Taste

Dirt Flavor - InnovaPharm was not kidding when they stated this was Dirt flavored. If you look at the bulk matierals there is a reason this product is not the best tasting thing out there. For those who want to try this I would suggest chasing it in water to get it down quick. It leaves a bitter aftertaste due to the makeup of the formula. Nothing pleasant or nice to sip on, but the raw materials is a reason why it tastes what it is. Drink Fast!

Mixability

Pump Dirt did mix easy, that is a positive, it is just the flavor is not very pleasant. I gave this about 4-5 shakes in a blender bottle with 4-6 oz of water and had it compltely dissolved. No issues here!

Banaba Leaf - helps blood sugar issues and contains antioxidant effect of allowing fat mass.

Gymnema Sylvestre Extract - Enhance function of inuslin and lower blood sugar

Slin 10 - Provides 35mg of Corosolic Avid which is the most of any dietary supplement in the world.

Corsolic Acid - reduces blood sugar as a GDA (Glut 4). Stimulates Glut 4 from inner cell to outer cell membrane and takes glucose (carbs) right into the skeletal muscle tissue. Hence an increase in glycogen storange for your muscles to soak up the carbs like a sponge.

Thoughts

I tried this product two ways in which most consumers would use.

1) Before a workout - Again I tried this once before a fasted workout and a fed workout. The one where I was fed I took in 75 of carbs from potatoes/rice cakes and felt great fullness and pump throughout my workout. I left all my other regular supplements out and just used pump dirt and then BCAA's intra-workout.

I also tried a fasted workout and took the pump dirt prior to see the notes on pump. Again not much here because of having no food in my system. It was worth a shot, but I did not get much from a fasted workout and pumps with pump dirt. Not knocking the formula, but I find it suprerior for those who may train fed and have a carb rich meal prior to the dose of the GDA/Pump Product.

2) before a carb rich meal - I took this with a pre bed dose and 50g of carbs from rice. I did notice notice much as far as knowing how well the product was shuttling the carbs, but I did note a bit of deeper sleep from a late night GDA dose. I did also feel a slight enhancement in muscle fullness.

 
So you took it before your bedtime snack and slept better??? Very interesting.
 
My largest meal is before bed because I train first thing upon waking. Helps refill glycogen stores for early AM Training.

When I was training at 0500 I also did the same thing. If I didn't I would be so famished I'm the mornings my workouts would suck.

The smell alone is pretty disgusting.
I literally take a small scoop of xtend or another BCAA and the Pump Dirt to try and mask the raws. It literally tastes like dirt. No joke.. not very pleasant at all.

Fold up the corners and spin it off. Swallow with a swig of water. I'll try to put a video on my Instagram tomorrow. No flavor at all that way and the dirt disperses quick, ensuring quick digestion.

You should cap the product. No offense, consumers are not going to want something that tastes like pure ass. Boone makes a good point.

Personally I wouldn't even mix it in a liquid, dry scoop down the hatch and chase it is the recommended way. I usually chase with carb powder/aminos. Somethings that tastes good, taste doesn't linger much. It truly is "dirt" flavor.

Yea if you make it that concentrated it would def cover it up too well. I'm too lazy, just throw it back and hope it doesn't stick to the tongue haha.
 
Had these goodies waiting for me when I got home last night so today I gave it my first go.

I always train fasted, however I have all my food (and carbs) at my last meal at the end of the night before so stores are full. Last night I got home from the west coast especially late so my meal was even closer to my workout than normal (about 8hrs of sleep between last bite and first rep).

I dosed one heaping scoop (see pic) as directed.

Taste: what everyone wants to know ha... yeah, it smells and tastes almost exactly like eating dirt and mulch. It even looks like that. It's not intolerable by any means, but def not enjoyable in water. Something that I can see getting harder and harder to choke down the more you use it as you build that mental grossness ha.

Mix: in water, it flat out mixes like crap. Tons of particles, floaters, chunks, etc. pretty much a waste of your time to even try.

Effects: (the only thing that really matters). Honestly, I was not impressed. I made sure to add drop sets and an fst-7 finisher to my power pull day but the pump was identical to my normal 500mg dose of just agmatine. I also had a bit of a headache for the first 30min or so that I have to attribute to this since it's the only variable o changed from my weekly routine.

