Concern about Superdrol by Hi tech

I've been running Superdrol at 2 caps a day for almost 3 weeks now with no issues until today. I began breaking out in a huge rash. Not acne. Could this possibly be from the Superdrol or am I totally off base?

After 3 weeks of use its very doubtful to be the ph causing your problems.

Could be a heat rash, it's been getting hotter over here, but like Yates said highly unlikely at 3 weeks to be an allergic reaction.

Superdrol has 1andro (1DHEA) which converts to 1-test. A lot of people who used to use 1-test would report rashes, even from oral use. It can be even worse, since it converts to 1-androstenedione, a version Patrick Arnold rejected to sell because of the skin burning problems people were reporting from testing it.

Not everyone is sensitive to the effects, but some people can be.

Chances of this happening after 3 weeks is slim. I would look at outside sources.

Antibodies are quiet a bit harder to develop against lipophilic agents, and it's even more unlikely that you would have an allergic reaction to this. But FWIW there are 4 different types of allergic rxn's. Most rxn's develop right away, but a rxn can still present itself weeks later. Not only that, you can develop an allergy out of nowhere to something you have taken for years(has to do with genetic recombination in how we develop antibodies randomly). Here's what you need to do, go get some topical benadryl and apply it locally. If it responds, then it's an allergic rxn and not just some heat rash. But honestly dude, dont worry. Not that serious.

I agree with most in this thread. 3 weeks in and it's highly highly unlikely to be the SD.

How goes the rest of your cycle so far?

Luckily, bodybuilding.com still has all their old posts back from years ago, and you can see many, many threads of users developing rashes from using 1AD even weeks after starting it.

Those are just a few examples, and all from developing rashes from using oral 1AD and the users reported they often showed up weeks into the cycle. Just search the bodybuilding.com forum for threads of any date with the term "1AD rash" (no quotes) in the supplements section to see more.

Hmm, that is freakin interesting.

*Update
A couple of days ago my rash got to the point it was unbearable. I went to my family doctor who said just take Benadryl which I was already doing to no avail. It was driving me crazy yesterday so I went to Urgent Care and got a shot plus a scrip for Prednisone. It's much better this morning. At least I can walk. I discontinued use of the Superdrol and hope that was the problem. I was taking a 10mg lisinopril daily for blood pressure and have been told it can cause these outbreaks too. I'm laying off it for a couple days also.

This was my arm yesterday before I got my shot.

Wow, that's awful.

Glad you went to the doc and praying everything heals up okay for ya.

When you hear "rash" that definitely isn't the image that comes to mind first (to me, at least). I've broken out in a mild rash from a few things on occasion and while annoying, it was bearable. That almost looks more like hives/a freaking chemical burn, so that's no fun at all.

How long had you been on the BP med that they mentioned could have that effect? If it had been for quite some time, I wouldn't think that was it, but if it was relatively new, too, maybe it was the culprit.

I've only been on Lisinopril about 5 months but some people have reactions as much as a year longer. By the way, it was rough as hell. I usually don't complain or care about going to the doctor but I had to yesterday. It covered my whole body like that. I could hardly walk.

Get some topical benadryl and apply it to the area. Do not discontinue your lisinopril unless it was a new med. Also, poison ivy/oak can present itself in this manner. Is there any chance you could have come in contact with it recently?

Very good point -- definitely didn't think about that, but that would certainly explain it, too.

My cousin brushed against it once when hunting and went to the bathroom out there -- spread it all over the place, unfortunately :/

And I actually had a student in here not too long ago who had it spread to his hand from either a set of work gloves or tools (can't remember now) that had come in contact with it from months ago when he happened to pick it up/put them on. Definitely can sneak up on you.

Well, since you have some other variables in your Superdrol cycle, including the other drug that has the potential side effect of getting a rash, and if you were exposed to poison ivy/oak it could have been that too.

If you're still itching, pick up some Goldbond anti-itch cream or lotion: Invalid Link Removed

They also make some with Lidocaine (to numb the area) which can help too depending on if the other stuff doesn't work. Also, as mentioned, you can buy topical Benadryl and/or Hydrocortisone. Walmart makes some in spray bottles so it's easy to apply and works really well.

Wash the area frequently and then apply some lotion too it, I also like Goldbond's lotion for that kind of thing too: Invalid Link Removed

Hope you feel better soon.

In the meantime, I think HiTech and the other vendors of 1DHEA/1-Andro should be on the lookout for reports of users getting rashes.

Oh yea, they showed us some pictures in my physical assessment class of some extreme cases where it spread into the MOUTH and down the THROAT!

Have u inadvertently waded thru plants which are known irritants to human skin?

Edit: noticed it was mentioned earier. Looks nothing like poison ivy ime but looks j u s t like a plant around here called cow parsnip. Big cool looking plant that, when in direct sunlight, takes on a shiny needley look and you can see all the super fine needles on it's leaves and stalks. Stuff rips u up bad and leaves long looking swollen hives/boils on the skin like you've shared in the photo.

Ivy/oak after the initial inflammation/itching will swell up in patches, then proceed to blister. The blisters then start oozing puss and dry up and scab.

Eeeh good call, my poison ivy experience is returning. I remember being covered in those oozy blisters and using long sleeve tshirts and knee high socks to cover them from the oppressive sunshine (I work outside) as they weeped and oozed. By the time it was all said and done it was a 3 week affair, just awful. Thankfully it avoided my genitals/butthole.... good grief! Prob had it on 60% of my body.

this one time, at band camp (not really), when I was like 10, I had chiggers in my balls, and they swelled up and turned all purple. I'm honestly lucky I didn't loose em.

The poison oak/ ivy idea is a possiblity. The day before all this took place my son asked me to walk down in the woods to the creek. We live in the south so there are plenty of things in there that could have done it. After getting a steroid shot and now taking Prednisone for 2 days now the rash is almost gone. I'm so thankful, I was miserable. I had some many variables that it's hard to say what caused it. I am not being negative towards Hi Tech. So far the Superdrol was awesome and I hated to have to stop. It does work. Thanks for all the concern and the feedback.

Bingo. The fact that it responded to prednisolone means the culprit was an inflammatory and/or immunologic process. Good to hear it cleared up. How is the superdol from hi tech? Will you be posting a review? I'm really interested d/t the pregnenolone based steroid in it, I want to see how people respond.

I took a few days off the Superdrol while I was taking the Prednisone.I plan on starting the Superdrol back as I'm almost positive that wasn't the culprit.I was on it for 3 weeks before all this happened and I can say I was making some good gains.I put on 6 lbs. and my strength was getting better. One thing I noticed was an almost instant pump when I started my workout.
