I'm now sitting at 221.1 and quite pleased with the experience. I have finally gotten used to the patches being on and haven't had to use tape ONCE! I've placed on the top of my foot, right above my belly button, folds of my arm/forearm and my wrist. My favorite place to put one of these bad boys is on my forearm and my least favorite is the top of my foot.
I'm seeing the weight come on and I'm excited for the days to come. I've got upper body today because of my nephew.
He went to the gym with me when I was down in austin and hes like 120 soaking wet but hes has great endurance so I ran and did some vertical jumps with him and ended up with a sore as hell hamstring from friday. I can comfortably jump 6ft which is pretty good IMO.
Coupled with someone waking me up at 1am while I was in austin, getting 3 hrs of sleep because of that yesterday and a 12 hr drive....I'm still sore. Had a great holiday though.
I hit 245 for 8 over in austin on bench. I suspect however...the weights don't weigh the full 45. My gym at home is very well calibrated and the weights are either 44.9 or 45.1 at my home gym. I weighed only one 45 over at the golds gym in austin and it came out to 42.4. If you have ever trained at a foreign gym then you know when things feel slightly "off" or easier. This is a little update but honestly I couldn't give you numbers knowing that the plates felt lighter.
Back to my good old routine this week though.