Today will be a high carb refeed day for me so I will give it another dose with a meal, and then again try in the morning for legs tomorrow.

So far, def not worth the price, but I will give it some stronger circumstances tomorrow and then with some higher rep workouts next week before making a final statement.
 
I definitely would recommend not mixing it and just throwing back a scoop. The pump effects are more effective when taken with carbs preworkouts. Otherwise it functions more like a standard gda.

Yep, I'm familiar with how it should go. I use gdas regularly pre workout with and without carbs. Some just flatten me out while others (AP in particular) will really blow me up even without carbs right pre workout (just the night before').

I almost never eat right before my workouts just because I do IF and lift mornings mostly or asap after work if it's an earlier day. I'll pick one day tho and give it a shot that way just for reference.

Any particular carb you'd suggest? Obviously I'm not gonna buy anything fancy just for one workout so more looking for a food
 
I've used everything from gatorade powder and gummy bears to fancier carbs. HBCD is best, imo, but I still got great results even with a cheaper carb like gatorade. I've noticed simpler and quicker digesting carbs seem to give the best pump results.

I hope you consider "Good things" as things that taste like "Dirt"
it is not very pleasant, especially if you take it with your pre-workout meal (and carbs) that dirt aftertaste takes a while to go away

Its effective to say the least.

Ive tried it with a few things in the last few weeks
rice and rice cakes digest the best for me.. so around 50-75g of carbs I have found as my sweet spot
I have got a lot of comments about my vascularity and veins when training in the gym recently supplementing with it. So i know this product since introducing it has played an effect.

Pump dirt is solid. I recently got a tub and its been treating me pretty well. It tastes like dirt but it's not so bad that you can't utilize it... I just toss a scoop in my mouth and chase it with water. My first time using it was pretty impressive. I had ~120g of carbs with minimal bloat postprandial.
 
So yesterday was my refeed day so I took one scoop around dinner time to see how I felt.

Bloat and "fullness" was zero this morning which is a definite positive as I usually have a bit of bloat on sundays from all the carbs and cals.

Workout today was legs power, similar to yesterday with lower reps but drop sets and fst-7 finisher at the end.

While I didn't feel that I got a good "pump" the hardness to my muscles was noticeable and definition was pretty solid at the end of the workout. Definitely a better experience than the day before.

So far, I'm liking it better for with meals than gym effects.
 
So today I finally got a chance to try pump dirt out with some pre workout carbs (50g from Gatorade powder) for a pull hypertrophy day.

Have to say that dumping the powder straight into your mouth and trying to wash it down is not so nice. All the little pieces get in your teeth and the flavor sticks even longer... my recommendation echos The Solution in that it's best to mix with something flavored.

Effects: today all sets were 8+ reps for compounds and 15 for isolations with a drop set at the end of each final set as well as an fst 7 finisher at the end of the workout. The pump was good, but didn't seem anything out of the ordinary for a good hyper workout for me. I don't get great pumps usually so any benefit is a bonus however the slight bump to me doesn't justify the price, nor the addition of 200cals worth of "wasted" (not eaten) calories in the form of the carb powder.

The pics do show decent improvement and pump from start to finish but IMO not the dramatic results that I see from some other gda type products, especially with supplementary carbs added specifically pre workout with it. For me, this is on par with my 2nd tier gda's in that it does have some effect, but cost and limited/optimal usage (best with extra carbs) take it down a notch. I can get a similar pump effect from solo agmatine which makes that far more cost effective and useful for me.

Overall I would give this a 6/10 as I see it as a good but not great product. I actually think I liked it much better with my meals as a gda than pre workout so I'll probably use it more in that aspect going forward.

Thanks to ENragedchris for giving me a chance to try this out and being patient with my variety of trials.

Trying it tonight with 30gr wms/whey iso pre and my usual 25gr HBCD intra. Training quads

It's not that bad, but def not enjoyable in any way ha. Tastes like it says, dirt.

I fear for the next iteration called "pump shiit" that has berberine in it and tastes like... you know, shiit.
