HIT4ME Pushing The Envelope With Evolutionary Muse

About this - it's definitely working. I gain strength pretty consistently on it. But...it may not be sustainable. It's rough. I'm at the end of my 3rd week and I'm having to add in a couple extra rest days here and there. I may get used to it. The thing is - I have NO DOMS at all. I can go back the next day, and the next, and the next. It's just my energy that's dragging at some points. And motivation. But if I take off just 1 extra day I usually get my motivation right back and then come back stronger.

That is how HST works for me. I get some DOMS first week after decondition but nothing to bad. after that I never get sore. with 3 days a week I don't need time off, unless I have to run 2 days in a row. I have done a few 3 days in a row but never more than 4 days without a off day or 2.

With what you are doing I'm impressed brother! that is very intense and I bet you have to take a day off here and there.

In!!! Evomuse is amazing...

Already tried a lot of products from them!!

Welcome aboard! I have tried a ton of their stuff. I ran 8-9 bottles of Brite last year. I also ran 2 bottles if DCP and I have run 2 bottles of epitome in seperate occasions. I think I understand how epitome works better now and I wish I had stuck to it more.

I am also looking at Abliderate formula and thinking it would be great as PCT to cutting hormones like 11-KT ...But it never gets mentioned in that light.

Yeah, I used it today for the first time...it actually applied better than the beta supernova I used and I think I will be applying it in the morning too, unless dsade finally gets in here and tells me I am doing something wrong. It doesn't seem like it will cause any problems with work with smells or anything.

HIT4ME, what kind of cardio you will be doing?

Ummm....I hate cardio. I am trying to get my motivation up. I will probably doing the treadmill and bike ...30-45 minutes at a time in the morning. I am working out with weights 6 out of 8 days so I am getting a good amount of exercise as it is.

I did my HST A workout tonight:

Squats:
1 x 8 x 225 warm up
1 x 6 x 295
1 x 5 x 295
1 x 4 x 295

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 10 x 295

Pull Ups
1 x 10 x bw + 10

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 135 warm up
1 x 9 x 200
1 x 6 x 200
1 x 4 x 200

Military Presses
1 x 8 x 120

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 10 x 95

Rope Press Downs
1 x 8 x 52.5

Barbell Preacher Curls
1 x 6 x 75
1 x 3 x 75

I actually felt more energetic and strong during the workout than I have for a while working out. I almost felt like what you expect to achieve with stimulants but I haven't taken any today. I felt energized.

I missed my second dose of epitome today. Took my last dose of Brite and DCP before dinner. Took BMP before my workout.

I will take an ammo before bed.

Diet today was almost as planned. Coffee with a scoop of Select and 1 tbsp of MCT oil because I was out of coconut oil in the morning, 1 cup of egg beaters and 2 oz low fat cheese this afternoon, a scoop of Select in almond milk post workout, and then for dinner I messed up a little. We had some barbecue chicken left over from the other night, so rather than waste it I just ate that for dinner. Guessing that was 500 cals. I probably ended up around 1300 cals for the day.

Well...the goal is kind of 15 pounds...we will see. I am guessing there is some bloat and water weight that should come off easy...

You know that fires me up. You REALLY think it can't be done? How sure are you?
I was pretty sure cause I've never seen it but now I'm worried I'll be wrong. I hate being wrong. I'll stick to my guns on this tho. 10lbs of fat, not including waterweight and glycogen but pure fat

Yeah, don't ever worry about being wrong. I am wrong all the time. More than I am right, haha. But those few times I am right...I only talk about those times...that way people think I am smart haha.

It can be done..

Yes! I'm gonna do it. I know there is also the fact that some will say I shouldn't do it. Haha.

Even if it can be I'll still say it can't be because it fires him up. So I'm helping more than everyone else is in a way :p

Well, you are...but only if you really don't believe it. Otherwise it takes the fun out of it. Haha.

Thanks for the fire man!

It's because of all the metabolic damage I have sustained from PSMF? I don't know. The workouts are hard but eating more doesn't really ever seem to make them easier...

You are a freak brother! that is all I can say. But you already knew that.

In to see the results!! I've been a huge fan of Matt's products for years!! I always come back for more! I just ordered some of the Supernova and the Alphaburn.

You are a freak brother! that is all I can say. But you already knew that.

Haha - keep in mind my TDEE a lot of days is just around 2100 calories. So the deficit isn't as huge as one may think. I'm a small guy.

I love SN and Alphaburn. I have some SN for my second month of this run, but being higher bodyfat, matt thought the Eviscerate may work better at first.

ChocolateClen this man can do it!!! And do it with so much ease itll make you question your methods... trust me

Ummm....actually, I think MOST people see what I do and question MY methods, not theirs. haha. But I thank you for the compliment - means a lot coming from the guy who has changed the most in the past couple months. You are the one making it look easy.

Really late but I'm in

Not really late at all! Welcome aboard. I'd say welcome to the party, but that would be someone else's thread. haha.

