Burnfire's trek into anything and everything

Today I my light/moderate pull day. My workouts are still a little crazy not having music, but I'm getting used to it I suppose. I threw in some OL dermatren 3 days ago since my DMZ was flushed. Last thing I had to throw into the cycle so I could finish out my Mast and Test.

Laying Leg Curls

Chest Supported rows/Super setted with DB curls

EZ bar curls into bent over rows underhand (20 second rest)

DB shrugs

Straight Arm Lat Pulldown
12@80lbs x 2 sets

You can try an angle ez curl style attachement and vary your grip find the sweet spot, or use a rope attachment.

I usually super set the rope pull downs followed standing by j-pull ins w/rope.

Love them with the rope too!!

not a bad idea, i usually will finish up with single arm lat pulls and flex and squeeze working each one separately. but ill give this a shot
 
both you and Dma378 both like those straight arm pull downs. man im telling you, I have tried doing those for years and no matter what I just don't hit the back the way I should. always feel it more in my shoulders and arms. i have tried so many times, there are those days that it works, but more often it doesn't.
guess this is one of those you got it or you don't ex`ercises!

I just have to lower the weight and find that ranger of motion where my lats are screaming! I usually do mine at the middle to end of my workout so my lats are already warmed up a bit.

I usually finish my back with this just burn em up till your numb.....Job done, time to eat.... Repeat.

Yeah, me too. I usually talk to him outside of am almost every day and I haven't gotten any response from him. Even his fb is dead.
 
Hello to all,

First off sorry to any that I have angered.

Man these past few months have been hell, from being kicked out and moving from 2 different places. Once finally getting into an apartment. Sorry, I've been working my ass off for the past 2 years while she chilled. Saying all this, my life has been stressful and chaotic beyond belief. But during this time, I have learned a few things.

I would thank those whose messaged or posted about my concerns!!

As for working out and my cycle, that's been long dead. About the only physical activity I have been able to do lately is my job (stairs all days and working with tools above my head)

All I know is this won't hold me down

Well as I stated my workouts are going to seem like a joke compared to when I was in the gym. Here was what I got in today. Keep in mind I run stairs all day, in a hot humid pit working above my head. So I use my calves and legs and back quite a bit during my work day.

15 minute workout

-Pullups with 4 second negative
8,8,8,8,8,7,5,5

-Jack knifes
15,15,15,15,15,15,15

One arm row
12,12,12,12,12,12,12


Into 2 handed close grip row
25,25,25,10,5

(Weight of the day)

Well today was another improvised workout. I tried to get in what I could while at work, but things got busy. I was feeling good today so with my coffee this morning I had a DMAA cap. Soon I'll be back in the gym, I'm ready!!

I did a set of pushups, then squats then overhead press all in one set. Rest time was around 60-90 seconds.

Pushups-
Regular:
20,20,35,35,20
Decline: 25,25,25,25,25

Goblet sqauts:
25,25,25,25,25,25,25,20,20,20

Seated overhead press
12,12,12,12,12,12,12,12,10,10

Then enjoyed aome chocolate milke and donuts.

Things are going good been a rough past few weeks that I haven't touched a weight but I made some really good progress this year. New job last week with long hours but adapt and overcome

Nice man a new job is always good. Good to hear your making progress! Don't worry about the time off, take it as a deload.
 
So this is my basic workout routine of sorts lol. Not sure if any of y'all have heard of this guy Pavel Tsatsouline and his "grease the groove" . Odd name but I like the idea, also with my work it really makes my muslces feel a good pump. We'll see what this next month or two brings like this while I wait for a gym membership.

Sunday- Push
Monday- Pull
Tuesday-off
Wednesday-push
Thursday- G.T.G. (grease the groove)
Friday- Pull
Saturday- G.T.G.

Today was a G.T.G and I did the following:

Every hour on the hour 9-4 (so 6 sets)

Pushups, pullups, BW squats
25, 8(4 second negative), 30

As well as my workout here is my normal day, until it's not so humid and gets hotter..

The second pic is my work space, so to get anywhere I have few stairs to climb.

Then to go above ground I have a flight of stairs.. So each time leave the pit I surge up the stairs with my legs.

Some motivation I found on my phone. Today was a life changing one for me. This is literally what I have been working for and it's coming to pass.

I'm excited to get my new life in order and back in the gym!

Thanks Dan I'm really trying bro. I had to do a few things that I didn't like along the way. But it led me to here and I have to keep going. Thanks bro I'm just trying to keep my mind of her and the kids. So now I'm going to focus on me and my son.
