Why do people use Prohormones instead of real steroids or Testosterone injections?

Is that a challenge?

To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge.

I am on doc monitored TRT, so PCT is not an issue. Even if I start to show signs of high estro, I can get the SERM/meds legally from my endo (just won't admit to him I am on any PHs). I am also in a profession that an arrest would end my career, immediately. For me the legality is enough. Even if "others are doing it" and "happily getting away with it" it is not worth it to me to take that chance that I will run afoul of some legal entity who decides I am the right person to make an example of, and be "the first" to have the laws enforced upon. It is just that simple. I do not judge anyone else for using gear. I wish I were in a position to myself, but I am not.

I also would worry a little about the (often unknown) quality coming from ulabs versus what I perceive to be more controlled production standards for the PHs from the mainstream companies.

Just my $.02

in that case it makes sence why u would use PHs over ¨real¨ steroids,

do you think the choice would be different if you did not get TRT legally from your doctor? (or is the legality a BIG deal for you)

He said the legality was a major issue because he runs the risk of getting fired. I'd say that makes it BIG

^^ This is what I am talking about when we question legality. Cons far outweigh the pros, legally on trt (no pct needed) then and ONLY then is legality an excuse :)

I am the sole provider for my family. If I lose my job my family doesn't eat (well, once the savings run out). So, no, if I couldn't get it from my doctor, I would not buy it illegally. I would just shop around for a new doctor, tbh :).

100% agree, no amount of muscle is even a spec compared to family!

And you actually have a legitimate reason. I looked up my employers response to finding out their employees sre doing drugs of any sort in an illicit way and they just send you to an AA or NA meeting and follow up afterwards.

Anyways, my response was clearly not directed at you. There are many that believe the very thing I mentioned but end up realizing that active AAS is the way to go. Many of these folks are the ones that are clearly using steroids and deny it all the way to their grave. They want the result but they don't want the social criticism that comes with it.

Not only that, but unless you have enough to distribute, I doubt the government gives a damn

Even then I know someone who had his house raided, had at least 30 vials of goodies and all that happened was he lost his job.

I mean they could try you in court or they could just raid it and nothing else happens. Either way you're out a lot of money so maybe they thought he wouldn't do it again afterwords. 30 vials is pretty a expensive loss,

Uh yeah especially if any of it was pharm grade GH. Either way, he's out of a career job and a steady income. I'd just be glad I wasn't headed to prison.
Money can be made back, more gear can be bought (if you intend to keep bodybuilding), but I would hate wasting time away from the real world, all for some substances that the government says you aren't allowed to use unless you're medically deficient or you think you were born with the wrong genitals and you wanna change genders. Holy run-on sentence, sorry guys.

I totally get what you are saying, and if not for the morals clause in my employment contract I would be leaning that way myself. Technically I can't even bounce a check, as each floated check is considered "fraud" in some states (I was told that by a senior manager once, many years go, but am not sure how true it is). I actually think that illicit drugs might be better tolerated than PEDs, as the illicit drugs imply addiction, which is generally considered an illness that deserves treatment versus punishment. Where as PED usage is usually considered wholly voluntary. What an interesting world we live in :)

If you took a group of dudes from the gym that all take real gear and stood them next to a group of dudes from the gym that take only prohormones, the results will speak for themselves.

So all you have to do is say that the smaller group (ph guys) are the ones who have no sources or won't take the risk. Because other than those 2 things, we all want the same thing. No one wants to spend more money to get less results.

Also the risk of getting bunk gear AAS is probably on par with getting bunk ph's. How many countless threads on bs ph's on this forum alone!!

Ummmm....you're addicted to muscle! BOOM problem solved

Stop that. Right meow

I seriously think he just plugs a few key words from our posts into google and finds some BS inspirational quote that has one or two of the words in it.

May I suggest going away at whatever speed you desire.

I'm not the sort to back away from a fight. I don't believe in shrinking from anything. It's not my speed; I'm a guy who meets adversities head on.

Man who make mistake in elevator...
Wrong on many levels.

It’s us against them, two against countless thousands. But for some reason, and even though it’s absurd, at that moment I feel pretty damn good about our odds