Today's Weigh In:

Bodyweight: 189.4 pounds
Bodyfat %: 24.3%
Waist: 40" (ouch)

Down a pound and a half. Gonna try to prove chocolateclen wrong in 10 days! haha. j/k - that won't last. Just water, but I'll take my wins where I can get them.

Took DCP, BMP, Brite, Ammo and Abliderate this morning around 7:30. Again, slept too late to have time to do cardio. I need to get over that. I was supposed to take Epitome an hour ago, but I missed it, will take it in about 10 minutes. That's the product I'm missing my dosing on and it's also probably the one I need the most after all the dieting I've done in the past 2 years.

I also took some photos yesterday and will try to get them up today.

Tonight's workout:

Deadlifts
1 x 8 x 315 warm up
1 x 8 x 400
1 x 2 x 400...stopped here because I may have tweaked my groin just a little.

Leg Presses
1 x 10 x 660

Bent Over Rows
1 x 9 x 185

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 135 warm up
1 x 8 x 200

Military Presses
1 x 5 x 120

5 wasn't failure per se, it was just exhaustion. I was done. No gas in the tank. Guess Studhorse jinxed me haha. Nah...I am just weak.

I am not sure the almost every night routine can be sustained. While running the 11-KT it wasn't much if an issue....but now it is getting harsh. I may have to make some adjustments, which I don't want to do so much because it gives me a mental excuse for not doing cardio haha.

That 6 day HST has gotta be rough! I did 6 days for a long time, but once I started HST I realized I just couldn't do it much more then 4 days a week. Once again, you're a better man than I.

Lol...Hardly a better man than anyone...I am probably going to wind up in the same place as you. I am trying to think of strategies that may be less than obvious but may help create chronic stress adaptation. I WAS seeing good progress for a bit doing it every day.

HIT4ME You're better at loosing weight than anyone I've ever met before. You seem to know more about fat burners than most reps, and part of me thinks that you allow yourself to gain weight just so you can lose it again. I'm willing to bet that you'll lose the 15 pounds just to prove it can be done. Would you like to make a wager? I have a brand new, unopened bottle of HyperMax XT that I'll send you when you hit your goal. Deal??

I believe you can do anything you believe you can. We used to squat 6 days a week 2 months a year - year after year. People thought we were nuts but we ended up strong as.......

John Brosz - one of the greatest olympic lifting coaches ever - has his guys doing 2 workouts EVERY DAY except sunday when they only do one; think of it- 13 workouts a week all exactly the same! And his guys win!

Ok, sorry for the rant....just trying to say here's another guy that believes you can do it!

I would have start out with cardio the first 8 days.. 1 day on and 1 day off. Then I would have started Weight training.

You are the best man. I wish that was actually true...but I still have eating issues I deal with and I have struggles like everyone. I actually had a little epipheny today - when we talk about weight loss in society and the media...we are trained to treat the issue like a young child that needs to be coddled. The issue is tough to overcome, so if we don't treat it kindly and make it happy and get a good relationship with food, we can't possibly control it. And all the things that give you control of the issue are unhealthy and dangerous. But the one thing I have learned - it is in our control - and while I don't try to gain weight to lose it, I do have some confidence that I can take it off now. I am in control.

Having said that, it wouldn't be fair to take your supps without offering something in return...is there anything you have been eying if I don't hit the 15?

This is the thing, I believe that training is based on stimulate, recover, grow. The more you can run this cycle, the faster you grow. The thing is, you have to balance volume, intensity and frequency in order to sufficiently stimulate, recover and grow between workouts.

It may just be a case that I have to back off the intensity a little to create that balance...but this is difficult to do mentally...and how much to back off is a question.

But, we are capable of more than w e assume most times.

I would have start out with cardio the first 8 days.. 1 day on and 1 day off. Then I would have started Weight training.

Well...maybe I should take your advice. Since you have a pretty good physique ....there is only one issue with it. Cardio.haha

I have an Average Brosz shirt that is one if my favorites. I'm not even close to the level most of you are on, but I love that shirt

Nope. I'm pretty fortunate at this point in life.

And I'm banking on you making the 15! Call it an investment in your future

Thanks bro...You may as well just send it now then haha. Jk. Not sure if I can hit the 15, but I am sure I can give a tremendous effort whether I fail or succeed.

We all know you got this easy! like me eating a whole Tub of chocolate almond ice cream!

Been slowly getting through this, your logs are great bro! I'm on my first ever serious cut at the minute and struggle with eating 2000 kcals let alone what you are! But I lost 6lb in 2 weeks switching to keto! It was about 2-4lb a week after that so most of it was water and glycogen but still I'd say 15 is more than possible if you stick your head down with the cals you're on! I'm another one who struggled with motivation to do cardio, you what I started off with? Getting up half an hour earlier and went for a long walk, 2 months later I'm doing 40 mins med intensity on a bike or treadmill and feel so much better for it! You got this bro, stick to your guns and your goals are always achievable!

