My first car was an 88 firebird formula 350, sky blue with t-tops and it was nasty. Now? Go figure-Silver Nissan Titan 4x4 with 3.5" lift, 33x12.50x18 mud slingers, 3" dual exhaust with H pipe and 3.5" tips behind the rear wheels, cold air intake and a UpRev Tuner pushing me to 400HP(397 I think) . Want a 6" lift, but things got in the way
 
1965 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 camper special. With the camper on it, complete with largemouth bass & whitetail deer decals. Had a lot of fun with that truck over the years.
 
Studhorse how many flat tires did you get as a kid? I was telling somebody the other day that it seems like I had a flat tire at least twice a month when I was younger. Now, I couldn't tell you the last time I had a flat tire.

Nothing wrong with that man! Im sure it made you appreciate things more. And that firebird of mine? All mine. Bought it once I got put of boot camp, with my money. Dad wouldn't but my shyt because he wanted me to earn everything I wanted. Made me get a job bagging groceries at 14 so I could buy a bike, and spent several summers here in NC( I lived just outside of DC) to work on my Uncles Tobacco farm.

NICE! my first car was an 85 firebird.. red no t-tops only v6 so it was soooo sloooww.. lol 2nd car was a 95 trans am ws6 , white t-tops .. it was beastly!
 
First car was a 2012 hundai Genesis lol no I wasn't spoiled , I dropped out of high school to work full time to afford it lmfao
 
I never actually bought a car until I got married. Always second hands from my idiot sister who trashed them and I fixed them.

Don't think I ever had a flat? Got stuck in a field next to an elementary school cutting donuts in the snow. Time I got back with my buddy and his jeep there were 4 cop cars there. Oh fu ck I got in big ass trouble over that one.
 
I have a question for all your gods of the iron.
For about 3 years now I perform on less sleep than I use to. Is this normal as you get older, you need less sleep?
I average 6-7 hours a night. With the occasional 9 hrs on the weekend if I have the chance.

I never get nine hours anymore. Rarely eight. I feel like I do well in the 5-6 range. For several months I was only getting 4 hours. I don't sleep well anymore and I'd rather just be up. But I do crash. Last night I got about 5. That's been the average this past couple weeks. Today about 1 I fell asleep for an hour. Didn't even mean to. Now I'm wide awake. Lol. The body only needs 4 hours asleep to function properly. 8 is the recommended. To each his own I guess.
 
I feel like crap with less than 9. My watch will say I got 5-6 when I'm in bed 9. Seems I'm a horrible sleeper. When j was a kid, I could sleep 12 hours. So I guess I'm still trending in a similar direction. :)
 
I didn't sleep much as a kid. I know I slept well. I would wake up ready to go. But I was always going. Between sports girls and school. Lol. Now it's like ugh. I hate being an adult/parent just let me sleep. Lol

As one old facker to another, yes. Unassisted, I'm doing good if I sleep 7 hours, 6 is more likely. There are a few occasions when I can't sleep, so i sit up and post on AM with bighulksmash. I don't think I've ever slept more than 8 hours at once, even as a kid. Dream N Grow can be a great thing, and is something that I'll probably always have on hand.

Studhorse Its a known fact that the older you get the less sleep you get. Used to be said that the older ages REQUIRED less, but new studies have shown that stress, medication and anxiety disrupts sleep in people the older they are. I cant find the study that I read a few years ago, but this one essentially says the same thing.

Thanks for posting this! Didn't really like what it had to say but hey it is what it is. at this rate by time i'm 70 I will only need to sleep a few hours a day!

good thing for me Is I sleep like a baby! I have to get up once to piss but I drink 32oz of water before i go to bed.

It is wat I have to do . I can't control my emotions for people who hurt kids . Its best b4 I kill someone that iam not on the "round-up" unit anymore. Now I get to attack random people that download bad stuff . Bug them and manipulate them , see how they like it :D

I get 4-5 and am fine. Aside from being grumpy and drop sh1t all the time. Oh and the tremors.

I'm up every 2 hours at least. Kind of hoping it's the low T and fixable. Just about everything else I've tried hasn't worked. Some things help to an extent, but never really get deep sleep.
