Transformers 2 - Revenge of the fittest! The Transformation thread.

We're getting down to business, I guess everyone's just trying hard to keep up with me!

Yes I agree, matching pace with you has definitely been a chore. I didn't mind slowing down at first but keeping the gas at 1/2 throttle is starting to bore me!

It's okay man! You'll get there...maybe!

I just did my first big carb up and whoah! Lots of size and thickness. Should look pretty good in another day or so when the spill over comes off.

How big do you consider big?

It was right at 800 in two days, about 500 the first day. Probably would have been money to stop that first day since I am not super depleted but I definitely feel it and a bit of a carb hangover.

Psh that ain't big ;)

Maybe if you have a hollow leg! LOL

It took me 2 days to crush what Montego1 does in 1 day.

Well.... I do. HA.
I shoot for anywhere from from 300-600g a day.

I'm hanging in... My carbs are done and gone until November 7. I have to be strong and not screw this up

I can't even come close to that. I have a relatively efficient metabolism, I don't need much to grow, get fat, or have to drop too much to lean up.

Some great definition!!!!

It's all about density.

1 Bagel 55c 1f

Yep I normally hit bagels heavily when carbing up. I didn't this past time but it is definitely one of my go to sources when trying to get a lot of carbs in quickly. I think BamBam0319 was saying he got 300-600 in daily on the regular not during a load but may have misunderstood his post.

Yep regularly. 600 is when I'm definitely trying to pack in those carbs. 300-400 is more my normal range.
Adding bagels in helps greatly.

Bagels, fat free fig newtons, jelly, pasta, fat free froyo, hungry Jack pancakes all that's on the menu for today

You have got to love the fat free fig newtons, not only good carbs but help clear the pipes the following day too. LOL

All of this carb talk on my low carb day.....

You guys and gals are looking great!!! Lots of hard work in here! I love seeing all of the progress! I can't talk any smack though...Just not my strong point haha

Things are going well for me...weight is staying steady with the calorie increases but measurements are decreasing a bit! Win Win!! Here's an update/comparison...Invalid Link Removed

Screw the contest I am coming shopping! :) By the way I held onto that OG CONQU3R for you! Although it has probably solidified by now but you know how to fix that. That or just cut a chunk off and use it.

Both pics are the start of the week.
Definitely can tell not holding as much water as body must be adjusting to Ghar1ne.

Ready for another week closer to winning this!

Great progress but I am going to have to insist you wash your mirror so we can see your cuts better! :)

In for old formula max pump

I think I still have 4 bottles of MAX PUMP!

I'm only 2 weeks in & I'm really enjoying it so far. Going to up my dose tomorrow. I'm running it with Osta.

Oh boy things are gonna get real!

So last week I did not get in as much conditioning as i would have liked and had the big carb up. Then had a little Halloween candy, so I am a tiny bit leaner but much fuller. Would have enjoyed getting even more lean but this next few weeks should really bring things into focus!

I will just leave this update from my log in here for you guys... That GREAT WALL OF SUPPS IS MINE!!!!

Okay I thought I would liven things up a bit in here with a vid and some progress shots. I told you all I have been eating more carbs and staying full. I am up to 212 after the carb up plus the addition of about 50g more carbs on non lifting days, and about 100g of carbs more on lifting days on average. I adjusted fats down, and am cycling carbs, fat, and calories on a regular basis. So my weight is moving up and down about 4 pounds over the course of the week. Seems I am going from around 208-212 upon waking. The OSTA is definitely treating me nicely. I bumped it to 40 last week too. I just need to start working on my arms a little more to get the size up a bit if I ever want to think of competing again. Unless I do physique that is. More than likely I will keep my focus on strength training and hit up a meet in the next year.

First lets get into my workout then I will post the pics and the video.

Super Set 1 -
Hex Bar Dead Lift - 145x5, 235x4, 325x3, 415x2, 525x2
- I missed it last week but ate some good carbs this week and nailed it, and then some! I felt like I had another rep in me but had a lot more work to do...
Push Ups 90% max reps - 70, 40, 40, 40, 31 - a total of 221 push ups in the 5 sets. Up a good bit from last time. Gotta love those carbs!!!!

Super Set 2 -
Reverse Grip Bent Over / Dorian Rows - 185x10, 185x10, 235x8, 235x8
DB Farmer's Carry - 50lbs x50 yards x 4 sets

Super Set 3 -
Prone Grip Inverted Rows Max reps - 25, 16, 14
DB Lateral Raises 20x15, 20x15, 20x15
- this superset was a beast after all of the other back work!!!! Traps were dead and not able to assist in the side raises which made a huge difference.

Tire Sled Drag - 6 minutes - I had to pull in both directions to keep it moving the whole time! It was brutal!

Mobility work for 6 minutes at the end, just foam rolled here.

Here is the video of the Hex bar Deads

In these pics I had eaten most of my daily meals, just finished my lift and downed a half gallon of water so I weighed myself right after I took them, and was 215.7 at the time of the pics. I was 212 this morning.

It's pricey but a great carb source for intra workout.

I'll have to see what the ingredients are in my intra carb product