In! Good luck brother. Hopefully you don't go so damn hardcore this time and break down. Here's a thought, how about going hard 4-6 weeks then a 2 week tracked diet break and repeat?

Yeah, I can do that easy too! MMmmmmm, Iiiiiccee creeam.

Brother - if you're losing weight like that on 2,000 calories/day, I can't see any reason to go below that. That is tremendous progress. I'm not sure what my issue is, but no matter what I don't ever go into ketosis. Even when fasting, it's kind of a mess. I know keto sticks aren't totally accurate, but my gf went on a fast with me once and she had them dark purple...mine are either in none or trace no matter what I do.

And...yeah....I gotta be real about the cardio. That is kind of my plan - start waking up earlier and bang it out. Once you're in the routine it isn't so bad. It can actually be a good time - listen to audio books and learn stuff while getting some exercise.

In! Good luck brother. Hopefully you don't go so damn hardcore this time and break down. Here's a thought, how about going hard 4-6 weeks then a 2 week tracked diet break and repeat?

Haha - you actually hit the nail on the head! That is exactly the plan in the back of my mind. We are shooting for 15 pounds the first 30 days, then maybe try to take off anoter 5 over 2 weeks, then pull off the gas heavily and maybe take a break or just ease the last 5-10 pounds off over another 4-6 weeks. That's if I need to get to 160....I was at 165 before and with any luck I will be even more ripped at 165 this time around.

Today's weigh in:

Bodyweight: 187 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 24.7%
Waist: 39.75"

Weight is dropping, bodyfat % going up...stupid scales. I know it will happen on the other end too though - I will stop losing it and my bodyfat will be dropping at some point too. The waist going down is the big thing I think.

I keep forgetting my epitome dose and just took it at 12 PM today. It's probably the most important thing for me to be taking in my mind, and dsade keeps telling me the same thing. Took DCP, BMP, Brite, Ammo, Bromelain this morning. Took the Epitome at 12, took DCP and Brite around 12:40.

Had a coffee with a scoop of protein powder and 2 tablespoons MCT oil this morning, and I'm about to eat 1 cup of egg beaters with 1.5 oz. reduced fat cheese. I may have another shake this afternoon before I life. We will see how my appetite is.

Despite the lack of energy last night, gonna try to keep pushing and do another workout tonight.

It's because of all the metabolic damage I have sustained from PSMF? I don't know. The workouts are hard but eating more doesn't really ever seem to make them easier...
I like to think it was the the HIT4MEs of our species who succeded in leading and feeding the last remaining women accross the barren glaciers of Europe to return to Africa and Asia and quickly reassert our species position at the top of the food chain.

Haha I've put on weight this last week but I'm running a cycle of epistane (probably helping a lot haha) first month was just keto when I lost 10lbs and 3%bf! Must have been carrying a lot of water! I'm now at 191lb 14% from 205 ~18%. I've never used a device to see if I'm in keto, I just assume I am because I haven't eaten over 15g net carbs a day in over 2 months haha I use my cardio to listen to pod casts, I recommend the joe rogan experience or the church of what's happening now if you're more into comedy :)

Haha - all these guys on here finding epistane...I need to get some cash together. Haha.

I am going to try to find those suggestions...I typically listen to music or audiobooks. One that carried me for a long time that is applicable to the discussion of losing weight is called, "The Power of Habit."

It is awesome.

Haha...Hmmmm....I would like to think that too, but getting ONE woman to do as I say is tough enough. If I had to lead a bunch of women through glaciers; I have a feeling they would stand there watching me walk off into a white haze and saying..."I am not going with him. Something's not right with that one."

Tonight's workout, HST A:

Squats
1 x 8 x 225 warm up
1 x 7 x 295

Straight Legged Deadlifts
1 x 10 x 300

Pull Ups
1 x 9 x bw + 15

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 135 warm up
1 x 9 x 200 (just can't seem to get #10!!!!)

Military Presses
1 x 8 x 120

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 10 x 95

Rope Press Downs
1 x 8 x 52.5

Barbell Curls
1 x 5 x 75

I definitely pulled a muscle in my lower abdomen/groin last night doing deads. I don't think I herniated anything...It isn't excruciating and is more of a pain when bending over or forcing my hips forward. Squats didn't hurt at all, straight Legged deads did upset it.

Before the workout, my quads were stiff as could be especially the side of my leg from my hip down the outer side of my leg. But it didn't hinder anything. It was just stiff.

Diet today has been a coffee shake with a scoop of protein powder and 2 tbsp MCT oil, 1 cup egg beaters, 1.5 oz. Reduced fat cheese, another coffee, protein and MCT oil shake, 2 tbsp peanut butter, a post workout scoop of protein in water, and 8 oz. Of chicken. And a bag of broccoli.

That all puts me around 1600 calories for the day...Not so great. About 175 grams protein, 85 grams fat, 25 g carbs I think.

Not bad...But a little too much fat...Although it got me through the workout.

Hit4ME, You might need to rest.
