madman over the 3 holidays. Overall, I gained 20 pounds from my low (still 25 pounds lower than my high) and have dropped about 3 since the gain.
I plan to get back into jogging a couple of miles 2 or 3 days a week and get some basic bodyweight exercises in on the other day. Also, impoving my eating -- though I'm not yet at the point of eating clean.
I have not given up, though. I'll get serious soon.
We all need you. You're the brains of the bunch. Kind of scary, isn't it.

We don't judge.
Actually... I judge.
Yeah, I do too. I was just saying that to make him feel better.
My about the same age friend-you can’t leave AM! Our health is the only thing that matters. All the money and things in the world are useless without health, as you know.
I’ve thought about leaving AM a few times but kept coming back. I believe that it was me simply feeling burnt with the lifting and diet tracking. This lifestyle is hard but worth it.
Stay. Motivate the young ones! (Besides, you are the only one that comes into my log to motivate me!)
And anytime you think of saying F*** It, Let's do something stupid. You can think of me. LolThis is so true. Logging on here is a lot of work and time consuming. And doing the actual work to have something log is hard enough. I LOVED when I had all the support on here from my log, it really drove me, but it also kind of burned me out a little. I have a lot going on in my life right now, as do most people, and it's just hard to keep up with.
But on some level, I am weak and that is just an excuse. Just because life is trying to push me away, doesn't mean I should let it. But it is pretty damned hard.
Some of the guys on here probably don't realize the impact they've had on the REAL lives of others. There are so many guys on here I think about when I am doing what I SHOULD be doing.
Just some examples and I am leaving a ton of people out so I apologize in advance:
SFreed and BEAST73 come to mind every time I step on a treadmill, which isn't as often as it should be.
I think of hairygrandpa and picture him shaking his finger at me whenever I want a slice of pizza or some chocolate.
Whenever I am saving someone's life I think of FireTitan...but I never do that so....I think of him a lot when I am lifting heavier weights.
Whenever I step on a scale and start creeping up I think of Kaprice and think...man, I'm proving that b@stard right!
So many more...and I have to get some work done...but you get the idea.
And anytime you think of saying F*** It, Let's do something stupid. You can think of me. Lol
I understood what you wrote brother. And having just re-read that, and realizing it may have come out wrong - it wasn't directed at you cowboy. More thoughts on myself and such.
I understood what you wrote brother.
The friendships I've found here will be with me forever. Through work issues and personal issues, the gym and AM are the one constant. I come one here and get support from someone who has been through the same things, or find someone needing a pat on the back or a kick in the a$$. Helping you guys in some small way helps me work through my own issues.
My brothers that I will probably never meet.
As long as you keep doing the things you did to get there. If you stop... the yoyo begins again. That's the bummer we never get to go on cruise control. If we do then we backslide whether that be gaining fat, or losing muscle, or conditioning. Most of us can plan the plan to get there but are so done with the plan by the time we get there we just gradually relax and get back to something we find unnacceptable. Now for me luckily the line I find unacceptable has gotten better and better with time. So I gradually improve my bottom line regardless. However a plan to maintain is paramount to actually maintaining that condition.Just move your lazy azz! I even go to Hydro Gym with old people (knowing very well that it's the world best fat loss exercise in existence, because water absorbs your body heat, you burn way more calories that way). I figured, that once I reached my goal (some visible abs, about 15% BF) I should be able to hold it.

You've had an interesting journey hairygrandpa, and I'm glad I was around for it.
If I can ask a question, and I don't mean any disrespect at all, but if you could do it all over, would you still take all the chemicals you have?

Yes, if I had to do it all over again I would have HGP take all the chemicals and then some. It was relatively painless for me and I learned a ton.
LOL!
I remember vividly my struggles. Bloated like a puffer fish, lactating (TWICE!), bouts of high BP, prostate swelling, gyno from trest, insomnia, cramps in my lats (you have to try that -its a new experience), high RBC and BP, BP too low due to interactions of compounds, explosive diarrhea for 3 days (TWICE) for miscalculating L-carnitine dosages, fugged up knees due to crushing estrogen, crazy crystal meth-like experiences from stims, perma boner from Melanotan, deca d1ck and whatnot.

Okay, now did you just call this "activity" a sport? Do they have Hydro Gym competitions? LMAO!
I do think after doing this a while stopping your body will start bitching at you because there are a lot of known therapeutic uses for water work and water resistance. Maybe sticking with it is the low impact stuff you would need to maintain it and your joints.
Yeah, but, well, I didn't feel a thing. I barely even noticed any of it.
I love how Germans are all about science and experiment when they are wearing the lab coats. But once they are on the other end of the experiment - "Oh no! The side effects are horrendous!" (of course I am kidding)
FOR SCIENCE!!!
Now you gonna tell me that sh1tting my intestines out for 3 straight days was all in my head?I slept sitting ON the toilet, no joke. LMAO!
Yeah, but see, you can laugh about it now!
I never really lost my humor, exception are my fugged up knees. Never do Epistane and an AI -and skip injecting dog medicine into your knees, lesson learned.
Lat cramps are very painful !!!
Brother - some of that sh1t you tried was so balsy and cutting edge. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone try it, for sure, but I am impressed with your curiosity levels. Glad you got through it and have your life and only a slight studder to show for it all.
I found some Astragalosides, injections used in china on cattle for immunomodulation therapy and as anti-viral. Wondering if one could use it for flu or something....

Yes it is. I remember having a corner lot, and cutting half my yard, and telling my wife I would cut the other half the following week. I now have an acre and push mow 3 laps around the lot, and then use the rider for the rest to save time.LOL - being fat AND weak is horrible for your knees!

1:28 when he's running on the beach and jumps in the water. I'd be all over that shyt.
Other than that, no. None of it.
I could do that kinda stuff in my 20's when I was still on Active Duty. Not so much anymore. Lol
