I'll post pics later of a smoker we build when I'm on sites for a prolonged time. We use a 55 gallon drum, piece of electrical conduit, and a couple Weber replacement wire grill trays. We did a 8lb brisket last week and 4 whole chickens this week. Brisket stayed in there for 10hrs and the chickens for 4.5hrs. We eat well when we are in the field. I plan on building 5 of these when I'm on Adak. Will have 35-40 people!
 
You probably know this but, use white vinegar to remove the galvanize from the conduit. Also, make sure the inside of the drum is not plastic coated.

You burn them out prior to use. It also burns off all the paint on the outside. Lucky for us we use drums on all our sites.
Only takes about 15 minutes to make. Burn it out all day, we use a bag of charcoal and busted up pallets.
 
Cool. This removes the galvanize from the conduit spit as well?
 
You don't have to worry about the galvanized. It's an effluent smoke discharge only. Here are a few pics:

This thread has inspired me to clean the grill and buy some chicken quarters for a Sunday night meal prep throw down!

In other news I'm trying to educate myself on hexadrone. Other than the little I can find from a Google search I'm not seeing too much feedback from real world results. Thanks again Kleen for being a willing lab rat! My lab rat is experimenting with LGD at the moment but looking for another mild addition to its cycle. If anyone can point me to some hexadrone info it would be greatly appreciated.
 
I don't think you'll see anything from Hex alone. Needs to be stacked. Before the ban I ran Synerbolics 3-MHD. Had very good results but think it mainly came from the Msten and the DMZ.

This is gonna be my next cycle for sure. Dmz and Methyldiazirinol was great together but for sheer size I haven't heard much better than dmz/msten

Oh yeah you gotta cue the prep food! Hexa would go well with the LGD, the reason I chose it in the first place was that it has an AI like effect and can lower estrogen by like 30% so it was a go to for me when I got the choice of something to stack with testo! Like an anabolic AI basically but yeah it wouldn't offer much anabolism on it's own for a man unless dosed very high.

Interesting info about the hex. Might make for an even better stacker with trest than epi like I had done before. The epi def helped with the sides
 
Man I had pizza and ice cream with the family this weekend, then got called off to San Antonio to work yesterday. Ate pretty good but still more carbs and sodium added to the mix. I must have gained 8-12 lbs over the weekend. It was like the trest and everything was lying in wait for just a little extra food. I am definitely holding some water from the combination of the trest, TRT, extra carbs and sodium. However I am also HYUGE right now. My muscles are so full it is like I have a pump everywhere in my body!

On the dietary front, I will be cutting carbs back for a little bit to clean back up so I look better in California over Spring Break. I think what will be showing after bloat from the water and trest flush should be impressive. So time to flush it out.

Once I get back from Cali I intend to go on an actual cut for the spring, drop carbs some to re-establish insulin sensitivity, then going to something similar to the CBL / Metabolic Diet, EI... lower carb consumption from fruits in AM and Early PM then starches and what not in the evening.
 
I might have missed this on an earlier post but did you say if you are on an ai already for trt?

I am running one yes I am using adex, but am trying to get the doc to give me a script for exemestane instead since I know it wont crush my estrogen levels completely. Most of the water I am holding is carbohydrate and sodium based and not a hormonal reaction to a sudden increase in estro. I was more commenting on how obviously starved for carbs my muscles were to have soaked up so much into my muscle. Sure there is some spill over but how full of glycogen I am is ridiculous.

I did start running a 20mg cap of nolva EOD just to be safe though. No need to take any risks.

Yeah I just want to get my estrogen levels right around 25-30 and keep them there. I started taking my 5IU of Vit D 3 today and have been getting in plenty DHEA through my transdermal recently. I just need to get myself some pregnenolone to help the body make whatever it feels it needs and I should be on the way to feeling awesome.

I think you meant to type that Aromasin is easier on the cholesterol, correct? I've always had great experience with Aromasin.

Yes that is exactly right! I just walk in and computers start behaving as they should. I definitely don't now, nor ever have fit the typical IT guy bill.

So I had been talking about changing my program up so that the work is spread across the week more. Going with more of a COnjugated / DUP set up than the program I just recently started. I tend to do well with high frequency training so long as I don't try to tear myself down every workout. So here is what I came up with for my first 4 weeks. I am using Max Effort within certain percentages and will govern the increasing intensity via lowering reps during the cycle. This way if I am getting much stronger I can make the adjustments easily since I assume maxes will go up quickly.

