The first and second version of Jacked was definitely spiked with something. No doubt in my mind.

You mean something other than DMAA?

I remember the workouts on Jacked. It was absolutely craze. But I remember I got a crash after it. Usually after leg workout.
Maybe because I went medieval on the weights contributed to that.

I would have to agree. The funny thing is, whatever it was spiked with could arguably have been a "good" thing if the safety was studied more. When they took all the hard hitting products off the market nearly at the same time and then the caffeine content of a ton of products nearly doubled. Some pre's had 500mg of caffeine and craziness like that to make up for it.

If you are able to keep the caffeine content lower and still get great focus/energy and a product is cycled properly to give the body time to return to homeostasis then that's a win to me. Wish these idiots that take over the recommended dosages and explode their hearts in their chest had a little more common sense and wouldn't ruin supemental progress.

Also, I'm not making any claims whatsoever and I still love Alphamine and all the PES line BUT Alphamine used to be a lot better in the energy department too.

Not sure about that. I remember trying Ergopharm amp the first 1,3 product. In the beginning, 1,3 was just like adderall for me. Intense energy and focus for hours.

Over the years though the effects have dwindled to just a really good pick me up.

Maybe that's what it was
 
I remember the original Jack. Same here, I'd workout for several hours and then be at home doing pushups on the kitchen floor while I was cooking dinner. I was new to working out at the time and just figured all pwo's were like that. I wonder what ever happened to the original 1mr? All I see around here where i live is that vortex stuff. ??

That's exactly what I got too! I mixed 2 scoops of the BCAA and 1 scoop of the creatine in a half gallon of water earlier. Fantastic flavor!

Looking forward to trying the MBCAA flavor soon; have really enjoyed all the others.
 
I could never get into 1,3. It did make for some cool workouts, but it totally killed my dick. As a single dude, not a fan. My first time experiencing 1,3 stim dick was horrible. I've never made so many excuses for why I was not in the mood. That was it for me. 1,3 is a great married man supplement lol.

Same with me. Worst side effect ever. Even made peeing harder than normal sometimes too.
 
I believe it may have been a prostate issue. I experienced it as well, but only with continued use -- e.g. I have a tub of Mesomorph and have used it just a couple times very spread out when I really need the energy and haven't had problems.

I had this issue with the OG 1M.R. formula with 1,3 in it. But I'm taking Formutech Lean EFX right now (has 1,3) and not having any issues. This could be balanced out by the other compounds I'm utilizing though lol.

Weird, I haven't had any problems with Mesomorph! Only with the good old 1MR did I have issues with 1,3.

Well admittedly, I haven't given this the chance to test it out. But several 1,3 products had that impact beforehand and for a couple years I just cut it out.

I'm pretty bummed my care package came in as I had surgery. But at least I have some staples to look forward to when I'm back.

So, I was only expecting a modernPre and a shirt... But in typical USP fashion (and shown above by others) a whole box of goodies shows up :eek:
Cherry lime modern bcaa even, looking forward to that... And have been impressed with the focus that MondernPre has... though not enough stim for me, so adding in 25mg Eph is schweet, 'ModernSchweet' ! Also rocking that Royal blue bb tee, thanks again USP :)

ModernPRE Quick Review!

Thanks again USP for sending the care package! I figured the very least I could do is a quick review of the products that I have had the pleasure of trying so far!

ModernPRE: I took 2 scoops--

TASTE- (4/5) I had the fruit punch flavor and my wife actually tried it before me. She barely likes any supplement flavors and the first words out of her mouth were: "WOW! This tastes like I'm drinking juice." So there you have it! Ha, I thought the flavor was very good for fruit punch. It is not the best I have tasted but it is dang close to the best. Great job USP.

MIXABILITY-(5/5) The powder is very fine and very high quality. I had no particles in the cup at all after mixing and only a small amount of foam on the top of the pre (which doesn't bother me at all unless there is a lot).

ENERGY- 5/5 I have to give this the full 5 because I am VERY caffeine tolerant and I am very critical of the energy given by certain pre workouts. From the ingredient profile I expected this to be more of a performance based pre and be OK with energy. However, the energy was VERY clean and it's been 4 hours since I dosed it pre workout and I still don't feel mental fog. No crash at all. Very very solid. Again, it exceeded my expectations.

FOCUS- (4/5) I got more sleep last night too so that helped. However, I felt like the focus was very good during my workout. I am always zoned out during my workouts anyway BUT the reason that I still rated this high on the point scale was because I STILL do not have a crash or mental fog 4 hours after dosing it. The synergy of the ingredients seem to work very well.

PUMP- (4/5) I usually take MTS Vasky with my pre workout and I took ModernPRE solo today just to see the effects. The pump wasn't the most intense pump of my life but it was every bit as good as if I would have taken Vasky.

OVERALL- Excellent pre for what you get. They even have 3g of Creatine Anhydrous in the full dose so you don't realistically need to supplement with creatine. Also, there is a solid 2g of beta alanine in the full dose. I HATE beta alanine tingles because I am very sensitive to it; however, at 2g it was the perfect amount to not kill me with the tingle. I never expect a supplement to be great. I just take it and try to be as unbiased as possible. This definitely exceeded my expectations. Great job on this one.

I will only do a flavor review on this one because I am already supplementing with creatine :dance:

FLAVOR: (5/5) I had the Lemon Lime flavor and I am a lemon lime fanatic. It's so refreshing if it is done correctly. If it isn't done right I can't stand it. The smell of the powder isn't bad but it was a little "weird" I guess. It threw me off a little bit. HOWEVER, when I mixed it up the flavor was awesome. I great refreshing lemon lime. This was on point with some of my other favorite lemon lime products. The powder is also very fine and mixes GREAT.
 
ultimate t is probably the only usplabs main supp i havent tried, so i definitely need to. super jealous of all these gainz goin around lol

I'm glad mine showed up when it did. I have been pleasantly surprised by ModernPre. It gives me the pump and endurance I want and just the right amount of energy and focus. I don't need to be stimmed out.

Cherry lime bcaa?? Might need to grab some of that, have enjoyed the other flavors!
 
Ok so according to a manager, the vitaminshoppe no longer carries usplabs, due to the false labeling issue/government investigation. Thjs is probably why the guy at the other vitaminshop in the midwest mistakenly thought usplabs was out of business
