I am heavily contemplating adding Cardar1ne to my log. May get a 2 pack and an extra bottle of RAD.
That's one big big point I'd like to address I don't know how many times people start threads and say diet is on point. I'm protein this % this much below maintenance etc. Honestly those are cookie cutter diets we got I think 10 athletes preparing for the show EVERYONE has a different diet plan cardio plan and supplement protocol. What it takes for me to get to 6% is world's different my partner might make it at 150 of carbs a day and two sessions of liss I need to cycle down to 15 and do fasted and hitt. To me diet on point means sub teen bf% year round 9 or 10% being ideal.
I did very little cardio during my prep, almost none... and I wasn't taking nearly as much compounds. Still out performed a lot of the juice heads on stage.
Contest prep is not that complicated lol
Umm not for nothing but can you go heads up with ronson Cornell Jay roos Sean Ahmed Dean Johnny remember those are the people we stand next to work with get on stage with... Ahmed had 3 overalls and next show took overall in vegas to turn pro Sean took san jose 2x got 4th call outs in vegas . Dean went to vegas at approx 183lbs. Prep for them and then say it's not that complicated every show we hit has people who have placed at a national level people on the verge of their pro card . Not putting you down I know you work hard but saying prepping to go up against the comp we do isn't complicated just kind of makes it seem like your saying you know more than ariel omar Johnny etc
I'm not going to argue if you think it's genetics over hard work than fine.. im going by proven methods dean has the genetics he does minimum 75 min cardio a day . Ahmad has genetics he'd pro He does 2x cardio a day if you are lucky enough to have better genetics than these two pros and don't need cardio all the power to you fact is most people no matter what they are on at that level need cardio. I'm not lucky like you at 42 I need cardio to burn the fat I don't have the metabolism of someone close to 20 years younger than me
How many shows have you done mixedup? What have you placed?
I did 2 local shows many many years ago before I fought pro.. being honest I wasn't that good I placed in 2nd show4th first show didn't place I didn't know anything about diet etc cutting weight for me was plastic suit in the sauna like wrestling and muay thai. I realized just like having a Gracie in my corner I would never do well without a good coach and team which is why I hired the people I did. Hope I don't disappoint saying I wasn't good but im not one to puff my ego it is what it is I have great coaches and the dedication to follow them exactly so I hope it's enough this time around to have a good showing
I thought about hiring a coach... then I looked at how much some of the top ones are charging... thats a lot of money that could be used to buy food, supplements and Olympus UK products lol. I rather just do my own research and prep and save the money for the goodies. Now unless a certain coach has the "ins" with the judges or some "political" sway then yeah I might consider donating some bread to that coach.
Day 8 I don't seem to be experiencing any help in the joint department to counter the winny I was hoping by now it would help
WUUUSAI my brother... He may very well know more than these people, you really don't have a clue what he knows. The fact he does not have a stable of champions behind him does not mean he know less than people who do. You know that your guys know there stuff and that is awesome but the rest of the posturing is completely unnecessary.Umm not for nothing but can you go heads up with ronson Cornell Jay roos Sean Ahmed Dean Johnny remember those are the people we stand next to work with get on stage with... All of their preps are complicated all are making weekly changes all have made alot of pros. Do you honestle think you not complicated prep is better than these pro makers
It takes a while to see the effects of that, it only helps by increasing collagen. It can not undue what winny does to to your connective tissue in a week. Winny makes your connective tissue grow but it grows with the fibers out of alignment, making them brittle and dry. It takes a while for that to correct itself. GH helps with healing not so much inflammation. Sure as things heal they get less inflamed but the pain you are feeling is from inflammation. Have you thought about using any Cissus?Day 8 I don't seem to be experiencing any help in the joint department to counter the winny I was hoping by now it would help

Yeah, I feel you plus you SHOULD feel protective of your coach. You shouldn't let anyone shake your confidence in your coach. I knew you were probably "geared up" from the tren and feeling protective of what is now "family."
We need to see pictures to see where he's at. Every bodies 10-12% Bf on the interwebz. It'd be nice to see why he's dieting and training so hard. Are you that behind mixedup?
What does a typical day of eating look like?
Z I appreciate your honesty. But as for my coach he's not making any money this prep because last prep I tore my pec and had to get surgery.
Even you estimated my pic at approx 11% that still puts me in range to come in at under 6% not bad.for 40+ masters.
Maybe I am pushing hard but that's my choice. I've been competing in one form or another for 20+ years pushing hard is nothing new.
tyga tyga here is the pic he posted up in another thread I said was between 10-12% by my estimation. Of course you can only see his core here so hard to tell.We need to see pictures to see where he's at. Every bodies 10-12% Bf on the interwebz. A little flat from t3
I don't usually post pics this close but here's a current ab shotInvalid Link Removed
Ive never taken that many compounds, so I wouldn't know and I've never seen anyone drop 4-5% BF within 6 weeks. My prep was over 5 months long, slow and steady. It's ok to push yourself physically but chemically it's a toll you have to pay later on.
After your 2 shows, you need a good off season to work on your delts and upper chest, they are lacking a little. I've seen some huge 40+ year old guys at NPC Universe with great muscle maturity from decades of lifting. They put a lot of young guys to shame haha.

I agree things are going way faster in his prep than I would be comfortable with. However the only prep I have done was just like yours, I was Natural, and did a 5 month long cut bringing me down to this without any water manipulation. At 8 weeks out I was already 6% and I was actually worried about coming in lean enough.

Wasn't trying to bash on his coach or team, their knowledge and experience are well-founded. But nothing they know are anything new or special, the science is out there and there are many trials and errors done by many bodybuilders to solidify what works well and what don't. Everyone reacts differently to different compounds obviously, I do my own research and know my body better than anyone else. But like mixedup said, he feels comfortable to be in a environment with great support, which is good enough.
But I'm just gonna be brutally honest, his coach should of extended his prep and not push a client physically and chemically so hard just for some local qualifying show. A lot of coaches just want to make money and aren't being too honest, many won't to tell a client "hey I don't think you should compete at all this year and should take the next 8 months just to bulk", because they know that potential client will walk away and try to find another coach who can work 'magics' lol.
My chest lags the same way. After I broke my ribs.
Best exercise to peel them right up?
That is what I can't seem to figure out.
Advice?
Lots of Incline presses(db and barbells) and chest dips. FST7 on your last exercise, cable flys would be a good one.
Fat7?
Incline or decline?
