for 30+ flavors you would think there is more then a "few" that are worth the purchase.
PB World, Cinnamon Buns, Chubby Hubby
Eh, when a brand mass produces and has such a wide variety you'd expect a good bit of misses tho

somehow cherry garcia is the #1 seller
Basic B's are running rampant.
I wonder what those kids concocted for Aprils ss flavors
that and the 180 xurro
So, I've now gotten through 3 of the new enlightened flavors:
Bananas foster: mild banana flavor (but more realistic vs the typical fake, runts type) and tons of caramel swirl. Very solid if you like banana flavors.
Cookie dough: unreal base that is super creamy and sweet, paired with tons of chunks of legit cookie dough. How they kept this low cal is a mystery to me cuz it's as good or better than most full cal cccd.
Fudge brownie: a very nice dark chocolate base, again super creamy and rich, similar to the cccd there's a ton of brownie chunks which are soft and chewy and plentiful.
Frankly, all 3 flavors were top notch and the bottom two especially were on par or better than most full cals.
I don't know how enlightened does it with the creaminess, richness, and mix ins to keep these lower cal but they're downright amazing.
In before class action lawsuit involving deceitful labeling! I'm also jealous you have Enlightened in your area. I'm still getting through all of the Halo Top flavors. Just had my first bad experience - cookies and cream. It was AWFUL
Why did you think it was awful? To me, it was unremarkable, but not bad. It was just boring. No cookies at all; just tiny flecks throughout the entire pint of vanilla lol.
Mine tasted like straight chemicals. I don't have a fancy palate at all, but I just could not stomach it. Tried it three separate times (same pint, though), and had to throw the rest away. I've had red velvet, cookie dough, mint chip, bday cake, pb cup, oatmeal cookie, s'mores, and pistachio and have liked every one (some more than others of course).
Interesting.
That's how I felt with the chocolate almond crunch. It just tasted horrid, but none of my other pints/flavors ever had. Obviously some flavors I didn't care for, but none had ever tasted bad aside from it. Wondering if we just got bad pints...

They buy online, it's expensive as hell, but can be worth it to buy every once in a while. You don't realize how crappy stuff like blue bell is until you've had really good ice creamWhere do yall get these fancy ice creams? I dont have anything like that locally. Pretty much just blue bell and turner here....sigh.

I don't see "light years" between but those are dome of the mix-in winners.
I wouldn't give larger companies a strike for the actual ice cream base though. As long as real cream is being used, they have a lot more money invested into flavouring and can stand their ground.
B&J do killer swirls, and although some of their bases are let-downs (looking at you Cheesecakes) they have some great ones too.
The new Haagen Dazs line really shows off their talent for making a stellar ice cream base. Whiskey Chocolate Truffle is an easy A from me, really good, Irish Cream now being my #2
But these smaller companies are definitely killing it for mix-ins to such an extent that they are the creators of many of my top pints.
But then the real deciding factor... I can find B&J for half the price of those sometimes.
I'd probably buy a healthy mix of both if I was in the US
Oh I know, that's why I've had no issue shelling out $10CDN per Graeters pint in the past when I'm in that mood
I tried them thanks to Gino, but I'm glad I'm not local to these offerings sometimes just for my wallet's sake.
Some of you guys must spend near $1000 per year on pints.
I love ice cream, but also having paid my bills lol
Nothing worse....
Seems to be a nationwide issue .. a lot of people are getting no dry ice and melted pints

"Marshmallow Ice Cream base with Housemade S'mores Bars"

Best marshmallow ice cream in the game. Custard like consistency, pure marshmallow flavor, and the sweet aftertaste. On point.

S'mores bars.... Made in house with graham crackers, chocolate, and torched marshmallows on top. Absolutely brilliant.
Now that sounds amazing.
^will try
Haven't seen a banana from them before, I'm guessing it may be a thing though
If so, good?
