First Cycle Log: Test C & OL DMZ

Alright no redness or bruising this morning. Maybe some very slight swelling, but it's probably in my head. Still some pain, nothing debilitating though. Not like I'll be limping around all day lol. I had 4 whole eggs cooked in a tablespoon of butter, a small slice of this cinnamon nut bread my mom makes during the holidays, and some black coffee for breakfast
 
I plan on just staying boring and doing glutes, delts, and maybe quads but Ive heard the pip from quads can be pretty brutal. I also considered a subcutaneous pin in the abdomen just for ease and convenience but I'm pretty sure it alters the absorption rate. Now whether or not this would actual affect anything, I don't know. I'm too afraid of hitting a nerve to pin some of the more adventurous spots lol.
 
Quads you will eventually hit a nerve. Shoulders always bruise for me, but biceps is my favorite. For subQ, I like knee cap skin fold with 1/2 inch.
 
Well I was going to hit the gym when I got off work tonight, but they closed early because of New Year's Day. Looks like I'm getting up at 4 am tomorrow for a quick squat sesh before work.
 
Had my first workout of the cycle this morning bright and early at 5AM.

Official starting weight: 156.8 lbs (71.3 kilos)


Started the DMZ this morning as well.

Preworkout Breakfast
20mg DMZ (1 cap), 4 caps arimicare pro, 4 whole eggs, 1 tablespoon of butter, 2 pieces toast, and some black coffee.

Training - Lower Body - Squat Focus

Low bar back squat
175lbs x 3sets x 3 paused reps

Olympic Style Front Squat
115lbs x 4sets x 6 reps, as explosive as possible

Superset - Standing Calves and Lying Leg Curls

I didnt note the weights on these, as I think feeling the muscle work and getting a good stretch is more important than the weight on machine movements.
3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise.



I usually do a little more than this, but the earliest my gym opens is 5 and I have to leave for work around 615 so I was pretty pressed for time. I'll be hitting upper body tomorrow morning though and Im off all day so it should be a good one. Hope to get some pics up soon too.

Good luck man, and it's easy to pin too fast with 21g!! Would consider a 3rd location (2 glutes and 1 other) just because of the 21g. Less trauma, less frequently. I like pinning, but 21g x 1.5 would make me shiver.

Well I'll be using a 23gx1 for everywhere now I think. I work at a hospital so any leftover supplies from opened surgical kits or similar supplies they just throw out so I occasionally am able to take some of them home with me which is how I got the 21gx1.5 but it was the only one I had lol. I've got a whole box of 23s though. Also just to clarify, the pin was still sealed in the sterile plastic wrapping. Don't want anyone thinking I used a dirty pin lol.
 
So quick question about arimidex dosing. Should I go ahead and start taking like 0.25 eod starting next week just to safeguard or you think I will be ok until I'm done with the dmz? I know 300 of Test is pretty low so I'm not sure if I'll even need it, but I'm thinking better safe than sorry. Also I'm planning on getting some blood work done in week 4.

Workout went good. Checked my bp when I got home from the gym. 124/78. Pulse was 81. Took some before pics. Will post either later tonight or tomorrow.

I had a dirty cheat meal for lunch and pigged out hard at a chinese buffet afterwards. Ate 2 heaping plates full of chicken on a sticks, sushi, lo mein, and broccoli.

Afterwards I ran some errands, and then took an epic 2 and a half hour nap when i got home. Woke up, ate a plate of the chicken and rice I prepped a couple days ago.

Thats all of got to say for now. So far, so good!

Welcome! Glad to have you. And yes I remember the first time I took creatine and my parents found out. My dad proceeded to lecture me about how back in his day when people wanted to put on muscle they didn't use any crazy powders, just good ol' beans and cornbread. Lol. I guess it really wasn't horrible advice now that I think about it

Idk if it's placebo or just coincidence but I felt awesome in the gym today. Aggressive, alpha, well being, all of the good stuff. Weights felt really light. I had to hold myself back on deadlifts. Also I woke up thinking that I'd probably be kinda bloated due to all the Chinese food I ate yesterday, but surprisingly I wasn't! I know too soon to say, but maybe this some of the glycogen loading effects of DMZ already? Or maybe its just coincidence. Either way, I'll take it lol.

