I saw a knock-off product of the armaid at amazon for about 40 bucks, not sure about the quality though.
If I would live in the US I would have lend it to you to convince you.
Be aware that it's not a massage tool in the sense of massage. It's to apply pressure to the trigger point while you move the muscles, it hurts.

Day 26-Had to work till 6 pm. Hit the gym for only about 40 minutes due my kids' activities. But it was a good 40 minutes. Banged out 2.4 miles of HITT on the tred in 20 minutes. Kept my heart rate below 140. More cardio than I've done in a long time. Lol. Immediately after I did set after set of hanging leg raise/calf raises and various other ab exercises for 20 minutes nonstop. Best sweat I've had in a while. My knee felt great. It was pretty sore after some of the first running sessions but it's getting stronger inside. I never really ran at all after my ACL rupture so this is good thing.

Supernova Beta V2
image.jpeg

dsade I took these pics today. The OG beta is down to the last 1/3-1/4 of the bottle and still looks exactly the same as the first day. The V2 was close to same consistency(a little bit thicker though) on day one but now you can see it has changed drastically. It looks like imsmearing crap all over when I apply it. Lol. Any thoughts on this Matt?

It's the diuretics!!

They're strong...

They're drying the solution too!!

I obviously have V2. I honestly think it is too sticky, slow drying and may not be absorbing completely ...I think I have put too much on at times as my first bottle is getting low after about 3 weeks...But if I put it on in the morning and then take my t shirt off in the afternoon, the shirt still sticks to my skin 6-7 hours later.

I have yet to start mine.

Matt has sent me one to try.

I've tried almost all his topicals...

Finishing Evi burn free now.

You really have to shake since day 1 to avoid using almost only liquid and let the rest at the bottom...

You can probably reduce the problems by making sure you shake the bottle really well in the early days. I found running the bottle under hot water for a bit, helps.

As an experiment, you could take off the lid and scrape the inner walls of the bottle to get the solids into the the liquid.

The other thing I do is run my had under warm running water before each squirt into my palm. The water helps thin it out just a bit, which helps with the application.

Shaking the bottle is part of the fat-loss procedure.
Version 3 will come in a 8 pound shaker bottle made of lead, to make the fat loss more dramatic.

I've shook the hell out of mine several times and ran it under warm water before. No improvement. But this morning I had some extra time so I ran a full sink basin of very hot water and let the bottle warm for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes it was only a little better but after ten it completely reverted back to the original consistency:). I applied per normal after shaking the heck out of it again. I imagine this will be the routine every few day as it thickens back up.

dsade, you know what SuperNova could use? A small wire shaker ball. Is that practical? Do they make them small enough to put in a SN bottle?

Sounds good but do you think a wire shaker ball that small would be able to move in such a thick solution?

The solution isn't that thick on day 1. Daily shaking with the wire ball should keep us from squirting out the watery stuff and leaving the thicker stuff behind, keeping it a good consistency throughout.

Missed update-9/13-Day 27. As stated earlier I got the SN back to a satisfactory consistency by soaking in hot water for 10 minutes then shaking vigorously. I applied at 7 am. By lunch time it was back to looking like curdled catsh*t. No workout yesterday. Chest, abs, and some cardio is the plan for later today. Missed my morning application but will apply first one at lunch today.

Day 28-Sorry yesterday's update is late. I was rushed all day but had an hour island a half in the gym to slay chest/triceps. No HIIT or ab work this time. Just banging around iron as heavy as I could. Had a great workout and pump. Only applied SN once yesterday cuz I forgot. Cheers.

Day 29-Today. Hit the gym around 8 am before work at 10 am. Great back workout! Even had time for deads this time. Lower back was fatigued but feeling good. No time for cardio or ab work yet again:(. Things are going great. The abs/love handles/obliques are improving quite a bit IMO. And this is without strict dieting:). Tomorrow is day 30 so I will take progress pics then or Saturday morning.

No strict dieting, no time for cardio, but at least you hit deads....

Yep deadlift is pretty awesome. To be honest, I didn't do deadlift for probably 16 years. I'm still learning proper technique and building strength but I enjoy it.

I think the improvements are quite impressive considering how loose I am with the diet and macros. There is still some water retention blurring the abdominal area but not as much as when I was using strictly the OG beta. I expect more definition to shine through after I cycle off, hopefully. No big changes to the lower back that I can see but big changes to the oblique area IMO. dsade I'm enjoying the results. I think you have a winner on your hands.

Leaner!!

Front pick is relax or flexing?
Sucked in but not really flexed. I just compared and the pose is a bit diff than the before pics. I'll look for another example or retake with same pose. Before pic was sucked in semi-flexed as well.

I'll grab my calipers and measuring tape and tell you exactly in a bit. :bigok.
Yeah, mostly asking because I don't know where you tend to store fat, etc. and I want to see the perceived effectiveness of SN in comparison to day 1.

I'm prone to fat storage around the navel and the upper thighs. Before weight was 223. Today at 218. Before bf% was 13.8. Today was 12.9%. Via caliper reading. Circumference at navel is 34" vs 36 or 35 before.

Solid 30 day progress.
Thanks. I'm pleased with it. Of course I exercised a little more intensely and tried to control my eating(overeating) a little more but overall I didn't have to have a large deficit or closely track macros. And I had some days on vacation where I drank and ate terribly. That was early on though. Overall, nice results for minor diet and exercise changes. At no point have I ever felt like I was starving:).

Yeah, that's why I think it's solid progress. Under normal circumstances, I think your weight loss rate is normal, but you basically just winged it. I'm liking what I'm seein here, haha.
