yup I agree(per usual) with you.
This is just yet another reason why I prefer L-Citrulline. There's no questioning it. 1g=1g.
so if a person is taking 4 grams of L-Cit vs a person take 6 grams of Cit Mal 2:1... there must be more benefits to the Cit Mal when Cit Mal content is equal unless Malate has zero or negative benefits.

Is the malic acid in Cit Mal worth the extra cost could be the question...
I posted a few resistance/endurance/performance training studies here:They have both shown benefits, but IIRC only 8g of Citrulline Malate was tested in weight lifting athletes. I think plain L-Citrulline was tested on normal incline walkers with a statistically insignificant improvement (as far as "performance" goes - Solo L-Cit has other benefits).
its is not just for pumps...

Yeah, the question is why wouldn't CM be better than C given an equivalent dose of citrulline in both.
I'm not sure. I can state personally that while I did not notice much from CM at 3, 6, or 8g, I have absolutely noticed increased energy/fatigue blunting (most noticeable effect), increased pump, AND increased erection quality from Citrulline at 4-8+ g per day. I even noticed the energy boost from citrulline at 3g when I first tried it, and it was very noticeable and pronounced compared to CM. I noticed incredible fatigue blunting and energizing properties from C that I just did not see from CM.
I am guessing it's probably one of the following:
- C works better than CM for some reason (perhaps it is absorbed better when not bonded to malic acid?)
- The dose of C I've been using is higher than what is in CM (though not at first)
- Though I'm getting both from the same source, maybe the C is somehow higher quality?
- I don't respond well to malic acid
- Placebo (highly doubt it but of course it's possible)
Energy levels are somewhat subjective, so is pump to a degree, but erection quality I think is easier to measure.
CM = no noticeable effect on erection strength
C = very definite harder / fuller erections, and the study that was done where 50% of men saw an increase in erection quality was also done on C.

um...like I said...
Nice results.
what do you mean by take nitric oxide? do you mean a pre-workout product?
I should probably try it before any more commenting - just ordered 100 grams bulk - good for 16 workouts at 6g. I'll see if I notice any differences from CM, although the "flagpole" test can't be improved upon, IMO![]()
Yep, I have just taken as a pre work out 2 BCAA, 2400mg, 2 Test Reload, 1 Nitric Oxide 500 mg, L- 1Citrulline Malate 500 mg 1 D-Aspartic Acid 500 mg, and 1 Tribulus Terrestris. All capsules. My work out was phenomenal, but is this combination safe to take at the same time?
Update on this: Haven't noticed anything different from CM.
