Glad we got you on the right path.

So.... Salt and Straw order was supposed to come in yesterday.
Long story short. You pay for 2 day shipping Which is 49$.
And now I am on to my 3rd business day.
Dry ice usually does not last longer than 48 hours..
It went from Portland to Pennsylvania on Tuesday. Yestreday it was supposed to arrive via tracking, but it did not move an entire day literally an hour outside of where i live in Erie.. Then today it finally moves again.

WTf... pay 50$ for 2 day shipping and now it is on to the 3rd business day..
About to send these guys an email and give them a phone call when they open. My luck the ice cream will be melted ... putting ice cream on dry ice for upward to 72 hours is not always a legit guarantee it will be good when it arrives.
 
Definitely warrants an email when you pay that kind of shipping.

Overall it was a good pint, but nothing great from a limited edition flavor of ben and jerry's. They should continue to keep the sweet cream base around as it is a major improvement from a lot of their other flavors.. The mix-ins both needed improvement. The cookies needed a denser flavor and consistency.The Peanut Butter swirl tasted good, but needed to be larger since the cookies overpowered this aspect. With some small tweaks to the mix-ins this could have potential.

Grade: B-

Pint on top is Salted Caramel Truffle from Handels (Talenti Container). Pint was damaged when I was driving it home.

I had half Oreos (multiple) and plenty of peanut butter gobs the whole way down, base was a big win too. Sweet cream is something BnJ can do

B+ for me but feeling it was a lucky pint

Holy hell the Bourbon is strong in that base lol. Each spoonful was like a shot, except sweet and delicious.

I don't care for the alcohol flavors lol.

The B&J ale wasn't bad, but definitely not what I gravitate toward.

And yeah, Bob, I really appreciate turning me onto Buckeye because I have now had 3 pints and they were each amazing lol.

I loved the BCC, got a tower with it at the scoop shop in CBus and had it pint form twice :)

I had 2 cheese crown pints, one was great & the other was mediocre.

Doing up Steve's spec cookie tonight :usa:

Cheese Crown was very unique (to my experience at least) and good -- but if I had to choose between that and Buckeye, it's not even close.

Bob has ruined all other ice cream for me, I think lol.

Sounds amazing but at $65 +$49 shipping for 5 a bit pricey. I draw the line at about $12-14 for an amazing pint.

Ya forget that. I would never pay that much for shipping. No food on earth is worth 3x its value in shipping. That's just ridiculous.

id rather put that money towards something useful rather than throwing it away on what amounts to 20min of (hopefully) enjoyment. I can't beleive anyone actually pays that much for something like that.
 
I just saw BnJ Tonight Dough at a store in Canada...just bought it in MI 2-3 weeks ago.

If you must know The Solution I don't trust PBI reviews much.

However, I can see the mix-ins look plentiful and I'm sure S&S is great. Mkretz told me his pint was stellar and I trust him 110% but still not paying $21US per pint.

Btw, that's ~$25cdn
