Purus Labs MyoFeed Reviews

I want to say thanks to Aaron and grambo once again. I truly found one of my favorite proteins of all time. Just incredible. And grambo you were right, with oatmeal it is tremendous.

Man I was running late this morning, threw my Vanilla PB Myofeed in the blender with almond milk and 1 packet of quaker instant oatmeal, banana and cream.... New favorite!!!

Made some damn good pancakes today. They don't look as appetising as some others in here, but they got the job done. Saved pretty much all my carbs for this meal today. Also used 1/4 cup Cary's Sugar Free Syrup. I took some bits and pieces from recipes on this thread, and winged my own first attempt.

3/4 Cup Hodgson Mill Buckwheat Mix
1/2 Cup Myofeed Protein
1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1 Whole Egg
3/4 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk - Unsweetened

Made about 6 pancakes, destroyed them all after chest/back today. 141g protein, 89g carbs, 14g fat for all of it. Maple Buttermilk Pancake flavor made them sweeter, but as I expected, there wasn't much of a taste difference. Good to use in the buckwheat mix though as it can get a little bland. Cooked just like regular pancakes with no issues as far as being tough/chewy. Fairly quick and easy to whip up too!

So the other day I did my favorite PES select protein and oats and the maple pancake and oats, two bowls lol. I was shocked at how much better the myofeed is. It's apparent as soon as you open the tub. So good.

Awesome man glad you enjoyed!

Looks good to me!!

Good info, as I was on the fence about picking up some PES Select vs more Myofeed. I'll still try Select, but in the meantime it's all Myofeed for me.

Also, 1 scoop of Maple Pancake mixed with 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt...dear god it's almost like eating frosting. It'll hit your sweet tooth and knock out almost any cravings you have.

Purus is much thicker IMO.
Macros are very similar. Both good products. I give the edge to Vanilla PB2 if i were going to pick up a tub.
Absolutely incredibly done.

In agreement The Solution. I think the Myofeed was done perfectly. At least the Vanilla PB2 was, as thats all Ive tried so far. Taste wise, MTS the only thing that I feel is close, but, I like the thickness of the Myofeed. Definitely will be buying more.

Sounds awesome. I kinda swore off alot of dairy, but I cave in with ice cream. Look like ten lbs of crap in a 1 lb bag the day later though. Bloated like crazy. As I get older dairy just doesn't work for me anymore.

Ill be mixing mine with some Vanilla PB2 tonight. For some reason my sweet tooth has been aching lately

This must be different with the one I got because I swear myofeed has the frothiest lightest texture of all the blends I've tried. I want to check out the pb2, but buttermilk pancake is possibly my favorite of all proteins I've had. I've been going back into my huge stash of select to try and use it up so I can justify buying some more myofeed lol.

Frothy? Hmmm. All I know is I mix my Vanilla PB2 with Vanilla Unsweetened almond milk, and its smooth, thick and without "froth". In love with the stuff. I even blend it with 1 packet of bananas and cream instant oatmeal every morning for breakfast, and its incredible !!

I just use water. Fantastic. I'd imagine milk would be heavier.

This
mix in almond/cashew milk and it comes out Very thick and delicous like a milkshake.
Select comes out a bit thinner, not to my liking. But still a good product.

I'm eating this later.... I've never even thought of that

And that wasn't even a flavor you were going for right? :)

Just got my order of vanilla in today. Gonna try a small batch of pancakes with it this weekend, and about to try some in a shake as well

If you live near a Kroger, get the vanilla CarbMaster milk.

Those two things together make the most wonderful shake.

I've been digging into this baby

Great chocolate protein, I'm quite happy with this taste, not an overly sweet or "milky" chocolate. Leans to a darker and stronger chocolate, almost Brownie-like actually IMO.

This is my best chocolate find in a while

Other flavours were OOS when I ordered, but I will be grabbing another to try!

Thanks for the feedback.

So the vanilla I picked up doesn't dissolve as easily as the Maple Pancake, leaves little tiny clumps, more like beads if anything so the texture change messed with me right off the bat. I remedied that by making a smoothie in the blender with it, taste is your typical vanilla flavor so you can add what you want to it and have it turn out however you want. I've tried 1 & 2 scoops in almond milk (10oz and 16oz respectively) in a shaker and the beads are still there. That is the only "complaint" I have with the protein, and it's been isolated to that flavor only. Anyone else had this issue, or have any other tips to not make it "clumpy" aside from blending it?

Hmm I haven't heard that yet. Hopefully someone chimes in. Wish I could help ya man.

It's all good bro, it's an easy enough issue to work around but I've gotta stay mindful of the texture if I need to hurry and throw it in the shaker haha.

To be fair, I ordered from a third party site and they were out of the chocolate and PB2 chocolate, so it could've been some vanilla that sat on their shelf for a while. I tried finding a lot number or expiration date on the tub but didn't see anything.
