Donald Trump running for president

The US has a low freedom index because Washington pisses on its laws and the Constitution they swore in to protect.

I'm not saying they don't, however it's just kind of funny that the very things you guys think make you free in comparison to a country where the government intervenes a little bit more, actually don't make you any more free than a country with these things.

As of 2016 we sit at #3. The US at #11. Interesting.

I dunno who "you guys" are, but everybody has an opinion and its their own.

The very things "I" think make me free are very limited in the USA, health care policies being only a small part of the limitation. I dunno who is proclaiming this is a free country because its not, its a police state big government high interventionist welfare state catastrophe under martial law.

I was making a generalisation based on the things that you guys protect that make you free (guns, healthcare, and that you want less govt. Intervention) yet countries with less guns, more govt intervention in things like schooling and healthcare have a greater freedom index.

Haha, I take for granted what we have here, however the thought process is much different to the US. We have subsidized schooling and healthcare which goes against some of the Americans sense of freedom, even despite the fact NZ has a higher freedom index than the US. I find that very ironic, lol.

Always keep in mind, its going to be far more easier managing socialist systems in a country that has about half the population of NYC 4.4 million vs some 300 million and we have wide open borders here and alot of other social and political issues that are unheard of in NZ. Remember, this is the country where we take better care of illegal immigrants flooding the borders than our vets injured in VA hospitals. If you want a good sample of how interventionist government backed health care works in the USA look at how the VA hospital were letting vets die in hospital basements and closets waiting for their death for treatable illnesses to cut costs.

Hey, I might have to consider moving there!! But you guys better have tin foil on your supermarket shelves in stock for me! LOL

Who are those people?

It's Obama's minions. The short dark hair lady with glasses is the iranian puppet master, Valerie Jarrett. THE red hair lady next to her is the State Department spokesperson, can't think of her name. Whenever you see her doing a press conference, it always looks like she's on a SNL skit the way the room is set up and the camera set up. Add to that the crap out of her mouth is usually hysterically full of BS, and you get my point.

All the butt hurt anti elecoral college people need to slow down. All the votes have yet to be counted, and CNN is now predicting TRUMP will win the popular vote once they are. There is only 93% counted so far. If the Clinton cry bullies haven't jumped off the bridge yet, this will surely push them over the edge if he does win more popular votes.

I just can't take anyone that uses the word "woke" as an adjective seriously.

Agreed. They were asking if Greg Pop was the most "woke" coach yesterday on SportsNation and i honestly had no fuggin idea what they meant before they explained it.

Mainly all my friends, but we can always add more to the group. :)

LOL. I try to stay out of these conversation. I'm too much of a joker to get serious about whether a president wins the welfare vote or not. oops I mean popular vote. see there I go again.

It's not suprising to many that the lefty "protests" aren't organic. Looks like someone found a bunch of buses. JUST because the election is iver, doesn't mean the left will change their tactics. They've been using the same ones since the 60's.

Not with Trump in office. Christie has a hard on against drugs, and might be the next AG. Hell, he won't even support marijuana legalization.

Yea heroine legalization is far fetch for the US, I don't understand how liberal NY won't legalize marijuana, especially with the success in Colorado.

imho had they just come out and voted they would not be in this situation in the first place. From what I see her turnout was underwhelming. I honestly expected a different result.

We have medical marijuana in pill form now so it's heading the right direction.

Dump will expand the war on drugs it's in his 100 day plan. Not specifically but he will.

It's regressive as hell.
Yea I seems like almost full blown socialism. Medical marijuana is in NY but only certain doctors can give the card out and insurance can't pay for it. It's like 300-600$ a session.

I won't be surprised if he does, but domestically it may be a different ball game in certain aspects outside the growth of government generally.

I'll admit, if he truly does shake up and clean up Washington too, I'll be a bit happier as well. Too many lifers/back scratchers/corruption. But we'll see.

First 100 day plan has term limits...let's see if it gets on table and if lifers vote yes.

He promised that, let's see. If so, it gives me a small amount of respect for him. Very small, but still ;)

and that is a lot coming from you

stopping in for a quick hello to everyone- hope your candidate won

if not, remember, you dont have to like him, but as an American support your President

i think he'll hsve the upper hand going in if they want to play dirty. He's pretty much exposed and still won. There's still a lot of dirt in that place. A lot.

Drain that swamp! Drain that swamp!

These protesters are weakening our democracy in the eyes of the world. It is what it is.

What I'd like the failed pollsters to poll is how many of these protesters are registered voters and actually voted for Hillary or anyone for that matter.

Many citizens wants to practice the convenient rights they are empowered with like the right to peaceful demonstration when they want to complain but are lazy when it comes to taking responsibility and accountability for creating the change that they want to see.

How many are felons? How many are illegal? How many are band wagoners?

I'm not minimizing but these are valid points regarding accountability regarding the "freedoms" and "rights" they practice. They shoot people in other places for doing this. The honor and value and respect for these freedoms and rights need to be reciprocal.

Any of you guys hear about the Muslim college student that got robbed by a couple Trump supporters? That's crazy!

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if some racist Trump graffiti was done by people who dislike him. By that I mean it may not be intended as "yeah, Trump is great, let's make America white again," but as "Trump is a racist (Nazi)." I'm sure there's some of both going on.

Possibly, but you can't deny that the white supremacists in this country are emboldened now.

Just like the link I posted. Someone creating a red herring in order to further their agenda. Its even easier to paint graffiti and blame it on someone, than going to the police and straight lying about being assaulted and robbed by a racist.

More lib douchebaggery. He says any one that feels scared to work for him can count on him to protect them. After he has disparaged all of his employees that voted for Trump . And says they should consider resigning. OF course he would never fire them foe their political beliefs because that's discrimination.

Of course, it's all a conspiracy. I should have known!

Thanks for making me aware of the hidden agenda!

Alt-right wingers really are part of an absurdly ridiculous ideology.
