Sadly, it is not just a fitness trend; this is a societal issue. More and more people, and at younger ages, seem like they are consuming more and more caffeine whether it be from coffee, soda, energy drinks, etc. You go to the gas station or corner store and they have two full fridges of different energy drinks. Hell, even those Starbucks shots in stores are gaining momentum. I wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now, they way to get caffeine and/or caffeine restrictions come into play. And of course, it will be due to someone abusing it.

Any ideas as to why fiber was added?

The combination of ingredients the product relies on is fairly straightforward with an unknown amount of BCAAs, at a leucine heavy 5:1:1 ratio. Purus Labs has also thrown in fiber with the BCAAs, and while we don’t know that ingredient’s dose either, we do know the two main features come packed into a 7.5/7.9g serving

Hate caffeine in nootropics, caffeine is already in everything else (peanut butter as well apparently..), I do understand its complimentary to the other ingredients but still the likelihood someone will be using this as their sole caffeine source? Extremely unlikely.

I get maybe some people don't like coffee, but if you want caffeine go out a buy your self some good coffee and and enjoy a cup or 2. Eesh

Do you think the route of administration changes the calories of something? if anything you would get less calories from oral administration vs. IV.

The time it takes for BCAA's to get to the blood stream isn't exactly excessive. Bio-availability wouldn't have much in this scenario.

I don't think we are releasing it without caffeine. I'm with you though. I wish we had a stim and non stim version.

Just faster around workout time for 99.999% I won't make a difference but if you already have everything thing else perfect on tons of juice have the best genetics I could see it helping a LITTLE bit

I do wonder, and hell it may already exist, but what about something like Curcumin? where there may be some evidence for tremendous effects, yet it has shiit bio availability, whereas if it were injectable we could skirt that issue?

It 100% exists and some people have said it's great on some of the more hardcore forums.


Injectable Amino Acids that you can eat/drink would make zero difference.

A guy at my gym told me the post-workout anabolic window is 30secs so injectable AAs (not AAS) straight after last set would be perfect for this and thankyou

1st off congrats...you have been with purus for as long as I can remember-most reps don't stick that long...2nd I have enjoyed purus products for a longtime and was a fan of mm...tell me more about this updated version and why no dmaa?

Dmaa is almost exclusively controlled by hi tech now. That's why most brands have removed it lately

Thanks it's a testament to the company itself having my back since the beginning (2009). CEO even came to my wedding 4 hours away. So I'm all in with Purus.

I can't give away too much honestly. They want to drop the label on launch day. It will have nitrates in it and one of the flavors will be blackberry cherry. I'll see if they want me to say much more.
No DMAA is a combination of been there done that, old news and it's still controversial. We'll let other companies deal with that.

That's pretty funny. The anabolic window timing (ie having to down something asap after workout) has somewhat been debunked for the most part. Would love to see a research article on the 30 second window. :)

I just can't thing of any good reason to use an injectable Amino Acids at all. Main reason being too little amount anyway. I'm mainly talking BCAA/EAAs here things like lcarnitine, lcarnosine are different animals

The label posted on stack3d is from the old formula containing DMAA. The new formula will not be released until the product officially launches.

As said that was the old formula...... which I have 2 unopened bottles of actually. 300mg caffeine and 80mg DMAA definitely is not underwhelming, or at least it wasn't back the. Ha

I've talked with the CEO Brandon a lot about bringing back the product because the name has a good reputation. He didn't want to be a me too and just water down the old product as you see other companies do. So some time was put in to think and put this product together before releasing it.

The place that ordered them in only got a small order, I'm assuming to be one of the first to get them in the UK and are waiting on the actual bulk order, suppose getting 3 and not enjoying them is better then a box of 12 and not enjoying them.

I should have made multiple accounts and ordered loads

The problem with Sugar Cookie or other birthday cake flavors is they taste like glorified vanilla's. They really miss the sugary aspect or the cookie aspect. Same with birthday cake in missing the birthday cake flavor. Ends up tasting like a sweet vanilla.

let me know how the NEO is.. Heard nothing but incredible things.
