That's good. So did they offer to drain it? I've had that done. It's a mega needle and it's killer but they give you a local and 30 minutes later it's MUCH better. Could swell again but might heal faster if they do it twice or so.
 
Monday is not too bad. If you need to take it easy for a week you can split your HST in 1/2 for 6 days instead of 3 days. This would keep the intensity down or split 2 in half for 4 days to see how you feel.
Are they concerned about the bacteria traveling some where else in you blood?

They were going to until they found out is was infected.

Oh wait I missed this. Damn. So not an excessive load or bad form injury. Jesus, it is a good thing you went back. I doubt they'll drain it in that case. They question how it happened?

Yeah. They said if my heart rate was high, there is a possibility for it to get into the bloodstream and spread further. It had already started to go into my quad on that leg.

You will know if it has spread to other parts of your body, the feeling of being hit with a baseball bat and stabbed with a knife from the slightest movement and 100+ degree temp is a dead give away. I know this from first hand near death experience..

It could be. I've never had any infection from needles.

Yeah should be good by them. They said the the elevated temp around the knee will subside and then I'll be good to go. They prescribed Ceimisin or something like that. They said its the strongest they have for skin infections.

Try out some MRSA. I nearly died from that. I'll take the kidney stones also. They had to remove some flesh from me to get rid of it.

Anyways I think we're probably freaking brandinooooo out and he's got the medical attention he needed so - I think you'll be good bro. Just do whatever they tell you to and go back if you think anything is wrong.

I have no idea what it is called. My mom got diagnosed with bacterial phnmonia on Wednesday and she was getting some depression but the Dr. Had told her the antabotic may cause this.

Oh they suck don't get me wrong. Atleast I know I just have to take the pain until it passes. An infection in the blood stream can fu ck you up long term. Just saying take off how long the dr says. The gym will still be there!

MRSA in my left hand knuckle and three joints in my chest, 4 weeks in hospital, 5 operations and a further 8 weeks with iv antibiotics. Only a cheeky 22lbs lost in that ordeal.

Ha, Yeah man, you know I've been sick these last few days and I'm on PCT and I feel the same way. You want to get as much off of the sauce as you can but you also don't want to lay back during PCT either... Or ever really. Breaking that routine and all.

I personally have the tenancy to get pissed off if I miss a workout regardless and will tend to overdo it as a result. I've memories of going to hit the bench press with a knee brace on, and going to attempt to do anything when I had bronchitis... Probably not wise, lol.

Get well fast brandinooooo, and do take it easy.

Thanks for the feed back. Most of us on here are addicted to the iron and have a very hard time staying away and resting when needed.
That is something I had a hard time with, still do after 35+ years of lifting.
HST has probably helped more than anything with the mandatory de-condenced phase.
 
Just found out someone hit my car sometime in the past couple days. Have a big chunk missing out of my right headlight and a chunk missing out of my bumper. Super pissed.


And I still haven't gotten my Kraken I preordered. Starting to get very impatient. If it doesn't ship out Monday, then I'm canceling the order.

I just found out that my Aunt actually backed into it today in our driveway. Instead of waking me up to tell me before I washed it and got a bunch of water in the headlight, she waited till I was super pissed and told my grandparents. Then acted like she didn't know she ruined my headlight only put the hole in the bumper.

And I just found out someone stole my kitten at my work and posted it on Corinth Buy, Sell, and Trade. And I'm pretty sure I know who it is because a lady tried stealing it while I was at work one day and I caught her doing it. And if it is her, shes going to regret it majorly.

Had an employee years ago steal some parts and put them in the local paper for sale. Long story short should have seen his face when he opened the front door thinking I was a potential buyer.