I will switch over to something closer to this tonight with training then again on Saturday and start the whole thing Next week for my first week. After this Saturdays will be my "Bro days" I will do whatever bodybuilding type exercises for areas feel like I have missed through out the week. I will also squeeze in some body weight stuff and other conditioning on "off days" when I feel I have the recovery to add in other things.

Finally feeling a little more excitement to get into the gym knowing I have the new program set up. For the last month every time I got ready for a workout I was concerned with how I was going to feel. If I was going to have a nagging issue plague me the rest of the week. That really takes a lot of the excitement out of training so I am trying this new program I think my body will handle much better. As the day progresses and I am getting ready for my lift I can actually tell I am more excited about getting in the garage and putting in the work.
 
So last night I decided to run through a speed workout for everything at about 50-60%. Saturday I will test my lifts, and probably use a 1-3RM to set up my weights and see where I am on some of them. Just depends on the quality of the spotter I have around that day. I know I have lost a little strength since I peaked last time but think this will change very quickly.

A triangle is a mobility drill for your hips. It really helps open them up. You basically stand in a wide split stance then bend one leg and sit hips back to parallel in a stretch position like in a cossack squat then while keeping hips low go from one side to the other then stand up straight and reverse the direction, that is 1 rep. Basically you are drawing a triangle with your hips in both directions every rep. When you stay low and slide across the center you will feel it opening up your hips big time.
 
I maxed out on squat and bench today 345 on bench and 455 squat. Pretty happy with those numbers up 10 from the beginning.

Man I am feeling those maxes today. My back is like what the fug happened to me!!!!

So I have to admit that this cycle has not gone the way I initially planned. I have really just been way more relaxed with the food than I originally intended. That being said this has gone from a recomp to a semi-bulk. I think a lot of what I am experiencing is just extra water but I have eaten way more carbs than I originally planned to the last 2 weeks. I am HUGE right now. I have put on over 10 lbs, and some of it is water but I don't think I have gained any fat, or at least my bodyfat % has not changed since the beginning.

We had my daughters birthday / slumber party at the house so pizza and ice cream everywhere. Then the wife made home made cupcakes that were well just a bit too much for me not to partake in. Of course once I got started on them I had more than one... I have not weighed myself this morning but I am definitely in the 220-225 range right now. My legs, arms and shoulders barely fit in my pants / shirt for that matter. I have a layer of water on me from the estro and carbs but am increasing my AI today as well as using Nolva @ 20mg EOD. The Nolva has kept my nips under control but estro was still high enough to make me hold lots of water so I am going to bring it down a bit.

Since I did my maxes on Saturday I should really take tonight off and do my lifting tomorrow. I need to see which power day is today to see if I can swing it with my back being this tore up. If not I will do some light work tonight to burn some energy then hit the hard work up tomorrow.

I will be in California all week next week taking the family to see Jo's Mother and other family out there. We will be staying in Long Beach and I intend to get a workout in while there. Also going to visit Muscle Beach while out there because well it is a must see for me! This cycle will actually complete while I am there but once I get back I will move into the 2nd and more aggressive phase of the cycle where I will actually start focusing on my cut. Since the rest of this week and next week will be focusing on crushing some weight and I will be eating loosely while in California I am calling it a bulk for the first month of this run. I have to admit when it comes to bulking these compounds seem to be stepping it up even at the lower daily doses.
 
Tonight I intend to re-test my Dead Lift Max, and think it will be pretty much spot on with my estimate here. After that I will do some explosive work for squatting movements and some higher rep pressing movements plus a little Hypertrophy training for the beach muscles and some sled pulling...

Below I have lined out the weight ranges I will be using to guide me. I will adjust them if I end up improving very quickly.

I used 10lbs less than my actual maxes to set up these ranges. I expect to blow past them in the first month of training this way. The full on training cycle will start when I return from vacation.

Squats Working Max - 445 lbs.
Strength Weight Range 375-445lbs
Power Weight Range 180-270
Hypertrophy Weight Range 311-375

Bench 335lbs -
Strength Weight range 285-335
Power Weight Range - 135-200
Hypertrophy Weight Range 235-285

Dead Lift - 545lbs -
Strength Weight Range 460-545
Power Weight Range 215-325
Hypertrophy Weight Range 380-465

Full Body Explosive moves 50-80% depending on goal and how I am feeling. Lower weight will have either more reps or more sets.
Clean & Press / Jerk - 225 = 135-180
High Pull - 265 = 135-212
Snatch 195 = 95-155
