I had an abscess on a finger once. I was working on a car and must have cut my nail bed and it got infected and hurt like heck. I decided to it it open and...well...whenever you want h movies and people. It themselves, it is just a movie. Psychologically it is more difficult to do than you think. I was using a razor sharp knife, that I sharpened and polished myself and is way sharper than most people are used to, and even with that it took more pressure than I thought to break through the skin and cut deep enough to get the puss out. Was not easy at all. Maybe with practice, but first few times it shocks you when you think you have plenty of pressure and you drag the knife and it barely cuts at all.
 
Why not try puncturing it with a needle? Seems like that would be way less painful. I had a cyst on my nose and hitting it with a needle allowed it to open up and the goods inside to escape.

Gonna buy it at amazon, problem is, until it arrives (2-3weeks) my azz falls off. LOL
 
Today arrived TB-500, jabbed it in my delt, hopefully it cures my knees and brings the shoulder to 100%.

Seated row: 230lbs x20 rp 13
Cable flies 2x35lbs 20/17/15/16/12/12/10/7
lots of other stuff...

Still recomping at maintenance cals -or slightly under.

Today's workout I forced to the limits. Have to go to the farm, no gym (or AM forum) for 3-5 days. My lake is losing water and I have to repair it before all the farm turns into a swamp.
Got a new belt with chain to attach weights, today was the first try doing chin ups (before that I used leg strap-on weights......<---enter strap-on joke here).
A PT came over and said: "Lot's of strength, can't do more than two reps with the big plate."
LOL, that was an unexpected compliment, even though I don't give much about local PT's.
 
Yes, pull ups are so much better with the belt. And to be doing it with 45 pounds at your weight is impressive for sho.

Very extremely jealous of them weighted pull ups - I just barely recently started to be able to knock out sets of 5s regular pu without cheating. My DREAM is to add a 45!

Pu/Cu is about technique I guess (you have to do swimming motions froggy leg stile). kidding
As soon as you do them more often, it gets easier.
 
HGP, since you moved to a recomp situation you might try it with a 20/20 split, training days eat in a 20% surplus and rest days 20% deficit. It works out really well when you are lifting 3-4 times a week. You get the extra calories on the days you lift to drive anabolism and less on rest days to increase lypolosis. When I did this I mainly adjusted my carbs up on lift days and down on rest days or as I called them Build and Burn Days. It is an EXCELLENT way to recomp and the higher carbs on training days allows for some more interesting food choices.

Hope the abscess is not too messed up and causing you issues. Good luck with the lake, hopefully you are able to fix it without much damage to the farm or the fish population in the lake.

Thank you! I unconsciously did it that way, eating more after a workout and restricting on off days, not 20/20, it was more like 30/30.
Doing diet and training is a mental road block for me, as I know I have to eat to grow but must restrain myself.
Watched yesterday a vid about a pro bodybuilder, he had all his daily food laid out on a table...watching this did not help my cause, I can tell you.
Will follow your suggestions MrKleen73, getting rid of bf will take more time that way, but it grows muscles too.

The abscess, I call it "the evil twin" is still there, -will get what it deserves after my farm work. I looked like a fat whale in that vid but can assure to the audience, it's only the angle and 5kg the camera adds....<---- LOL.

Im a curious as to why he feels the need to drink in order to catch up on our logs
