The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

So this stuff is best taken on an empty stomach rather than with meals like it is suggested on x-gels and x-factors dosing instructions?

This will be fairly hard for me to do, the only time i can get to the gym is after work at night. I finish work at 6pm, have my evening meal by about 6.30 and get to the gym about 7.30. When would people suggest i dose? An hour after food wouldnt be classed as an empty stomach would it?
I would do
ARA hours: 6 (fasting, pre dinner)
Dinner hours: 6:30
Work hours: 7:30

so you train with already circulating ARA.

What the experts say?
1½ hours, pre work, it is too late?

Or so it is safe to take ARA fasting.
 
I believe it is suggested to take ArA fasted OR 45 mins pre workout, with 45 mins PWO being the better option.

You want ArA prior to resistance training for maximal ArA uptake.

So no, I wouldn't dose prior to dinner how you have it set up above.
 
So does anyone know if it'd be wise to take mt's new plasma muscle along side ara? It has curcuminoids, cissus and thymol to make up what they call optinos..

Cissus and the like should be dosed away from ara
 
Would you still suggest a dose of 6 caps per day if working out and dosing the ArA 6 days a week? Currently weighing in at about 175 or so.

From a cost perspective no. Id go 4 caps and draw it out
 
Agree with jiigzz, if training 6 days a week, 1 gram would be solid.
 
So, PES HV wont emulsify ARA?? If I take 3 sccops of CL glycer grow, can i add at least 1 scoop pes hv?

No, it won't.

Yes, you will be fine adding GG and HV.
 
there is so many posts here im sure people have explained it but ive ordered my sns xgels and epicatechin supp. should i take the two together? and does sns xgels/ArA need any other supp to go with it? apart from this i would also take creatine, bcaas and protein. thanks
 
damn! to much powder! lol! my muscles are going to explode with HV, ARA, ABE, GG!

Just scoop the glycer grow directly in your mouth and wash it down with your preworkout. That is what most people do I think.

I take Epi pre workout and Xgels after a warm up always. No issues so far.

It doesnt need any supplement but a Carnitine salt or GMS are useful alongside
 
If I take ArA for 50 work days, how many days off do I need before my next ArA run? 50 straight days? Shorter or longer?

Safest answer would be total number of days in which you ran it over the course of the run, but most likely just 50 straight days from day of last dose would be fine..

Apologies if im not allowed to post this here but has anyone used ara to amplify gains whilst on cycle? Was it be worthwhile or better using in pct/post pct which is where im planning on using it? Thanks.
 
I like avocados, and have been eating around 100 grams to 200 grams per day, the nutritional label I have states 198Kcal Per 100 grams and 19.5 g fat 0.5g carbs and 1.9 grams of protein, does this sound correct for 100 grams of ripe Avocado.
 
I think powder is a much lower % of ArA.

I wasn´t even aware of the powder availability but surfing in a website i faced with it.

They say to take 1000mg before pre-workout, so i guess it should be the same %? The only ingredient listed is: 100% Arachidonic Acid Powder.

On one of the many pages of this thread, Jiigzz chimed in. I believe it's ~5-10% ArA as powder. Vaskular has ArA powder but it's a 10% standardization so 1g would really be 100mg

Oh if thats the case it´s a shame, because it´s cheap, like around $23 for 50g or even less per gram for 100g.
 
I just bought two bottles of x-gels along with alcar and gms. I am looking to start the stack today.What would be the correct dosing for each of these? 6 x gels, 6g gms and 2 g alcar before workout?

Could start out with 4 X gels and work up to 6, but yep, That's it exactly man :)

Ara powder is generally around 5% ARA, but can go up to 10%. So even if its 100% ARA powder, only 5-10% of that is Ara.
 
hey guys quick question, ive heard Ara should be dosed pre workout and from most accounts ive heard thst 6 is sufficient, but what if i train 2 times a day 4 days a week? (9-10 total sessions) do i dose 3 in my morning sesh and then 3 in my afternoon sesh or just 6 in the morning? thanks

It's working more via saturation than an acute effect. IMO, just dose once daily.

just 1 per day? i would love that to be the case since the two bottles would last me 4 months rather than 5-6 weeks that way but most people have said 4-8. have you tried 1 a day and seen good results?

lol, sorry. Posted to early and wasn't clear. Dose your 4-6 caps once per workout day.

Like aaron said, dose 4-6 caps prior to one of your weight training sessions.
 
Has anyone used ArA during a split routine? Taking a full serving prior to each workout.

Split as in 2x per day? If so, I have taken ArA on days that I trained twice, but I would only take it once. Usually before the workout where I had an empty stomach since it's hard to have an empty stomach for 2 workouts.
 
Ive been using 6 x-gels preworkout for a whole bottles worth and didn't realize how fast it would go. I have one bottle left and would like to prolong the use as long as possible, would it be more effective to continue the 6 gels pwo or lower the dose to 4 gels pwo to extend the life of the bottle a little longer?

I don't know if there's fact behind it but once you reach a built up level you may be ok to back down and use 4 to prolong. Similar to how one would front load anything else as a saturation level would allow for this. Just my speculation though.

Are you dosing workout days only?
 
Can someone let me know how big Xgels are? Like the size of the gel cap. I have a hard time swallowing large pills. Thanks

They're about 1/4" long and fairly thick around. Slightly ovular.

About 2/3 the size of an orange triad cap
