Donald Trump running for president

The climate changes, yes we get that, It is the RATE of that change which is worrying, and the fact that we are at the warmest the globe has been in over 2000+ years. Stop focusing on the fact that the climate is constantly changing - even the scientists are aware that it does. You keep honing in on that when it has been addressed repeatedly.

This is like someone having a small hole in their tyre for 10 years and is used to having to pump it up every so often vs. a complete puncture that requires attention every few seconds and saying that he shouldn't fix it because it has always been like that

lol...I couldn't help from laughing when I read that last sentence...all we need to do is take the atmosphere over to petermans tire and let randy put a patch on it....

Not surprising. It's not because of kneeling, though.

NASCAR viewership is down as well.

Thats because commissioner Roger Badnotwell has been incrementally destroying the quality of the game and turning it into a flag football wus league. Its just not the same game that took it to the peak of its popularity.

So more head injuries make it better?

Honestly, I don't care either way. If football ends, it won't bother me. Especially considering all the money they get from the taxpayers.

Assuming by who your going of course, that itself may or may not be true and there is evidence scientists have been handed misled as well as concealed numbers. Different scientists may have varying opinions as to how much the climate has been changing and especially as to what causes it including uncertainty. Rates can change too, its not like its automatically our fault or in our control (although the US government is between 25 to 50 years in tech ahead of regular scientists and can already manipulate global temperatures to whatever they want even if carbon emission thing is true and we added even more, another reason the whole issue is BS) its true but some will then show any warming is significantly slowing down or cooling so whatever who knows. I honestly dont care for that 97% number or korean opinion polls, dont believe it 97%, not even close, and opinion polls are irrelevant...sorry this had been already addressed a couple of days ago.

Head injuries is just hype. Average football player has a longer lifespan than society and have a lower suicide rate. Also, the causes of CTE are still somewhat uncertain. Also, there are so many jobs out there that are work hazards, why pick on football. Its a voluntary sport and they can be set for life. People can walk out whenever they want and be set for life if they are smart with their money and not buy 10 cars and houses and live the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Im not against improving how concussions are handled, equipment quality and other safety issues to a certain extent just like I dont have a problem with some controversial early stoppages in boxing and using gloves.

Im not against your taxpayer beef.

if the people who complain about welfare only knew how much how much of their tax dollars goes to 'supporting' professional sports teams!!!

"Trump declares war on n Korea", they're twisting his words saying they will shoot down bombers in international air space huh... Its getting real boys

I still dont think its going to happen. I think we will be in war with Iran before we ever really go to war with DPRK.

Definitely! It's amazing how few people know that.

they had to create a 'special' tax called food/beverage tax to pay for lucas oil stadium. if you eat or drink downtown indianapolis there is a 5% surcharge added...this is on top of all the tax write offs/deferments.

sports teams have tax payers by the balls!!!

Anyone been watching "The Vietnam War" on PBS?

Im overseas right now so cant but I would love to watch that. One of my favorite series was WWII in Color (original color) on the history channel. Never been so immersed into WWII.

the next war will be unintentional....someone makes a miscalculation and retaliation begins immediately-it will be a chain reaction.

it's inevitable that eventually this will happen with all the war games and 'tests' being done, imo.

there isn't much we can do about it, so enjoy your life!!!

Fuçk, I hope neither one happens :(

They unveiled that long range missile at the parade then tested it. Personally, if I was in their shoes Id be preparing for my survival just like any other country would but the Military Industrial Complex doesnt see it that way and is hungry to feed its economy and shareholders.

I think they showed me that one back in the 8th grade, the whole series in history class. Best class ever, watch TV!!! This was back in 90 I believe so if what your talking about was that old or older than thats its, it was incredible.

Definitely! You can also stream from the PBS website.

lol...'stream'????

it's me you are talking to, lol!!!

streams are good for skipping rocks though....just sayin

seriously, torture was the name of the game in nam[on both sides], very nasty 'war'....it is amazing to me that after all that went on over there we have such good relations today!!!

Just looked into it, that Civil War one was released in 90, thats the one I saw in class way back. Its incredible. I just saw they remastered in in HD in 2015, its a 25th anniversary edition. Ill have to revisit it some time.

Does federal code state that advisors are required to use secure email systems and record their emails to it?

It doesn't matter what your job title is. It matters what you're sending, specifically classified materials (section 18 of USC), but also applies to all government communications under the Federal Records Act and FOIA. NARA also gives guidance on use of email (Invalid Link Removed) and what needs to be done to archive all emails regardless of how they are sent.

So while there is no law about using private email servers, there is code for recording it, yes. At the end of the end of the day though, you know damn well that Trump ran part of his campaign around Hillary's use of private email servers (which she was wrong to do so). Looking the other way now that the Trump administration is doing it freely is pure hypocrisy.

not necessarily. Do we know for sure that Kushner or Ivanka sent classified info? Was it classified at the time of the sending? Those things we know with Hillary. If the answer is yes, then of course they should be in trouble. However, if we follow the rule of law for Hillary, nothing will happen

Exactly. Kushner and Ivanka (as well as others in the current administration) have broken the same rules that Hillary did. Sure, her emails were classified, but still the same rule as far as I can tell. Who knows if the emails Ivanka and Jared received are classified or not?

I think you're missing the point here. Classified or not, it's still the same rule. Reread the second sentence on Aleksandar37's post.

Nothing happened to Hillary, correct. However, Trump leading "Lock her up!" chants at his rallies still happened, and he used it to ignite his base.

So YES, it is total and complete hypocrisy.

Meanwhile, Trump is more focused on the stupid NFL and kneeling than he is sending aid to Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory.

Oh, I almost forgot, taunting a crazy man that has nukes on Twitter as well.

I'm not softening what Hillary did and any two circumstances are going to be different. We don't know yet the extent of the current emails, but that is part of the problem with using private emails: it's harder to track what is being done and what isn't being reported.

Nothing will happen though as you've said. I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy since it was such a major point in the campaign. If it actually mattered, they would have taken extra steps to avoid using private email accounts for government business.

Exactly. I'm not minimizing what Hillary did at all. I still think she did the American people a disservice.

actually, If I am not mistaken there is a distinction between classified and not classified. As well as retroactive classified v. classified at the time of the sending of the email.

Either way, the optics are terrible.

The last sentence is 100% accurate imo. They should be smarter, but none them ever are

she also lowered the bar...it will be nearly impossible to prosecute violations now---every defense team will use the Hillary defense.

personally I hope Ivanka and kushner both get fired, they are nothing but elitist liberals, imo.

So obviously thats just another one of his accumulating false campaign promises and shows he is another big government establishment insider more than anything.

Being that she wiped her servers after being issued a subpoena should be guaranteed prison time. This to me is far worse that anything else she may have had.