Im about to hop in the shower and pin my left delt.
 
Ok just pinned 0.75ml into my left delt with a 23x1. This shot went MUCH better than my first one. heated the oil up just in between my hands for a couple minutes. Aspirated, pinned nice and slow ~45 seconds. Held pressure to the site for 1 minute afterwards. Very little pip. We'll see how it feels tomorrow.

Nice! Well done, sir. I always felt like my delts experienced less sensitivity when it came to pinning than the glutes or quads. You think you'll begin alternating delts weekly for pinning?

Most likely. I'll probably still stick the glutes every once in a while just to give the tissue time to heal. I may give the quad a go eventually just so I can say I've done it. 23x1 would be ok for quads too right?

300 test is moderate, but .25mg/eod of adex is also relatively low. I would start that protocol and stick to it.

I would also wait until week 6-7 to get blood work
 
I'd wait until you see if you really need it. AI's can limit your gains and AI is a drug - don't take drugs if you don't need them lol

I was thinking towards the end of week 4 or early week 5 to see if the dmz had any effect on my liver enzymes more out of curiosity than anything. I've upped water consumption significantly and basically my rule of thumb is if my pee isn't almost clear than I'm not drinking enough. I'm also willing to get bloods done more than once so I'll consider going again later on in the cycle.

Shouldn't it only limit gains if I crash my estrogen? I could be wrong, but that was my understanding

Gotcha. It does make sense for checking those other markers to do them at that time.

I have found what dose of AI works for me for whatever dose of test or other compounds I'm running and I stick to it. I don't wait for a feeling or a side to show up. Yes, it's all about balance. Just because you don't feel it doesn't mean your e2 isn't in the 80-100+ range. Overblown hype in my opinion that running an AI at a proper dose is going to hinder your gains in some way. Key word being, "proper". Elevated estrogen has health risks that aren't necessarily felt. But if the difference between 12 and 14 pounds is worth the imbalance, then by all means get those 2 extra lbs.

Appreciate it! I think I'll go ahead and start it up at low dose soon. My blood work from last summer showed my estrogen at high normal anyways (40, reference range being 8-43). I'm not sure if this means I naturally aromatize at a high rate or what, but I thought that was a bit unsettling since I'd never taken anything. Not even a test booster or natty anabolic.
 
Today and tomorrow are both rest days for me. I'll resume training this weekend. My delt is feeling good today. Hardly any pip compared to how my glute felt at first. My hamstrings are sore af from yesterday's deadlift session.
 
Day 6

Weighed in at 158.3 (+1.5lbs) this morning. Been pounding the carbs, so maybe its water/glycogen. Idk, but I am not anywhere near as bloated as i normally would be after ingesting as many carbs as i have been the past few days.

Training - Upper Body

Warm up consisted of flat db bench w/ light weights and some arms circle. I always take time to warm up a little longer on days i flat bench. It's really made a difference in my overall shoulder health I feel.

Pump felt a little stronger than normal today, even though I was training more for power and explosiveness. I'm willing to bet if I bump the dmz up to 40mg and train more "pump focused", they would be crazy intense.

So that was all I did today. I was so winded after all the front squats and lunges. I guess Ive gotten so used to training in lower rep ranges that my cardio/endurance has gone down some lol. Pumps were on point today. Quads will most likely be sore tomorrow. Also starting to get some back pumps. I'll pick up some taurine next time I get paid.

Pinned left glute after I got home and showered. Went pretty well even though I was a little unsteady with my left hand. I know I got in the muscle good this time, I could like feel the needle puncturing the fascia. Idk hard to explain. Also I forgot to aspirate at the beginning so I did like midway through. No blood, but I did get a little bubbles. Finished the shot like normal, bubbles and all. I hope thats not a big deal. Feeling kinda retarded right now for not paying closer attention to aspirate at the beginning. No immediate pip at all which is surprising considering my right glute was pretty bad almost instantly. Pip is finally completely gone in my right glute as of yesterday. Took about 5 or 6 days to completely go away.

Decided against my other delt because my left one is still a little sore and I want to keep one delt pin free so I have something to compare it to in case it gets swollen or something. My left is a little tender, but no redness or swelling. Its weird that I can still feel pip in my left delt, but its like below where I pinned, not around the injection site at all. I guess some of it went subq or something??

