Q & A FOR OR1GIN

Just a quick poll. I'm doing strength training. How many of you are doing strength and how many of you are doing hypertrophy/bodybuilding style training?

Just thinking about this a bit more, can you let me know your dosing schedule and Peri workout nutrition (also other supps you are using) as well.

I dose 3 times a day 1 before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Ive been on off days so I go after breakfast which has consisted of eggs and either ham, spam, or sausage general Mexican breakfast. An hour before workout I will take triumph and then CU before heading to gym but at times I will take it post workout if I feel too full. Post workout usually consists of a protein shake with a small meal usually with chicken and rice and those times triumph if not had before workout. Training is body split single muscle group twice a week first workout of week is a pyramid up to a heavy double-triple on main compound then 3x8-10 on accesorry lifts. s
Second workout of week is 5x5 on main compound lift and then 3x10-12 on accessory lifts. Total calories are maintenance

ahhh there's the problem.

no donuts or pop tarts before and after training. add those in and strength will return.

xtyler what ingredients in supplements that should be avoided so it won't effect nutrition absorbation, for example I want use a GDA like Glycophase ,I'm trying to avoid anything that would interfere with or1gin, cos I have read NoAddedHmones said one of the products in question had something that can interfere with nutrition absorbation .

Glycophase and other GDAs have ingredients that block carbs. Probably should avoid using GDAs anyway except for high carb cheats.

ok im confused cos I asked him about GDA earlier in thread he said should be fine, but i see ur point.

If that's the case, just eat more carbs
Gymnema sylvestre extract is the main ingredient in a GDA that will slow absorption/block carbs, but imo it isn't too a large degree.

BTW aanyone noticed any leaning effects while bulking?
I'm not bulking per se, but I've been eating pretty bad lately but at or slightly above maintenance yet getting leaner by the day. Weight has gone back up a few pounds but I'm def leaner than I was. I don't have a large hunger increase and I have to be careful about taking origin too late as it has a stim-like effect on me.

awesome bro, cos I would like to keep the way I look after trenavar, what a compound...

The problem is not the Glucose Disposal effect of a product itself.
An issue may arise when you stack Orig1n with ingredients that impair intestinal absorption of nutrients. This would make a poor combo.

cool yeah ill probably not mess with GDA , will control diet and keep the gainz coming.

What's the half life on this? Also has anyone try 4 caps per day? I might up it just because I'm trying to get in an extra meal.

Half life of what? There're four different ingredients.
I doubt you'll ever need more than 3 caps unless you're over 250lbs.

I don't know about Glucophage, but another similar product SlinMax does not have any blocking ingredients that I saw. Mainly just nutrient partitioning and GDA effects (top 3 ingredients were Na-R-ALA, Agmatine and Berberine). I use it on my larger carb meals, usually more for later afternoon meals than early morning/day ones. My main question is around "duplicating effort" between those ingredients and the digestive benefits of Orig1n, or if they could be more synergistic, where the better digestion from Orig1n give the nutrient partitioning aspects of SlinMax more nutrients to work with?

I do know that I stopped AnaBeta Elite shortly after I started Orig1n, I did try to overlap a little, and had asked in this thread about running them together, since I had a couple of weeks of ABE left, but it seems that once I built up my saturation of Orig1n they did not "play well" together. I think that Orig1n will be better overall and appears to have the same effects as ABE, so I am sticking with Ori for now. I hope that the gains keep coming and maybe get even better on Ori solo :)

I ran Test1fy (with the Ana Pyr) & Or1gin together ... hunger was intense af. I am not going to lie, had a couple unplanned cheats (+5k) lol

But I was killing it in the gym even immediately after eating.

Nice, but my doc started me on TRT (just 3 weeks ago) so I don't do much with test boosters any more (and have a few left over too *sigh*).

I do want to say that I don't use SlinMax during the same meals I take Orig1n with/before. And I do take Ori PWO (since my morning PWO/peri/post drinks do constitute "one of my largest meals" on workout days). One of the times, before Ori, I did take a GDA/Partitioner w/ a bunch of carbs PWO, wow, what a workout. I do drink carbs + protein as part of my PWO, and my workouts have improved in intensity lately, maybe it is the Ori kicking in a little? (I thought it was the TRT starting to take affect, but maybe it is a bit of both). :)

With Berberine direct inhibition of carbohydrate digestive enzymes appears to be not overly strong but still present. Prolonged treatment of Berberine causes a reduction in synthesis of the enzymes that mediate sugar absorption (lactose, sucrose, and maltose) with possible inhibition of the enzyme mediating starch absorption.

Would that inhibition (from both acute and long term usage) affect only the initial break down of those simple carbs (causing them to be digested further down in the intestine, making them act more like complex carbs)? Or would it inhibit the total absorption? I thought that there was a different enzyme for the slower break down of carbs? But I do not consider myself an expert by any stretch. And more importantly (to this thread) how does the digestion at the various points within the digestive tract effect (positive or negative) the positive impacts of taking Orig1n?

Thanks for the great info!

Man, I can't wait to start using this stuff. I have 2 bottles just sitting in my cabinet to use but I'm running a log right now with something else. Stuff sounds awesome.

I should just pick up a few more bottles while they're on sale so I'll be stocked for the next 6 months or so :)

Do it! I should have gotten more during the pre sale

Guys, you really overcomplicate things so much. :D

That's like asking what's better suited for picking up sloots, a big cawk or lotsa $$

Hahahaha :D

But can some of reps answer some of my questions:

Can I poop right after taking Or1gin or should I wait?
Could rice or pasta inhibit any of the ingredients found in Or1gin?
Would I loose any gains while taking Or1gin and having sex?

I always regret asking a question on this forum. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes I guess.

My answer, whilst a little flippant, did indicate how difficult it can be to answer some questions definitively.

Either product could be beneficial during a recomp; both will tend to have "immediate" benefits and "long term" benefits. Recomping as a natty, for me, is a looong gradual process. Short term results tend to be subtle. At this stage I personally don't see either product being universally better than the other (for a recomp)...it will ultimately come down to personal experimentation.

Im sure you are familiar with most of the ingredients in TR1UMPH. Both products will help with training/body comp in different ways. Due to this, Id be inclined to run both. But, either/or? I'd try OR1GIN if you want something new to test (we're all familiar with PA/creatine/etc).

About two weeks down on Orig1n. Had a week from hell.... Crazy work schedule, break up with girlfriend of 4 years, minimal sleep, and an unintentional significant caloric deficit.... Yet somehow, every workout has resulted in either a PR, or has been very, very close to setting one. Can't ask for much worse conditions, but I am very happy with Orig1n.

I am sorry to hear about the break up with your gf. I hope you can continue to hit the gym and live the life so you feel less pain