PIP can be a pain in the ass. Literally! For me it's never the same for each ejection. PIP can last for one day then the next time I jab, it can last for seven. It sucks, but it's worth it. Keep up the good work!

I also wanted to add that I'm already experiencing some testicular shrinkage, which really surprised me. I may be looking into HCG after all.. I'll have to read up on it more. I've read a bunch of conflicting stuff. Some say it's a life saver and others say it's a waste and actually more harmful than good. More research will have to be done before I reach a solid conclusion.

The only reason people are afraid of hcg is because they think it converts to estrogen which it doesn't. Hcg can increase estrogen only by increasing your own test production. Your balls start working again and producing more test that also converts to estrogen

I'm running test and tbol will be adding hcg around week 3

Day 8 (3rd pin today doing test e 250 twice a week) loving the energy and pumps starting dosing tbol 50 mg hour before workout. Still heard tbol takes about two weeks to fully kick in so I'll be running it 6-7 weeks at 50 mg

Damn so we started almost the exact same time lol. I'm liking the pumps I've seen from dmz so far too. I'll be switching up my training style around week 3 and adding in some more volume so I'll really be able to tell then, but I have a feeling it's gonna be oh so good.

Yeah just read through your old log. Sounds like it worked nicely for you. One thing I've definitely noticed that it sounds like you did too is the ability to eat tons and still somehow wake up leaner. You have any issues with recovery?

Not to bad ran otc pct with nolva only problem was loosing that alpha feeling haha. And lost a few pounds but over all happy with my cycle. Dmz will be in a future cycle for sure!
Went from 205 to 218 then down to like 213 after pct
 
Actually have everything for a dmz/ 1 Andro/ sup3r dhea cycle after my test cycle and off time. 1 Andro / sup3r dhea 1-8 weeks dmz 1-6 weeks

sorry for hijacking the thread now, but what is your plan for the DMZ+1-Andro cycle in terms of dosage? I am preparing a DMZ-based cycle too, and was wondering if I should go "light" with 1-Andro, or full bore with Msten.

1 Andro 330mg weeks 1-8
1.5 -2 pumps sup3r dhea weeks 1-8
Dmz 30 mg weeks 1-4/6

Will run dmz as a kick starter for the Andro and run it atleast 4 weeks maybe a few more depending on how I feel.
 
Good plan. I wanted to do something similar with 5 weeks of DMZ and 6-7 of Andro... unfortunately, I only have enough caps to run at 220mg, and at that point, it's probably better to just go with Msten and save Andro for a future stack.

Bumping this. Its still tender when I raise my arm up or press on it, but otherwise I cant feel it. Its a couple inches BELOW where I pinned. Like right where my lateral delt meets my bicep. Its been about 4.5 days since the shot, it doesnt seem to be getting better or worse. I can maybe see a faint red rash the size of a half dollar coin around the area, but it may just be in my head. This paranoia is killing me. I feel like such a dumb ass for even asking as like I said I'm sure it just newb paranoia but still.. Sat in the sauna for a few minutes both yesterday and today. Took a really hot shower and rubbed the sh1t out of the area, but it still doesnt seem to be improving. Also the injection site itself is completely fine. But the fact that this area is below it is really puzzling me. I guess I didnt pin deep enough, but I mean holy sh1t I buried the 1 incher in my delt... Am i overreacting?
 
Eh I mean I wouldn't call it an overreaction, I had something similar last cycle where i had pip for 3 days after then out of no where massive fluid build up in my left tricep, and I had no idea why. But a couple hot showers/baths later, a bunch of ibuprofen, and a few days and I was as good as new. These things happen, I would give it at least a week before you may want to consider seeing a doctor. The human body is pretty amazing at internal repairs, and I'm sure it'll just take some time. (In my expierences rubbing the area to much leads to more inflammation, I prefer doing lateral raises under some really hot water. To each their own though)
 
If the pain and swelling doesn't get better or even gets worse after about 7 days then go to the doctor. Bacterial infections under the skin can lead to a lot of problems. Better safe than sorry

edit: completely normal for the pain and swelling to be below where you pinned when you hit delts....gravity!
